Probably you are trying to unpack a static gun that was placed or created mounted and then you are not able to pack/unpack. I've the same issue but I resolved giving the backpacks to the units and then ordering them pack/unpack.
Sometimes happen even that one unit, when unpacking, tries to pick more than one backpack.
And for this issue I still doesn't found a solution

Hey lads. There is a problem with static guns in both general game and antistasi map. For example squad is not able to pack or unpack 50 cal hmg, they still are able to use it though.
When i am using this stuff with antistasi, squads under my hc can pack static rocket launchers but they are unable to unpack it, saying that they have no proper "support". Does someone has an idea, what to do?

I use this as AntiStasi Commander alot. Best command mod for AS afaik great for creating hc groups regaining control of lost grps, getting stuck ais to work etc..

Okay seems the array system stll works for infantry units/squads. If yiu use vehicles a Tank Platoon for example it is broken. Bis seems to have broken all vehicle formations except of collumn. Thats why it is not working. Even in vanilla without mods a group of vehicles can not move in a line formation.

Is it possible to attach the commands from HC menus to waypoints?

For example command packaging / disassembling a static in a waypoint.
Or order a heli to land, wait for a while, fly away.

Or change assigned altitude between waypoints.

For some reason if I host a server using TADST and play a Liberation mission I can't place waypoints for any units. If I host a different mission everything is fine and if I host through the game then everything is fine. Any idea why this would be?

@TakeoverAsh900 do you have separate HC modules set up for each person? I had a mission setup one time where I had squad leaders with 2 HC teams under them but if no one was playing him he wouldn't spawn and the platoon leader would have direct control of his fire teams but it was a little wonky to get it working

i'm having problem setting up the mod i'm in game and have some squads that i spawned with Zeus but they don't auto add to the hc and i have to add them into my int then select them and go to the 5 menu and select create hc but after that they only give me set waypoint ,supports suppress(dosn't work)and the regroup the regroup dosn't work and the rtf when holding alt but none work all grayed out any help please

I think you are just under or overestimating the mortars range, because I dont see how this is a issue with this mod.

When I order artillery save for mortar to fire at coordinates it always says "Target coordinates out of range..." How do you fix this?

Still working for me. Turns out I just had to set the bindings. (Configure -> Controls -> Show: Commanding -> Open Menu 1-0) bam works

How do you select already existing groups. For example if I spawn in an AI squad in editor then play as a squad leader of a different team, the other team has a red marker over them and I cant select them.

This mod works fine in singleplayer, but in multiplayer it is only the host who can use the mod as intended. Clients can create HC groups, but have no options in the 1-9 menu's. The 0 Menu is visible, but nothing but the true/false settings works.

I had this working a while back but tried it again today and I cant get any of the menu options to show up, the only hing working appears to be setting and changing waypoints. I see someone else has had this problem recently as well.

Can anyone else confirm that this mod when used with ACE and/or CBA_3 removes the HC Bar and its functionality?

i have a bug, embark as crew not appearing for group if im as player embark and disembark vehicle or if any other group leaving his vehicle on battlefield, other group cannot take that vehicle as crew anymore

@Igitur: Thanks very much for the help. I have mastered the Suppression system now, i was not using the mouse scroll wheel and MMB.

I have established that the HC Bar does not appear (for me at least) if i have ACE and CBA_A3 mods loaded. This is a pity as most of the other mods i use require these both to be loaded.

Has anyone else experienced this conflict?

Thanks again, still lovin' this mod and i can live without the HC Bar to be honest.

@Seppuky : no idea, unless you're playing sth like Antistasi, which breaks everything but itself. Just select a group and hit your middle mouse button or 'Enter' to issue a WP. Make sure your MMB is bound to 'Use Default Action' in your settings.
@ObsceneNickname : I've tested Warlord right now and it works just fine as soon as I get a few AI under my command to create an HC group. As for the artillery : select the group(s), choose Fire Artillery (6-2-3), select the weapon and the ammo, select the burst with your mousewheel and left click on the map. You should see a red cross on the targeted position.
@Kampf_Freddy : Select a group and press LAlt. A new 'Suppression' entry will appear in the root menu. Point the Attack cursor on your targeted building and hit MMB or Enter. You should always see a HC Bar when in the HC mode, unless you're using some other mod that removes it.

How does the "Active Suppression System" work as well please?

Oh and one other slight issue? I don't seem to be able to get any HC Bar to display at all? I can only select units by clicking on their map icons or dragging a box etc. Everything else works fine but no bar along the bottom of the map screen with the unit names etc. on it?

This is quite possibly the best mod i have ever used for A3!! Its amazing!! Well done and thanks. Can you tell me if its possible to order a section of machine guns (3 x GPMG) to supress a building or area even if enemy are not visible there? What would be the sequence of menu commands and how do i indicate the target? No problem doing this with a section of 3 mortars but can't figure it out for MG section? Thanks.
