Hello.
I intend to clean up my Mods. Can anyone tell which are the essential Mods!
thanks
juanangel Mar 30, 2021 @ 2:56pm
Muchas gracias por tu mod de todos modos :)
12maskr Dec 10, 2020 @ 6:36am
it dont work
jimtduffy Sep 5, 2020 @ 10:55am
Just use the fourth option in surface painter to paint out the dirt under trees, guys. This mood seems not to be working but I get around the problem with painting out the dirt with surface painter. I cannot find any option on Hide It for removing it.
M1P4 Jun 17, 2020 @ 3:21am
It still works for me. No error messages either and I use an absurd amount of mods and assets.
Hippo May 5, 2020 @ 6:56am
@VTG1800 Hide it option funining ----> ⊙tree ⊙prop = remove dirt :)
think you TPB idead
Peter Lion Apr 8, 2020 @ 9:26am
Same problem here, Hide it! does not remove those ugly ass dirt patches under everything. should I uise this mod???? I hate those patches lulz
VTG-1800 Dec 29, 2019 @ 8:33pm
@TPB Hide it mod no option for remove dirt
Katalepsis  [author] Mar 28, 2019 @ 11:45am
Hide It! mod.
mikA Mar 28, 2019 @ 11:34am
is there a replacement mod
arkwaldr Feb 18, 2019 @ 11:56am
Thanks. I've just gone back to using nothing for now.
Katalepsis  [author] Feb 17, 2019 @ 10:39am
This mod is pretty much obsolete and superceded guys. Just use Hide It! instead please. I won't be updating this any longer.
Keallu Feb 17, 2019 @ 10:24am
arkwaldr: Use Hide It! instead. The "array index out of range" error is eliminated in that mod.
arkwaldr Jan 16, 2019 @ 11:53am
After hours and hours of trial and error I finally discovered that "Remove Dirt" is the source of my "array index out of range" error. Disappointing to have to give it up but am loading fine now for second day.
Leonord Dec 29, 2018 @ 8:36am
That mod can get rid fo several mods in my list. thanks
Katalepsis  [author] Dec 29, 2018 @ 7:12am
Yeah guys you might as well just use Keallu's mod which does the same thing as this but better since I dont have time to fix it right now.
Keallu Dec 17, 2018 @ 9:49am
KleinTimo: I have looked into network and building dirt. It's not as easy as with trees and props but I might give it a go again with Hide It!
Keallu Dec 17, 2018 @ 9:47am
Leonord: Try the mod Hide It! I have fixed the issue with array index is out of range.

Mod link: Hide It!
Leonord Oct 24, 2018 @ 7:37am
This mod is semi broken now. It interacts badly with surface painter and terraforming tools.

LIDL Aug 31, 2018 @ 11:26am
The most important mod there is many thanks
TTold_ Aug 30, 2018 @ 2:07pm
"Planned feature: Network/Building Dirt removal"
Since there still is no other mod for that (at least I couldn't find one), are you going to add this?
I actually find the dirt around the roads and houses to be pretty ugly. It ruines the clean picture of a green city. :c
Finwickle Aug 8, 2018 @ 12:37pm
@GordonDry: read the comments. You asked the exact same question in January 2016 and got an answer back then: "Yes that happens sometimes, should be harmless"
I got the same exception in the log and went looking for an answer.
GordonDry Jul 26, 2018 @ 10:53am
It seems to work, but:

Can confirm. This is still working for Parklife (1.10)
Th3_Jok3r_BR May 25, 2018 @ 8:08am
is it working with Parklife??
Tavuk Bey Jan 6, 2018 @ 12:42pm
is it working with the green cities?
unity Jul 11, 2017 @ 10:06am
Works great. Really hated the dirt. Wish roadside dirt could get removed too.
AquilaSol May 18, 2017 @ 12:03pm
Works fine with 1.7.0 and Mass Transit. :)
Berrante Mar 19, 2017 @ 10:57pm
Dont worry, we wait. Patiently. <3
Katalepsis  [author] Mar 19, 2017 @ 4:23pm
um, lol. Yeah those arent happening any time soon. I grossly overestimated my abilities at the time. Must update mod descriptions ;)
Berrante Mar 19, 2017 @ 2:27pm
Excited tosee upcoming features!!!! gogogogogogo!!!! Thank you boys!!!
lej_a7 Jan 27, 2017 @ 8:42pm
I can hardly wait for the upcoming features. The dirt about the roads and stuff look grossly unrealistic. Kudos on a great mod
Whaleski Jan 19, 2017 @ 6:15pm
super excited for this - Planned Features Network/Building Dirt removal. i cant stand the look with dirt around everything and its unrealistic. i dont know about evryone else but most buildings i see dont have a dirt outline around the foundation
Katalepsis  [author] Dec 1, 2016 @ 5:58pm
It only lags the first time you load a save that has dirt, once you save again, the dirt-less state is saved and should not lag again on subsequent loads.
BoxHead Dec 1, 2016 @ 5:32pm
I can confirm this is working with 1.6.0 update. Untested with Natural Disasters at this time. Will post again once I have tested with ND.

*Please note, I did notice lag during loading/start up after I added this mod for testing.
mattloveOHIOST5 Dec 1, 2016 @ 1:19pm
Does this work still?
Senatic Oct 8, 2016 @ 1:31pm
Works great for me. Can't wait for the update, hope it's coming along soon!
rsoyxihnark Jul 15, 2016 @ 9:02am
it doesnt work.
Baleur May 31, 2016 @ 5:30am
@jbug905 there is already a mod on the workshop that does this. Called something like "no rotten coast trees" or whatever. It basically disables the terrain effects of water etc.
ChrispyNut May 30, 2016 @ 4:36pm
Hey, thanks for your efforts on the mod.
A request, if poss/you decide to update the mod, could you add an option to disable the construction dust that's kicked up when placing items, it makes it hard to see small bushes when making into a hedge, so they end up wonky :(

Thanks anyway. :)
danizmax Apr 13, 2016 @ 7:52am
Mayor anoyance for me is dirt around buildings... looking forward to and update to this mod... good job.
agusingnavy Apr 7, 2016 @ 1:46am
@TPB (or @hyperdrive_engage), you now I hate the built in map theme editor ♥♥♥♥. I'd like to know if this mod, remove grass & sprites and terrain texture replacer have no issue yet. I think a few youtubers are using these mods (Strictoaster, Keralis) and are so simple to use. I'll try anyway. Cheers my friend. Be well.
Katalepsis  [author] Mar 23, 2016 @ 2:38pm
jbug905: I don't know how to do that but it's probably possible. As a workaround you can change the sand texture to whatever you want though, but then you'd have no sand on your map. Still, if you plan on just having swamps on your map and no sandy beaches this could be a possibility.
jbug905 Mar 21, 2016 @ 7:56pm
is there a way to remove dirt around water? like when the water floods an area the grass becomes dirt/sand?

Im trying to make a swamp but its not working because the water is making the marsh areas sand/dirt insead
LordofMemes Mar 19, 2016 @ 12:39am
YES. PLEASE MAKE THIS REMOVE DIRT AROUND ROADS AND BUILDINGS.
