this mod works yall trust ive had it for a few years now and even pair it with other ai mods and my years of constantly using this I can confidently say it works very well. It all also depends on which mods you yourself have downloaded and what you already have your ai difficulty set to.

it lowers the ai accuracy setting numbers automatically, thats all.

I think this mod doing the opposite, of what supposed to do? Wanted to try it, and i just got one-shot killed from 500mt in a single shot from enemy with AK. Literally with the first shot, and i had him locked into my x10 sniper scope.

Like this mod or not, this mod made it more Realistic with Stormtrooper aim to Military Precision Aim You cannot even Made to through Prologue.

Way back there was a bunch of testing that was done by another modder, who came up with very believable performance based on community feedback. i based the changes on those. Very easy to customise, just look at my post on bis forums - think its called accuracy fix or similar - and there's the editable files. Theres a link to that in these comments somewhere as well.

Basically I want to play with AI Skill at 1.0 and AI precision at 0.4, but I don't want to get one shotted or anything. Specifically on Antistasi, is this mod compatible? Does it affect friendly AI as well?

doesnt affect vehicle accuracy at all. The config is for ai and their rifles as per BIS commands. full details in a post below.

Good and Bad at the same time, the infantry is now nice to fight with but vehicles...
You sit in a tank and the gunner miss every shot. Maybe change that the tanks and other vehicle gunners hit again and then its a damn good mod

@shrack. it changes the ai setting in the missions to less aimbot levels. but makes no permanent changes as you can just disable the mod.

@ArchonOfJustice Fixed difficulty settings? Ever heard of it? As he mentioned in the description: "AI accuracy in campaign and single player missions" That's all I can think of. Either way, not for me. I use MCC, it comes with GAIA and it's own AI settings, as well as other AI manipulating mods like Vcom AI and such.

all this mod does is automatically change all AI accuracy to lower, more humanish levels, using the commands BIS has provided. It is very simple but works pretty well in most testing.

Doesn't seem to fix the accuracy of the enemy vehicles, I still get sniped from a kilometer away in a moving vehicle through the window on the first burst.

Hmm. I am finding 1.0 on the main skill and 0.2 on accuracy seems like a good balance already. So does this make them worse shots than 0.1 (so less), or something, in the same way that Universal Difficulty Overhaul gives you above 1.0 on the main skill? I feel if I go below 0.1 they're not going to hit anything, and on the Neptune Spear mission even without a dozen zombies and spawning of the enemy happening with TPW I get more than half my dudes out of action. So I'm not sure going over 1.0 on the main skill is a good idea for me. Maybe making them even worse shots might be good for single player Warlords? Maybe if I make them really bad shots with yours and really super smart with UDO it would be more interesting behavior in some ways, but I'd still have a fighting chance. Seems like it might be sort of strange, though. Smarter they are, the more likely they leave their sentry post. I clear buildings that are empty.

Will this reduce the accuracy of AI when using other AI mods like VCom and Lambs? The options game sliders don't seem to do anything when using those.

@Kuro - next time it happens could you look into your arma3.rpt file? it should have error messages there to help track down the issue.

@MattyQuest - yes for each mission. because the addon only starts working when ai are present. If the initializing messgae happens often in a row then it happens usually when there are a few cut scenes in a row and for some reason each cut scene is a fresh instance.
