I must be missing the point of the mod, cause when I pick it up it drops all my Mats like anything else in the game, is it just a box you can move whenever you want?

I love this storage box! I just wish it was snap able up, down, left, right, and every which way, so we can make a storage area and have a box for each item or something for thoughs who have ocd and like to put different mats in each box, with also the pull system cuz apparently when i try and pull something into the box it wont allow it. just says 0 transferred. So this mod needs to be updated.You also cant use the transfer gun from one storage box to another which sucks.

I have tried almost every chest or storage box and vault and this is now the only one I used. It ALWAYS works, I can hold SOO MUCH in it and I can pick it up. Takes up a small amount of space. Love it. Thanks for this mod, makes everything so much nicer.

Quite a good chest. The only problem is, that it is lumber. Would you allow me to give you the 3D files for a metalic and modern-looking box?

Here's something that we would really need for all the tribes on our servers:
a metallic mass storage box
- 10,000 slots
- optional filters, displaying only arms, armor, basic resources, advanced resources, etc.
- paintable
- adjusts to wall or floor or neighboring mass sotorage box (snap-to)
- can hold a small label (one line text)
- accessable for all tribe members
- usable on rafts and platforms

Those would be used for the entire tribe, and be the targets for our tribal wars.

It's fine the way it is lol. I like having 7 or 8 of these around instead of 80 large boxes. Is the cost cheap yeah but probably saves about 4 hours of grinding for supplies to make 80 large chests that we put sideways and looks dumb. I personally would like if they were the same height as the cabnets so I don't have to look down.

Wait wrong mod sorry it is normal crafting cost for a small chest and yes I know its super cheap I didn't make it to be balanced. I made it cause I needed it and I shared it cause just in case others wanted it.

imo its way too cheap to make and its overpowered nature is not canceled out by the cost to create.

There is an engram for it. If it does not show up you have a conflict for some reason. Try moving it up the load list.

How does one get the box itself...aka crafting?

can you mat metal ingots weight reduce`?

It would be kinda cheaty but I would love if it reduces all items weight by 80%, playing singleplayer atm and I dont care how cheaty it gets :D

don't feel bad i just started and wow its alot to take in, " lol" its just a suggestion or an idea maybe trigger a thought process for something better, i know my mind gets wrapped around larger things and can't see the little things that make big impressions. But GREAT job i like this mod.

Eh don't really see the need. You should be able to paint them. But I will consider it when I update it in the future. Thank you for the input and glad you like the mod

Anyway you could give this a different texture. Make it nicer looking? Instead of a plain wooden crate. Either way, nice work.

No point in really adding any other storage types because this one does it all and holds stupid amounts of stuff. I may update it and give it the ability to snap and stack on it's self. But I have been really really busy lately and haven't had the time.

I got it to work and this storage box is great! It was actually the hosting companies program that was supposed to be removing mods that I didnt want but I found that none of the mods that had ever been downloaded had not been removed lol So, it had nothing to do with your mod :)

Hey just a update this has been working great for me. I love it and was just wondering if you plan on maybe adding the same concept to like a few other things like the book shelf and cabnet and vault?

If you are haveing issues with this move it up the load order. Set it to load like 2nd or 3rd. I am using it and it works fine. Not sure why you would not be able to place it.

Took your advice and tried unloading and reloading every one of my mods 1 by 1. ( boring as sheet) anyway I found out the problem was not with yours. It was from another 1. Is that the same as backing up a save? Because that I know how to do. I didn't think your mod would change anything drastic but I figured I'd ask

@CAPTMEATSACK I would not think this would cause a problem although I have never had more the 3 or 4 of these going at one time. But it does not check at a given interval for anything and should not be any different than a dino inventory or your own. Do you know how to back up your world to run a test?

Weird question and I'm not accusing just trying to narrow things down. Recently installed this and another mod works great and love it. But the last couple of days I noticed my ram being sucked dry. The games using like 12 gb of ram. Now my question is do you think that it could be because of this mod? Basically I had about 20 large storage boxes before and split them up with about 12 of yours to keep things organized and stuff. Do you think anything about this mod would cause such a thing? The other one I'm using is the armor rack 1 too. Basically just trying to figure out what 1 it could be. It could have been from all the moving of stuff. I'll keep you informed if you like. Otherwise I'm playing single player if that helps or matters.

Why not , when the weight of raw metal and stone/wood is reduce . Why not crystal and Metal?

@Trooper It only gives the weight reduction on raw metal not ingots and it is not supposed reduce the weight of crystal.

@TooCoolForStool, yes the weight reduction should work on platforms with no problem because it's the box that reduces the weight so it should not matter where you put it. As for the crafting requirements it's just storage its not really cheaty. Also it has low hp and can be damaged by anything that can damage its vanilla counterpart.

Does the weight reduction work for Dino Platforms too? Say i placed a box on a dino platform at placed in 2,000 metal. would the dino still be able to move because of the 80% reduction in weight?

Also, the crafting requirement feels like cheating at this point. Shouldn't it cost more than a standard box?

Please let me know if that fixes it or not.
