If anybody still reads this: is there a reason why all the scenarios always start with science and technologies maxed out?
FeedTheBugs Nov 19, 2022 @ 9:50pm
how do the scenarios work
ghostcowboy500 May 19, 2022 @ 12:27am
alright so a few things skyrim should be more snowy and have tundra and bruma, also riftens lake isnt that big it needs to be bigger, minor details.

Great map! I'm playing with the Huge version and I see that some of the islands are not connected by coast tiles so I guess they are impossible to reach if we play only with the Medieval Era, right?
NSaronRevan Sep 19, 2019 @ 7:26pm
how do you gain access to this map? ive subscribed but I do not know how to per say download it to be playable via civ v as title suggests its based on... my question is just how is this downloaded or do I have this all wrong? and don't get me wrong, im a little obsessed with tamriel, elder scrolls universe and its history/land..

Sorry if I'm late to the party, I was playing Civ 5 out of nostalgia today. I really like the maps, but there's a weird thing where there are no horses? I was playing on the marathon Tamriel Huge map with no city razing. I know it's specific to the mod map because I tried using the Elder Scrolls civs on a regular oval pangea map and horses appeared as normal once I'd unlocked them.

Todd Howard did it again

kingchris20  [author] Jul 3, 2018 @ 3:21pm
Sure
Kasgigz Jul 3, 2018 @ 10:59am
When you get back on this mod, could you make a no city state version ?
acridpunkpistol Jun 2, 2018 @ 3:53pm
Is it possible to enable research for the True To Lore Tamriel map? I'm assuming I probably have to dive into the mods files somewhere, just need some help figuring out what exactly to change. Apologies in advance if you've already answered this somewhere.

I do plan on re-visiting the Civ 5 version of this mod, but it won't be until after I can finish the Civ 6 version.
Mobear May 7, 2018 @ 5:33pm
Will you consider making a small map? Just something more prone to war. Even the standard map is too big to play on non true to lore because you end up with civs that never expand to anything close to their lore borders, and true-to-lore scenario doesn't allow for a natural build up to stronger and weaker civs and war. Super enjoy all your mods and love this modpack. Hope you consider this!
MelodyMage Apr 16, 2018 @ 12:05pm
I downloaded it and it didn't work. I couldn't find it in singleplayer or multiplayer
kingchris20  [author] Apr 14, 2018 @ 5:15pm
That's what this is
MelodyMage Apr 14, 2018 @ 2:56pm
Is there a way to download the map just so I can play it with my friends? No TES civs or anything just the map?
DJInfection Apr 10, 2018 @ 8:59am
Is there a way to make the Daedra the Barbarians, would fit a bit better considering they used portals to attack all the civs?
Hamg Jan 25, 2018 @ 8:40am
wow
Lyserus Dec 25, 2017 @ 10:09pm

It seems there are only (or mostly) city states and wonders in skyrim&morrowind...any chance on that hopefully?
kingchris20  [author] Oct 22, 2017 @ 6:24am
yes
tfrills Oct 21, 2017 @ 11:10pm
@kingchris20 I have that mod, is it compatible with this one?
kingchris20  [author] Oct 21, 2017 @ 8:03pm
@tfrills there is search for modmaker BlouBlou and you will find what you are looking for
tfrills Oct 21, 2017 @ 3:25pm
I wishe there was a way to stop research at the end of the medieval era.
SevButcher Sep 20, 2017 @ 7:37pm
Fun mod.
kingchris20  [author] Jul 18, 2017 @ 10:37am
you don't need DLC. You just need DLC if you download the civilization pack that goes with it. These maps can be used on any version
Trunk Jul 17, 2017 @ 9:19pm
Why did you tag this as Vanilla if you need DLC
DerigarsChairman Jan 20, 2017 @ 9:10pm
diety playthrough update.
ive eliminated cyrus, the wood elves as well as the catfolk (killed early on so very little impression)
apparently diety level ai gets riflemen, gatlings and cannons. The islands even have ironclads and subs. So my naval strategy is to use privateers or subs i capture to find subs manually.
skyrim is down to three cities near morrowind. The lizardfolk as well as the high king have both lost their capitals. However the high king has most of his empire intact while the lizardfolk have lost all but their northeast. Morrowind is barely dented and half of the summerset mainland has been conquered, with their capital in the yellow. Granted i have to use two giant navies to fight them but im dealing with freaking subs.
DerigarsChairman Jan 10, 2017 @ 7:42pm
so using the map to make an always war version
all civs are at war, but allied city states are constant.
all city states need to be militarlistic as to be useful in such a scenario
all civs start with a military academy, as well as brandesburg gate in their capital, maybe even the puuk wonder from workshop as well. Thinking whether to give every nation autocracy as freedom is op as hell without teching, and order has many policies rendered useless. The more experiance units start with the better, especially in capital.
I will use all elder scrolls and game of thrones wonders thank god the retarted ai never goes for the military, production, or food growth wonders, the ones that are most useful

The Empire Starts with alhambra, however all other civs will either have a forbidden palace or the cn tower. Im also giving them the roman unique ability cause its so fiting.

