sorry this formation is wrong a roman century was 80 men strong 6 centuries formed a cohort 10 cohorts formed a legion with a unit of cavalry 120 men and each cohorts were numbered 1 to 10 with the 1st cohort larger than the rest containing 800 men check it out on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rcbedan5R1s

As i said i do not maintain this mod anymore, if you want the problems fixed you will have to fix them yourself.

@{13th} Bakara the equites lose their horses and the triarii have 80 instead of 60 units.

I have stopped playing rome II and therefore dont really maintain this mod, but try changing the unit size because i dont remember which size it is adjusted for.

@{13th} Bakara my triarii have 80 men and my unit size is on medium.

Well it may look like the Hastati and Principes both have 20 units each. In reality they are 10 units represented that way to show that they are double the size of the Triarii. They would not split up.

So in total:

Hastati: 1200 (10 x 120)
Principes: 1200 (10 x 120)
Triarii: 600 (10 x 60)
Velites: 1200 (Not really in a particular pattern as far as I know, but in this case: 10 x 120)
Equites: 300 (10 x 30)

As you can see they like the number 10 when it comes to subunits...

a cool idea would be to make the units bigger like this Ror 200 Velt 240 Hast 260 Princ 200 or 160 and Tri about 120 or 100 and the cav units about 60 to 80 that would work if you want about 5000 men in a legion i think i know there an other mod that lets you have 40 units in the campain

I don't understand. But I guess you divide here an entire legion into the smaller subunits; in your drawing are present 70 subunits....

@GryllsBrake, my mod aims to make the smaller independent units size realistic (the maniples and turmae) the thing is a manipular legion had 30 maniples and 10 turmae so already there we have reached the limit in a custom battle (40) so unless you have another player on your team it's impossible to field an entire legion.

I mean how many soldiers your legion have ?

This is a impressive little mod, some in-game screenshots however would really add visual impact to how it looks in gameplay.

@GryllsBrake, what do you mean with your second comment?
Jesus Loves You^_^ Feb 5, 2016 @ 3:53am
Still I don't figure if that's historical realistic or not.......
Livington Feb 5, 2016 @ 12:06am
It'd be cool if you fixed the unit costs for the campaign.

Would be better if you let ''Turmae'' with 30 men but somehow raise their morale which was realistic.
