Try reinstalling the track. Sounds like might be corrupted. Still works for our league. The 2 mas files are for both versions of the track.

Hello Machine. I confess myself a fan of all your content.
But I want to tell you that a week ago we could not do a race on this circuit with the Mod of Nascar Skins 2016 because the drivers fell from the server as soon as we were more than 15 or 16 drivers.

In my tracer log I get these errors. What could be the cause?

Hi man. First....congratz for your dedicated effort to our passsion with stock mods. I tried at 96% strength, agression 15 and limit 8%. I will try your tips but i felt on turns, specially turn 3 that AI usually hit ur side and others AI does that each other, even on straigth. I played alternative AIW. Thanks!

There is a new layout of the track added. It is called Daytona Alternative AIW. It is identical except for AIW. This uses 1 racing line instead of 2 racing lines in the Daytona 500 version. This gives a more unpredictable AIW. And they are much less likely to hit human drivers. It is easy to get past the back part of the field, but quite difficult to get to the lead in comparison. Let me know what you think. It is another attempt to improve AIW that are difficult to get right on ovals. Try going up over 100% strength. I have been using 100% strength, 25% aggression, and 5% AI Limiter

running an Nvidia GTX- 720 graphics card

Yeah. The classic stock cars.

I can do a race with 26 though.

Maybe I have my game set wrong or something because the 2016's also do the jittery thing for me. Thats what I used and I kept reducing the number of opponents until it stopped happening.

Possibly my computer is doing something that causes that many AI to not work well I guess.

Was just sorta wanting to run a full Daytona 500 against AI's because I thought it would be an interesting time.

Which mod were you using? I have had no issues. I have always used and designed to work with the 2016 Skins Mod. Should work with default Studio 397 and Xfinity Mod also.
My main issue I found is the AI in some situation just run into you and for that reason more than 20 cars is not really raceable. Ideally around 10 to 12 was best. 100% is super hard.

So I tried to race this offline with 42 AI and me on the grid in classic stock cars and I guess thats too much for the game to handle or something because the game tells me im going 295 KMH while it looks like im going a walking pace and the other three cars rocket off.

Suppose I shouldnt use a full grid offline then?

It works fine with the 10 cars I usually run so I'm guessing the issue is the cars im using or the amount of them.

Anyways love the track. Great job.

Have you considered making the other Daytona track variant like the one in the Rolex 24hours? as i presume this track mod is oval only, is that correct?

Stockcarsimracing.com runs a heap of races. Actually affilliated leagues run the series. 4 nights a week in the US. Starting in Australia this Sunday night also. I know of 1 French, and 2 Brazilian leagues running Nascar also.

Updated to DX11. Could be a little on the dark side. Please let me know. And reply here if it working OK. I had major problems getting it up. Just moved to NBN in Aust, and my modem keeps losing DNS every time I try to upload to Steam, So I uoloaded via a different location.

Another small update. The AI seem better now, though they do seem to be dependent on how good the random AI group is when you race.

Yellow lights now work correctly.
The AI line has been fixed so they pit correctly.

I was not planning to. But I do like to support offline players. I have a few more tracks to do, then I will probably have a look. I would first like to fix the problems with AI cars running too low when side by side, and also lifting dramatically in the same situation.

I have friended you. It will be a conflict with another mod. I had a look through the rFactor Steam mod list and I cannot see any mods that might conflict. (You can never be sure though) But I have seen another Daytona mod floating around which is a renamed Jacksonville with virtually no changes except the name. Knowing the file structure, if this was installed it may very well cause this to happen. This sort of thing typically happens while building a track, and you have missed naming a material correctly.

No. There is another version available with road course in it. But probably not on Steam.
It is based off Jacksonville.
