Alrighty folks, feel free to DM me with ideas or suggestions, and we'll see how we go.
Down the road, if all goes well, I'll see about additional auxillary units and maybe more factions, such as some of the ERE being made independent or puppets of the ERE.
Bear in mind that this is all pending permissions.
Firstly, I'm still trying to figure out how the AoR system works. Secondly, the reason the Armoured Legio becomes unavaliable is, I believe, due to the fact it is also an AoR unit avaliable to other factions that own a province in Latium. That makes it become unavaliable as soon as the upgrade happens.
I'm gunna see if I can upload a quick little fix, if I can figure out how.
That being said, if anyone happens to enjoy this mod enough to work on it, there is one simple thing that I think needs to be fixed:
Legionnaires have the same number of missles as full-on skirmisher units, which reduces pretty much all combat to trying to cheese the other side to death with jav spam. They also have the same rate of fire as skirmisher units, so in the corridors of some city one Legio unit can machine-gun down the cream of your entire empire over the course of one unlucky minute.
If they could just use the base game's missle system that'd be amazing
You could just use the already existing units and AUXILLIARY system to help, I just want to experiment with the starting positions, to be totally honest :P
@Gamepad gamer would be oh so very happy if you could post an auxilliary only mod.....