DerigarsChairman Jan 7, 2017 @ 9:40pm
The use of settlers is also very benefical, reason being is that there are absolutely enormous unfilled areas of the map, were talking room for both major ports as well as giant swaths of land needing a city. Thats the kicker here, i feel those lakes should have citywide canals just to make them useful, and standard resources would also help rather than random. Also another tip, maybe a few more workers per civ, makes life easier, as would prebuilt buildings in cap and 2 other major cities. Perhaps unlocking zoo and statium would help too? Maybe just rename em i guess as they are neccesary for large empires
DerigarsChairman Jan 7, 2017 @ 9:27pm
Tips: i use the no road maintence cause with -80gpt u cant have an army. Also disabling happ helps alot. Regardless i played as the inperiala and directly marched south to conquer the northern cities of the tigerfolk. Next step of mine was to launch my peace out for 20 pop city (can never resist). With the defeat of those folks i must meet my enemy of rockcastle. From then on i will attack whomever next is in the way. Best wonders: Alhambra, forge wonder (massive production), the vampire lord is also helpful and is like having a khan but without being a general.

Everytime I try to load the "Tamriel Domination – Cultural Reset PLUS" Scenario it crashes, anyone here who can help me with that?
Broberon Jan 4, 2017 @ 7:14am
I love this map! Will there be a port for Civilization VI?
Don't Worry, He Knows Dec 26, 2016 @ 3:54am
@Blackops stop building settlers :p
Zealot4507 Dec 25, 2016 @ 5:04pm
wheneve i build a settler, no matter what map type i choose, I cant move it from my city, even though other civs are founding new cities, any advice?
Crushdrummer Dec 14, 2016 @ 4:22pm
When playing the scenario with the added civs (Dwemer, Daedra, etc.) my game crashes as soon as it becomes the Orcs' turn to move. I also noticed that the Orcs don't have a capital, their one city is just a regular city. I think they're related, how do I fix?
Leo Nov 29, 2016 @ 8:58pm
Having a bit of trouble with this mod; seems that in all modes the technology advances ahead even if the senario specifies "Dawn era." I've seen some others with the same problem here. Anyone have a fix? Seems like a great mod despite this.
Arslan Nov 26, 2016 @ 1:27am
good
MrAlpal Aug 31, 2016 @ 1:32am
This is great, but once you get to the point where you have guns and whatnot... the shine kinda wares off
Depsurrel Aug 21, 2016 @ 2:17pm
For some reason it won't allow me to select the civ I want in scenario mode, instead, when I click Tiber to change, the only one that shows up is Hammerfell. In normal civ it also doesn't let me pick a civ unless it's in advanced setup, so IDK how to fix.
It's bullshit. No one cares Aug 2, 2016 @ 9:30pm
Не видит мод в мод-менеджере игры.
Wololo-Pocalypse Aug 1, 2016 @ 5:52pm
Dillard, the map pack (this one) doesn't need the DLC...
but the "required" mod needs G&K along w/ BNW.

p.s. I put required in quotation marks because you shouldn't need the civs for the maps, in my opinion.
DCcherrytrees Jul 20, 2016 @ 10:24am
there is a glitch if you play as the argonians on tamriel true borders true city locations they can't train shadowscales
friend cube #1 Jul 6, 2016 @ 1:51am
Perhaps technological advancement?
Oddloaf Jun 7, 2016 @ 3:22am
It appears that in the true to lore scenario, it is impossible to train certain special units such as the shadowscales
TheDillard Jun 5, 2016 @ 9:30pm
So, I see that this is tagged for the DLCs and vanilla.
I'd appreciate some confirmation on if it works with vanilla or actually does require all dlc.
Don't Worry, He Knows May 13, 2016 @ 8:47am
@Jaevel click load scenario when you choose the map and you'll have true starting locations
Kjaer18 May 12, 2016 @ 12:45pm
Dumb question. Is there a way to change where the spawn point at the beginning is? Like, I want to play as Argonia, but it just does not feel right to start up at where the Cyrodil should be at.
Luck E buck Apr 20, 2016 @ 5:37pm
does this work with the vanilla game?
isaiah Apr 15, 2016 @ 8:59pm
Could you possible add recources like luxuries and strategic resources throughout the world?
