It's a simple but more traditional wargame that's also about trench raiding and infiltration.

The guy is a big fan of making tons of small microgames.
I made all the cards myself, including the design and such, but obviously the images and card backing artwork were just grabbed off the internet so I don't really have any claim to some grand originality. Honestly, the thing that took the most time after I got the general format of the cards set up was finding suitable images for everything. It's quite difficult to find a relevant image of a bangalore torpedo for the first world war.
I thought about uploading it awhile ago but figured no one would really be interested since there was no response on the nexus. Since it's already here, there's not really any point in removing it. I'd hate to see the people who had subscribed not being able to play it all of a sudden.
Unfortunately there are only few people who look at nexus and most of them are looking for Munchkin and other games that can't be uploaded here on Steam.
@FreddieFreeman, i'll check asap what's going on.
I thought about uploading this myself but whatever, it's nice to see people actually played it and enjoyed it. No one ever commented on the nexus. Cards took be like 5 days to make from scratch.
My main problem is the difficulty and some cards.
Right now, this game is very, very difficult. Now, this is not always bad, but sometimes it is impossible to win in some matches.
The Egg Granade, for example, deals -1 damage to the enemy, but it removes the fortification of the enemy trench (which is generally -1), making it`s ability practically useless.
Although this is a very good game, I sincerely hope you keep developing it, adding more decks and fixing some of the cards.
Anyway, i've uploaded a fix, please check if that's okay now. :)
If you're gonna do a 100-cards session i probably have to enlarge the play area a bit more.
One thing is a bit distracting, and that's the table background of the aireal view. Could that be toned down a bit?
Place the Terrain Cards (check the deck names) in a 5x10 grid. The biggest one.
Place the enemy cards OVER the terrain cards that says "Occupied", place the three Machinegun on the MG nests. (this is the smaller one)
Than use the third deck for actions.
Your squad spawn in the first row, wherever you want.
I'd suggest you to leave a bigger space between terrain cards, as in the picture, so you can place the enemy cards over them without completely overlapping them. The tokens are only "aestethic" counters, to check how life point has a squad.
Green: 1 LP
Dark Green: 2LP
So, 3 Dark Green enemy soldiers mean 6 LP (6 men left). You can also use the poker fiches (i use them for my main squad) and the digital counter!
