I know this mod is not updated for quite some times now, but I'm disappointed that the Shogunate Infantry is missing, would be amazing to have those units available for the setting.

For others that may be wondering, you can edit the tables using Pack File Manager to change the clan you want to use modern units with.

Hey, it's me again. Nevermind my previous question, the boshin rifles use the same alpha bullet as the vanilla matchlock units, so i can modify the same values to get "invisible" bullets.

I want to remove the bullet trails for cannons and muskets. In vanilla it's enough to set the opacity and fadeout of the trail to 0 to get that effect, but in your mod I can't find the projectile_trails table (neither in the data. pack or fots.pack), any idea where to look for it?

Amazing mod, a thousand thanks to the author! Perhaps, more units could be made available, such as the l'Ocean class Ironclad and Imperial Guard infantrymen?

Also, minor complaint: Imperial Guard Calvary doesn't work despite what I build. Also, ironclads and elite units still have their units cap applied. Hope for a fix soon. Thanks again!

Thank you so much, the levels of enjoyment i experienced i cannot put into words. I built a Warrior Class and wiped out 3 navies without losing more than like 23 men. and the best part is the 19th century riflemen appearing so early on in the game they mostly fight ashigaru. THANK YOU.

I will have to investigate that a bit more, but I seem to get crashes 100% of the time if I have artillery deployed (Armstrong guns). It happens after about 2 or 3 volleys then I get CTD. This is the only instance of ctd I had during my playthrough. Otherwise, the mod works as intended. I have several other mods, which could be an issue. This kind of ctd with artillery reminds me of another mod which had the very same kind of situation (mod for 100 pdr heavy artillery).

My Royal Marines make the bow shooting sound when firing. Any way to fix it? Also the range modifier for modern units is not apply. Could other mods negate this effect?

It would be so good if somebody could change the avalibility of fots units in Shogun 2. All traditional and modern units would be good, but I think that the Imperial and Republican ones would be too inaccurate. This whole idea is, but the Ezo Republic and the Imperialist faction didn't exist in the 16th century. I tried to download all mod editor, but they were outdated, I couldn't do it. Pls somebody help in this project! It will be so so amazing and tremendous if it comes true.

All ya need to change the availability for the units to appear in game for the faction that you wish to play is quite easy, use pfm and edit the building_units_allowed table, effect_bundle_to_effects_junction table and unit_to_exclusive_faction_permission_table

I have noticed a few problems that this mod brings. The enemy develops just as fast as you and dogpiles you with massed stacks before you can build up an army. Secondly for some reason you can't build artillery (or at least I couldn't) so your reduced to just foot troops, who can be cut down by elite melee units. You never get the time to build up the armies to need to curb-stomp your enemies before they defeat you.

I really have to thank you for making a mod that allows me to use massive ironclad steamships with tons of cannons against small wooden ships driven by oars and whose main method of attack is archers. I really appreciate it.

It's a graphics issue. The melee bonus is actually applied to units.

well, i see that "Socket Bayonet" ability in their description, i also have installed the bayonet mod, but still they spawn without bayonets both in the custom battles and in the campaign.
strange, because bayonets works for every actual FOTS clan...

You don't have to. Only socket bayonets needs to be equipped manually.
