There was a recent texture recode maybe it screwed this up

I agree the sections change from bird to bird, dino to dino but in the description of the item it says Section 0 is quetz wings, and in fact it is, it worked on the blue, but when I made the red 0 and put it on the quetz it dyed the mohawk.

im sure ive said this before but not all color regions are the same on every dino 2 on an argy is wing tips but 2 on another flyer could be anywhere

@Jrod696 Idk how it is now but I know it takes some playing around with and accuracy to get it right.

The Red Section 0 doesnt dye the wings of a quetz it gave him a red mowhawk

and yeh u can use it on wild dinos we had pink bronots everywhere for days till that sort thing got banned lol

drinking is the sound effect used for activation if nothing is happening they are not aiming it right (just like the commands u have to be looking at a specific part of the dino usually straight down the length of it)

Many people on my server 'drink the item rather then color the dino. What gives?

@RAWTEE A reset wouldn't be possible I don' think, as it would involve an item that needs to save that dino's specific color somewhere so it knows what to reset to.

I think there are too many color possibilities to make this mod viable really. There are 6 regions to color, and there are 41 colors, that means that this mod would need 246 items. Plus 41 more for an "ALL" item so 287 items.

I know that 3 tends to be the main bulk of the body,
and 5 tends to be the underbelly? Unless I got those two mixed up.. I tested this on raptors at least.

Perhaps if you were to make this mod with every single color, you could make different icons for each region it affects? We could experiment a little while to see what changes color on specific regions to figure out what a region is mainly used for but it seems 3 and 5 may be their body skin mostly.

I ended up using commands because this mod is missing a lot of colors and such that I wanted.

This mod works on all of the Dino's I've used it on even the dilo of course.

Love, love, love this mod. But I wish there were more colors available, and more color regions available. We were running a dynamic color mod, but our server kept crashing and we had to remove it. I found this one instead and the way it works is pretty cool. Although . . . .

It worked perfectly a few days ago (white, whole dino) to color my argent and my son's direbear. But I tried using the same one (white, whole dino) on an argent again this evening. A tribemate in the next valley over said "WTH, is something wrong with my graphics card? This bronto just turned white." I was standing in front of the argent, looking right at it, but a wild dino on the other side of a mountain ridge is what was colored. I tried it a second time, taking the argent out into an area where nothing else was near it, but it didn't work the second time either.

I hope there are updates to this mod again soon. It's a very cool concept.

Please update and add more colors. Like allowing purple, green, and orange to be painted on different parts like black and blue and red. I love this mod and would definitely love more color options. Oh and adding to more dinos? I tried with a dilo and it didn't work. Thanks for this mod. One of my favs!

I've implemented your mod on my server, but it doesn't seem to work, I have all the engrams, I can make the color modifier, but it does not chance the colors..... Im placing the items on my quickbar, look at the dino I want to chance, but nothing happends. What am I doing wrong?

Hey great mod but I found a small problem with a colour. The red section 0 says that it changes the wings of the quetzal but instead it changes the top of heads. But the black section 0 for example does the change the wing colour

Any chance we'll get colors for region 2 and 3 and get 4 for white as there seems to be 2 region 5 engrams but no region 4

Could you create a discussion with all the spawn commands? Also, one of the white colors is duplicated in the Engrams list.

Usually means the mod is improperly installed or the server may not be a dedicated server.

I use the color on a Dino I am looking at , then my Tribe mate from across the map ask what happened to his bird.

no matter the Dino I use it on it ALWAYS chances his Bird's color.
it works sometimes, and other times it is only his Main Bird.
other times it dose not work at all

Does apply this to breeding, if I change dino's colors will that breed through or the orignal colors

No idea when it comes ot that Shazam.

We found something odd.. There are 2 people in the same tribe separated by quite a bit between their bases.. Tribemate #1 was painting their dragon, and Tribemate #2's dragon was changing colors as well even tho they were far apart. Any ideas?
