Great update! I was asking for Persia, and here it is :)
Thanks for the great projects too!
However, I'm having a problem with the update: I no longer have access to nation-specific missions. Is this a general bug?
How can I fix it?
Instead of the wider view with the generic "regional power" and "get 80.000 dudes in your army" type missions on the left and country-specific ones on the right, I now only see the vanilla wideness of the mission interface and the country specific ones are missing.
On the right of the mission interface are now a bunch of buttons that are used for selecting branching missions in vanilla, but (right) clicking them does nothing.
I used the console to complete a mission I know exists for Flanders at the start, namely to own or control Calais, but it does not cause a "missions can be completed" flag to appear at the top of the screen.
I assume that means the mission is not just hidden where I can't see or click on it but missing altogether.
Other than that, I really like the mod so far, but this one thing caused a lot of frustration.
Try playing with other mods again - don't have fun

This mod is my pc nightmare
Because of several lost wars after 1054, France eventually was dissolved totally. The latter's appanages didn't get indipendent, but finally saw themselves under the power of Bar, a member-state of the HRE, although Bar neither caused the French downfall nor was it the most powerful 'free' Galloroman nation that time.
This leads me to my question: What decides, who succeeds the French kingdom in its role as the feudal overlord of all appanages? Thank you :)
I'm not quite sure why some nations do and others don't, might be from their crown land % when it was passed? Definitely not limited as intended anyhow.
Just a thought, might give it a try myself & see how it goes.
For example: In my game Lombardy formed (by a nothern italian nation) and culture-converted their provinces to Langobardic. It seems weird that these provinces are neither in the germanic group (original Langobardic), or Italian.
Same for Frankish, Roman and Norse.
Super minor issue, only noticed as I went to pay off Krakow's debt (which is easily done via gifts anyhow) but thought I'd mention it in the off chance it's not a base game issue.
Thanks again for all the work! I've played VN exclusively since I first loaded it up back in ~2018 -- base game doesn't even come close. We all appreciate your continued work a ton.
Interestingly, when using the console to switch to them and using "Suggest Demands" in the peace deal, that only fills in money + war reps... 35/100 in war score seems odd. However, non-French vassals have independence wars without issue, seemingly always taking "Grant Independence" when they've won.
Is this a bug in the mod, problem with the base game, or heck, maybe intentional? Just curious, not much of an issue as France will inevitably get big anyhow and annex their territory whether they're vassals or independent all the same.
Love the mod!
