I tried alternative mod launcher 1.4.1
but when i play new game(new campaign), happen a problem.
it is opening bug (i guess).

New campaign -> Intro Video ( Gate crasher scene ) -> Suddenly Mission failed -> Ship inside screen(Digital Globe scene)

If you're using 2K's Launcher then it won't load mods made with the base game's SDK in WotC. Use a launcher that works:

Works absolutely fine in WotC. All 16 voices are there, (8 male and 8 female voices).
It also works and it's fully compatible with other voice mods, even japanese ones.
100% working fine. Kudos!!!

@mondomau: Yes, you like voicepacks where ordering someone to move they aggressively scream "I'll cut you down!", I got it. Don't go giving credit for stuff that wasn't done is what I told these people that kept doing just that. Since this thing is no effort.

@ Yamino Takamaru If you don't like it, don't download it. Give it a thumbs down if you really must, then move on with your life. I don't see what purpose is served by obsessively posting in the comments and slagging off the author and anyone who has a different opinion to you. You're just coming off like try-hard jerk. TL;DR - this is you: "REEEE stop liking things I don't like!"

@Merostin: I'd recommend the Total War: Shogun 2 Voicepacks, at least they don't scream that they'll kill YOU when you give them the order to walk... (in overall, this is a ♥♥♥♥ pile as far as accuracy goes just from the TONE of the voices, no understanding of the language needed even...)

I feel like this could be really useful. Not as good as getting actual Japanese voice acting in the way one of the other international mods was trying to, but solid enough to count. However, I would've preferred to see some more things done to the lines. IE, applying radio distortion effects. Past on Yamino Takamaru's comment, I'm assuming the author has rejected others' attempts to apply that, which would be a shame.

@LunarD3ATH: "More perfect" couldn't be more wrong of a term, since nothing about this mod is even close to perfect. People calling this "amazing" are just simply wrong and give credit where there shouldn't be any, and again, a modder claiming to correct that stuff and saying "no" to help being offerred for that and then never changes anything, doesn't deserve the respect some people think they do. The jumbling together of these voices still is some work, so for that the respect is earned, but nothing more.

@Yamino Takamaru While I understand your position, you're being incredibly whiny over nothing. So what if they're too lazy to make a more perfect product? 90% of the people who will install this don't speak Japanese and among them, most won't care even if it's clear it isn't accurate.

It runs fine with WOTC, as does every other voice pack mod. The only thing that won't work without a couple of changes is that voice packs won't be available for the special WOTC-only classes unless they're set to be usable by them. They'll still work for regular soldiers, though.

Any chance this mod will be updated to run with WOTC. This is one of my favorite mods.

@Flax: I'd be more impressed if it wasn't just that the voice-lins are randomly taken and jumbled together. More so because I know the work involved with checking that the lines work for the action you assign them to, since I helped Mid-Boss with his Hyperdimension Neptunia Compa Voice-Pack. I also had offered the help here. It's just really annoying when you offer someone help, they don't want it and say they'd fix it themselves. I get that it's enough for you, but I'd rather advise you to just get some voice-packs like those Hyperdimension Neptunia ones, at least for female voices. They'll actually say fitting stuff, instead of stuff that doesn't fit. Which includes more hard work, which is way more respectable. I respect the work being done in assigning the voices to actions at all, but that's it. I don't need to respect the "hard work" that hasn't been done - which is checking that they're fitting.

@Yamino: For me and dragon - because we don't understand what they're /actually/ saying, it does the job for us. It's just a japanese voice we can use for japanese characters to help us immerse in the game.

I understand that it might not be enough for you, but for the vast majority of people it's plenty.

They could be screaming "Tally-ho Potato" for all I care, I'll still just assume that they're shouting something like "Aye, sir!" when I give them a command.

So basically, we're all very impressed that you can speak a little bit of Japanese. Well done. Please understand that no one else cares, and getting pissed off at someone else's hard work (that you are not obliged to use - and is free) is actually pretty mean-spirited.

@Dragon32: Thing is...I offered to help with correcting the placements of the voice-files, but Smexiroth meant they'd do it themselves....and never did. So I react kinda pissed to this kind of stuff. Maybe also because that kind of stuff(using Japanese without understanding it) is one of the original uses of the word "weeaboo" when it still had a meaning before it turned into the same "nerd" is today, but well...
It's the same if you'd take some English sample-voices and just randomly added them to some action, the only difference being that you too would understand it now. I get that when you don't understand what they say you might think they scream something that might make sense in context, but...why should they scream in the first place when you send them to walk somewhere? :x
