Just found this mod.
Like what you did with look of character.
But as I understand it basically female alternative to Webber.
Could you make her stats the same as Webber?
Otherwise it's just "hardmode" Webber

How goes the progress with this mod? I'm sure you've probly been busy with school and such too

could you make her hunger start a little high maybe 75 or even 100 if it is difficult it's fine at 50 I dont know how hard it is to code a character.

说一下这个人物吧，感觉就是一个女版韦伯（蜘蛛人），虽然是个怪物（注意，是个怪物，我和姬友saber一起走，她SAN值狂掉），不过是个颜值很高的妹子，自带一个蜘蛛巢，饥饿度50，而且饿的蛮快，是个难点，其他的属性也很平庸。不过她吃怪物肉等一系列食物都没有惩罚，这点还好，我觉得蜘蛛是这个MOD玩好的关键，一个人玩，我觉得基地建在蜘蛛巢里也是没问题的，不过要打蜘蛛的时候小心一点，本身还是很脆的。另外一点，可能是BUG还是什么的，游戏里她头像会挡住温度显示，所以要注意一点冬天保暖和夏天散热。当然，外貌协会的我玩她的最大原因，贴画和模型都很漂亮，所以一点小瑕疵无所谓的。

I took a quick look through some stuff, Tranforming seems rather complicated, I quick search found this guide http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/50848-help-with-character-mod-please/ , where some people have tried to help out. So you could attempt contacting those that replied with scripts and coding, or try to engineer them into yours somehow. It also appears theres some issue with ghosts for these things...but honestly all this goes over my head.

I've uploaded an altered version of this. That will just be webber with the sprite over it. I've added info linking back to this mod, and explaining a bit about how you are seeking help with designing it. If this offends you or you want it removed just let me know and I'll take it down, I literaly placed it up so I could play with all my friends easier, and i'm honestly in love with the sprite.

Heh, Yeah 50 hunger means your eating constantly.. Hay, don't let feature creep getcha Alistor, make a very solid Character first and Then consider weather she really needs transforming, its a neat gimick shure but how much wolud you practically use it?

Maybe you could add a hair-growth feature to cut her hair for silk like webber and his beard. Also, I do think the hunger is a tad low for my tastes. That's just my suggestions though. Nice work.

I might actually play her If she had 105 Hunger instead of 50 50 is just waaaay too hard core

Alistor you could try something with the play as mob mod like borrow files (you would need permission though) and i forgot what the other mod was but it used hotkey-spawned hats to add 3 additional forms to the character, it might have been called tiffany or something idk

She could just turn to a normal old spider. That's my suggestion.

Don't you think transformation would just break the balance of the character making her over powered?, I mean, most of the cute character I like from the workshop are over-powered, which in my case, a player with almost 300 hours makes the game sometimes too easy, so would be very cool to just see a group of normal characters with cute skins and maybe a simple special power, nothing too far. In the case of this particular character, right now it's nicely balanced, a bit similar to webber, why make her transform into a spider queen?, unless you could make other spider queens to attack her to balance a bit, just for saying something in terms of balance.

I think a transformation like this should be possible, but should be expensive to execute and temporarily only.

The already are characters and custom characters who change their appearance and behaviour (Woodie, Warren the Monster, Caitlin the Ophelia) and there also are mods that let you play as monsters (Playable Mobs 2 Alpha, Playable Pets) of which the last already has a spider queen, although I do not know how close her behaviour is compared to the spider queen monster ingame.

You could ask for help in the KLEI forum. There are alot of friendly and helpful people over there who know alot about the API of DST. They can help you with bugfixing and might also provide examples how to implement something. But you'd be really lucky if someone just wrote all of the code for you.

Elizabeth should be given custom dialog lines, btw. Right now her quotes are taken from the Abigail (Stardew) mod. As well as her stats - Hunger, Sanity, Health - but those feel alright for me for now.

Elizabeth's stats:
50 Hunger
150 Sanity
120 Health

She starts with 1x Spider Eggs and 2x Monster Meat in her inventory. The low max hunger kind of is a nerf to meatballs and makes playing her a bit more challenging.

She has Webbers tags "spiderwhisperer", "monster", "strongstomach", "upgradetypes.spider" and "inst.components.locomotor:SetTriggersCreep(false)", but she does not grow a beard. Spiders will not be hostile unless attacked and can be befriended. Mobs hostile towards spiders will also be hostile towards Elizabeth. Strongstomach means she can eat Monster Food without health and sanity penalty. She can enhance the tiers of spider dens with silk and doesn't alert spiders when walking over webby floor.

Her damage multiplyer is 1.1.
Her sprite looks really cute in a little spooky kind of way.


I think this character has potential to be alot of fun if the author implements features that set her apart from being just a beardless and more fragile reskin of Webber.

Would appriciate more information on the character like stats... and screenshots would be nice
