Salute amazing job on this mod. cars are a absolute joy to drive. Small hick up when useing H shifter 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th after gear shift and back on the throttle it acts like for a split second like its not in gear , but wonderfull mod guys

still absolutely fantastic Mod. Only thing: you can change gear with H-Shifter without pressing clutch. Normally it shouldn`t be possible to insert the gear without clutch ... right? :)

Loving these cars, very well done! My only beef is the Sauber C11 skins are just a "default grey" Are there any skins for these?

Great idea but has some big issues. Some cars sound really wierd, like the Mazda. Sound cuts randomly out and the shifting sound choppy and not like shifting. The textures oft the cockpits are looking kinda mushy. The Physics are calling for some wierd camber angles and spring settings.

Currently working on skins for some of our drivers but struggling with a few of the files.

what file names are needed for the wheels to work in game?

I have used "WHEEL", "WHEELS", "RIM", "RIMS", "RIMS00" and a few of the "EXTRA" file names with no luck.

Rest of the skin files are working fine.

The wipers and rain effects are not working for the Porsche or Sauber. Mazda is ok.
Anyone else have this problem?

Great mod. Just one thing to bring to your attention.

This mod is trying to install these files besides the mod itself and they fail to install:

@Dongwoo Kang , i had this issue & deleted the player.json file & had no more issues but did have to resetup options which took bout 1 min :)

Just been using this mod on Sebring and with the AI at 97% (which we can comfortably beat in GTEs) they're about 9 seconds faster, is there some setting we need to tweak or is it just another case of needing a specific difficulty setting for this combo?

Really enjoying these cars...so much more drivable and believable than their AC equivalents. They don't seem to be BOP'd with the Mazda seeming to be a little quicker than the Sauber, with the 962 somewhere in between them. Fine by me as the cars differed IRL.

My only small gripe is the range of adjustable seat height in the cockpit view of the Sauber. I've tried adjusting the in game controls and even tried editing the values in the plyayer json file but I'm still sitting too high which is a bit of an immersion killer for me. Maybe something that could be fixed easily?

Nice mod. Sauber degrees of rotation should be as the other 2 cars, thus 540 and not 360!

Any Knowledge if you guys will be adding the rest of the Group C Era cars to the mod? like the Jaguar XJR-9/12/14, Peugeot 905, Nissan R91CP, Spice /E88P/E89C/E90C, Lancia LC2, Toyota 88CV/TS010, Etc.
This mod great so far but the field is rather flat with the mostly being 1 of 3 cars, I'd love to see variety in the field

The AI in rF2 is well known for this behavior, specially if you don't do the practive/qual sessions.
Tip: do at least the qual session (even accelerated), let the AI do some laps to "know" the track before jumping on the race. Also, AI is very track dependant - you can't simply put it on 100% and expect that they drive the same among different tracks. On some tracks, you may need to lower their skill to 90 or even less sometimes - otherwise they simply "cheat" because running on simplified physics.

The AI is way too fast. I always have to turn the boost fully on to remotely hold their pace and I'm a decent driver. Their acceleration out of corners is unreal. They behave like a modern F1 car. Car Model 5/5

For porsche and mazda have to reduce the ffb mult. from 1.0 to 0.65 otherwise clipping.

Love the mod...
For the Porsche... is there a way to disable traction control and abs? It is set to 1 in the car setup menu without a toggle option. As it is, get no traction loss with wing set to 0. Only time car looses traction is if tires are overheated.

Terrible AI, waay to quick, too much grip (they brake waaay later, 100% brake pressure, they never lock up, unreal grip out of the corners, they just launch themselves out). Fix this, very, very poorly made and it seems like I'm not the only one complaining. 2/5.

steering is way to inaccurate in the center. Feels more like a boat, not like a highend sportscar

Great mod. Concerning the sauber c11 the cars only have 3 numbers, #31, 32 and 33. but in the lineup there are numbers 34,35,36,37,38 and 39 ?

well iv tested it i let the ai do about a 45min practice with 4x fuel useage then set them to do a 30min race with 2x fuel to test. and once again the lead 3 962s all ran out of fuel about 22-23min into the race. was watching onboard the lead car the fuel warning light did not even turn on the car basicly just went from going fine to dying. cars that did this was the kunmitsu takahashi n10, the n17 derk bell car and the n38 roland ratzenberger car.

ah ok that makes sence. i did change a couple of the cars to the WSC engine but ya i was just confused since it only seem to effect some of the ai in 962s and not others plus this did not happen with the mazda or the merc. but thx for the tip and will give that ago when i next run these cars. hopfully will stop the ai runing out of fuel on the final lap.

Peter, be sure that the Ai complete some laps in practice before the race, that way they calculate the fuel for every lap. BTW the 962 uses the IMSA engine by default, unless you have forced them o use the WSC using the "tunning" option, however, both engines consume almost the same.

hello iv noticed a problem with the ai and the 962 when doing 45min races. some of them dont pit for fuel and run out just before the end of the race. this only happens with the 962. maybe its the cars with the wsr engine as iv been runing that myself and notice the estimated fuel for a race to be miles of. maybe this catchs out the ai which thinks it has enough to go to the end but dosent. besides that fantastic mod.

And its no matter of Turbo, i have read the (funtastic) manual ;), i am simply to slow :steamhappy:

For hotlaps make sure mixture or turbo boost is set to max. Anyway AI is very fast
