I really like these buses, high quality and nice detail. I was wondering if you could perhaps make a scania omnilink bus
RDragonzx Jul 2, 2020 @ 6:15am
These buses are of fantastic quality.
Been solely using them since I got the game, and found them years ago.
Thank you for sharing your works. :skyecute:

Thank you!
I will credit you.
DanDeKalb  [author] Jan 10, 2020 @ 5:06am
Sure, you can upload it.
I am happy to see you liked it enough to modify it yourself.
RefrigeratorSalesman Jan 8, 2020 @ 8:26am
@DanDeKalb Hi!
I have done a custom painting (hometown livery) of this bus model that you have made.
I have some friends that would want to use my recolor, can I upload it to Steam Workshop if I credit you as the maker? Otherwise I won't upload, I just share the file to my friends directly. Thank you in advance. PS. It is a very nice model, I use it in about every map that I play! :steamhappy:
DanDeKalb  [author] Oct 23, 2017 @ 4:57am
I don't plan to. It doesn't add anything to the game other than the name of the bus, since there aren't any game mechanics for alternative fuels.
Photon_ Oct 21, 2017 @ 6:18am
Do you plan to make biofuel versions of your buses?
LisaMiza Jun 16, 2017 @ 12:17pm
I love this bus!
DanDeKalb  [author] Jun 15, 2017 @ 7:55am
Download this mod. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=928128676
It lets you set the type of bus for each line. So you'll have to go to each bus route you have and select only this bus.
hipsu Jun 15, 2017 @ 7:50am
I got a quastion. If a enable this mod, just some of the busses are these ones. How can i change this? I want all busses like this.
Avanya Apr 11, 2017 @ 4:28am
I'll cross my fingers for some extra free time then! ^^ An update would be awesome, then I could switch all my busses to this. :)
DanDeKalb  [author] Apr 11, 2017 @ 3:57am
Hey, thanks. :D
I made this model a while ago, so I didn't really know much about LODs. I agree it's a bit much, but at the same time, it's a bus model, so you probably won't have as many of these as other vehicles. I may redo it when I have some time.
Avanya Apr 11, 2017 @ 2:58am
Really love this bus, but man that custom LOD model is WAY to detailed. Vehicles should always be below 100 tris. :/
FelipeMusica Sep 14, 2016 @ 6:05pm
Please, Can you convert this to a prop? Thanks!
DanDeKalb  [author] Jun 23, 2016 @ 7:35am
Model has been updated, with improvements to the rear, front and wheels.

What you have by now looks great.

Hey guys, I am working on a model and texture polish and I think I am finished with that. Here are the images so far: http://imgur.com/a/6QlFh
Please leave some feedback if you find any issues. I will update the asset in-game in a week at most.
EricD112 Apr 9, 2016 @ 12:12pm
awesome

Someone's stolen your bus as "MLG BUS" on the workshop
DanDeKalb  [author] Mar 25, 2016 @ 9:15am
I have added a LHD version which you can subscribe to here:

@SonOfNitrous
Thanks! I am very happy with how this turned out compared to the first version I published a week ago. I will make some more variations of this bus, like a double decker, 6x2 and articulated bus eventually.
SonOfNitrous Mar 24, 2016 @ 2:29pm
@DanDeKalb many thx for your kind words.
Amazing quality for the 1st creation! Keep it going! :steamhappy:
DanDeKalb  [author] Mar 24, 2016 @ 1:11pm
I want to say a big thank you to SonOfNitrous for suggesting smoothing, I really appreciate your help!

Update: 24 Mar @ 10:02pm
Applied smoothing to jagged faces

Added some updated screenshots too. Please post your feedback on this new model.
SonOfNitrous Mar 24, 2016 @ 9:08am
@DanDeKalb If you have done everything right - edges at selected groups should be gone. Game will render it. No influence on filesize.
Good luck! =)
DanDeKalb  [author] Mar 24, 2016 @ 8:31am
@SonOfNitrous
Thank you, so if I apply that to certain parts, they will also render in-game smoothed out, right? I don't have any previous modeling experience so I want to be sure.
@A True Canadian
Thanks man, but don't worry. The rating system uses an algorithm that is also based on the number of ratings. I got a few more ratings, and now it shows 4 stars.
@Killa2000dec
I have only made one bus model so far, which is this one. I'll work on converting this one to LHD and will include this feature in future models as well. Thanks for the suggestion.
Killa2000dec Mar 24, 2016 @ 7:08am
I really love the look of your vehicles, but as someone who lives in the UK I use left handed traffic because I feel so comfortable with it, but buses with right handed doors look so out of place and as lovely as they look I can't tolerate it for more than half an hour.
Is there any possibility you would upload some of these buses with left handed doors? (Or any modders want to make a mod that allows us to flip the left and right hand side of buses?)
TheMyPillow®Guy Mar 23, 2016 @ 11:22pm
i wish people would stop giving 3 stars to good work like this... just stop being dick heads people.
SonOfNitrous Mar 23, 2016 @ 2:59pm
Hi again! Rlly looking forward to see new screenshoots!)
According to the images available right now I can suggest using smooth modifier to get rid of edgy looking windscreen and some other frontparts. Here is the link to what I mean - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Iswm1xKtGs
Cheers!
DanDeKalb  [author] Mar 23, 2016 @ 1:40pm
Update: 23 Mar @ 10:03pm
Improved textures and model quality:
Remodeled front part
Better texture proportions
Higher quality textures
Small details like signs and turn signals
Smoother wheel arches

I have not updated the images yet with the new model!
Pandawu Mar 22, 2016 @ 8:41am
do more please
love your work with scania
DanDeKalb  [author] Mar 22, 2016 @ 6:15am
Thanks man. I appreciate your suggestion, I agree that it looks wrong. It was one of the first parts I modeled, so I was trying to use as few polygons as possible.
I am currently in the process of reworking and polishing this model. The front part also looks a bit off, the roof might be a bit too high and perhaps the rear could use some more detail. Once I am satisfied with my work, I'll update the model and start making a double decker version.
SonOfNitrous Mar 21, 2016 @ 2:21pm
Looks rlly nice after update =)
The only thing - I suggest wheelarches smothing. A bit weird =)
Thumbs up!
DanDeKalb  [author] Mar 20, 2016 @ 10:37am
Update: 20 Mar @ 6:56pm
Fixed narrow roof issue
DanDeKalb  [author] Mar 20, 2016 @ 7:50am
I have noticed the model is too narrow at the top, I will update the asset to fix this issue.

@The619Soldier
It's a fantastic design, I love it.
@skwai56
Sure, I'll start work on the double decker first then, since I was gonna try the 6x2 before that.
@felipemusicalcosta
Thanks :D
@CDMC
It took a while, but I guess I am ready to make some quality stuff now hopefully. :D
FelipeMusica Mar 19, 2016 @ 9:20pm
I love it!
skwai56 Mar 19, 2016 @ 8:30pm
Really great! Thanks a lot! I look forward to other version of it, in particular the double deck version use in Berlin!
Tegglz Mar 19, 2016 @ 3:03pm
As a scania fan, that is a damn sexy bus
