Having issues with zeus while ACE and HCC are loaded. The modules that get added to zeus by ACE appear to be prevented from loading. This also seems to break RHS categories from appearing in the unit / group categories of Zeus' GUI.

So wierd thing, if you don't add the modules that comes with this mod, zeus acts all funny and prevents some addons from loading. But if you have both subordinate and commander modules placed....all zeus addons work....

Version 1.5.5 - Sling loading.

Added :
6-1-5 : Sling load cargo : the command returns a list of the 10 nearest sling loadable objects in a 500 m sphere and picks up the selected one.
6-1-6 : Drop off cargo -> 1. At position : heli drops off at its current position. ~2. Coordinates : click on the map and drop off at coordinates.
6-1-7 : Cancel action : cancels current action (landing, sling loading, dropping).

When an HC module is not enabled in a missions, it will cause Achilles and other zeus mods to fail. Can it be repaired?

. Changed : Regrouping subgroups no longer cancels a 'Wait' order issued to the lead group.
. Changed : Issuing a 'Follow Me' command now does cancel a 'Wait' order given to the subgroups.
. Added a 'Tactical pace' entry in the group's speed menu. The selected speed mode can now be passed to the subgroups through the Chain of Command.
. Added a 'Automatic' entry in the group's speed menu. Subgroups in formation will automatically tend to adapt their speed to the leader's speed (unless too far from their expected position).
. Added a 'Dive in Depth' entry in the group's speed menu. Works either for divers or submarines.

This is fantastic - it extends all the basic functionality that HC should have came with out of the box.

I do have one request though - is it possible to add support for slingloading? Ie. Pick the vehicle the helicopter should sling load and then drop it off at another location?

@Machiya : Helis work just the same as the land vehicle shown in the first video (check at 1:50). The proper sync sequence is explained in the Enhanced Waypoints note just above.

@Roostergod : I've tried Achilles and MCC. They seem to work fine in SP and MP when hosted on internet. The modules are indeed greyed out when hosted on LAN though. No clue why.

Ok,and for a waypoint wich make the squad pack and unpack weapons,for mortar squad and stuff like that...Can be this possibile?

It is possibile to unload only a squad in a veichle waypoint,because when i try and set get out order for the squad i want to get out and for veichle i set unload,this will result in veichle drop every squad in that waypoint,also if i make a convoy squad,it is possibile to adjust that?That drop only the interested squads?

@ Dekker : 1. Make sure your 'open menu 1...10' are bound to sth in your settings. 2. Test the mod with the "Commanding" showcase. Some missions like Antistasi remove all EventHandlers at mission init and break everything but themselves. There's nothing I can do in this case.

Somehow, adding in ACE3 seems to make it work, I was able to give my coop budies their own ai squadmates and their own group, and since ACE3 has the option to become a squad leader (regardless of rank) the players can assume command if they're not initially selected as team leader. I'm still a bit confused between Positional and Directional under the "Follow Me" command, but other than that the mod works flawlessly.

I'm doing nothing specific to prevent what you're trying to do but the function is meant to give you HC control over the group you've created. So you're basically trying to HC control another player, and I'm not sure how Arma would handle that. Also, your buddy must be ranked higher than the other units to get the lead.

There seems to be a problem when creating an HC group with another player in it (MP), I wanted to give my coop buddy his own group with a few ai, but after the group is made the ai joins back to my group and he's the only member of the newly created group. (We're playing dynamic combat ops by the way).

Version 1.5.2 has been released.

This update aims at making the mod more streamlined and user friendly. It also focuses on large scale gameplay by making arrays more persistent and meaningfull.

Changelog :

1. Pre-definition of arrays : mission makers can now define arrays in their mission's init file.
2. Gameplay : 'Stop Following' is no longer mandatory to take back direct control over a subgroup.
3. Gameplay : the Regroup/RTF system has been reworked to better differentiate arrays.
4. I've changed the 'Vehicle Speed' menu to provide a wider range of controllable speeds.

Please read the changelog for a more in-depth explanation.

Mod functionality appears to be broken after the latest patch (LoW update). Any chance of an update? The 'move to high command' function is super useful and we've struggled to find similar functionality in a different mod.

Thank you for the reply Igitur, but you know what! I found the exact problem was that I needed to actually bind the "Open Menu" keys to somthing to have them open! lol! Apparently my "Open Menu" keys weren't actually bound to anything! Doh. Anyway this mod has totally changed the way I play the game now. Thank you again!

@brake_stand : a few users have been reporting the same issue over the last two years but I've never been able to replicate. I can only recommend to use the default keybinds for the menus and suggest to hit backspace when in High Command to display the general HC menu. You can then try to access the specific menus for your selected HC groups from there. And yes last time I checked (2 months ago) it worked totally fine with DUWS.
@Yuqi : LCtrl is not needed. Just click MMB on a WP to start/end the drawing.
@Iparkerzo : Vacant Groups are only available when other playable groups are found in the mission. I think I'll add a more general 'Add All Groups of Side' options for SP in the next update.

This mod seems like exactly what I've been looking for. But I am also having the same problem as AlchemicalWizard in that pressing the "menu" keys with an HC squad selected does nothing but de-select the squad.. I am trying it with DUWS Enhanced but another user said he was using it in DUWS just fine?

It looks like the SYNC-WP can not be set by line drawing. When i try to starting drawing line, the wp will follew my mouse, is this normally?

I've installed the mod, and i can tell it's installed from the extra options in HC such as the regroup and watch commands, but the menu's won't pop up after pressing any number keys on my keyboard.
