A small mater that should not deter others from using it, if they know it only works with the Vanilla version.
However I need portable stuff as I camp travel and I do not like leaving stuff behind.
Real Life camping rule, If you packed it in, you pack it out.
Also I hate demolishing things as its a loss of resources.
Consequently a portable M&P and other such things are a must for me.
But for others, I imagine not so much.
As such, this is a good little mod that should not be too quick to passed on.
I'm playing SP b.t.w.
I have other mods running but no other food/morter mods
If the mod is a replacement, that would mean it's more basic then the Mortar and Pestle, or the related structure, and is being made as a new structure. If this is the case why would they just keep both structures, Mortar and Pestle and MODMortar and Pestle as two separate structures.
TL;DR Sorry for wall
Basically it should work with mods that mess with the mortar and pestle if not try my mod first in the priority list. If it still doesn't work let me know the mod so i can test and experiment, Thanks.
@Egyptian, thanks for the input, the way it's setup right now should just add onto the existing structures. If you know of a mod that mine doesn't seem to work with tell me. I'll can see if i can fix it. If it comes to it I'll make a new structure.
The only way my mod might stop functioning is if a mod that adds its own version of the Mortar and Pestle, which replaces the vanilla version, in which case the order of the mods might fix that. This is getting more into the tech side of making mods so I'll try to explain without getting anyone lost.
If the mod is an extension of the vanilla structure then it should inherit all the vanilla info and then the modder would make changes to it and replace the vanilla. In this case If my mod is before their mod it should be fine.
Can't you add a preservative or maybe a food vacuum packaging machine?
Vacuum packaged meat and berries last a lot more than 2 hours.
@Onyxheart Thats what these tests are for. Thanks for the input I want to make them an earlier and slightly easier to make substitute for jerky and the spoil time it to reflect that. you get more in a single bite but the spoil time is much shorter. It's more a fun vs realistic problem, if more people want it this way though I can change it
in fact the meat used in pemmican was basically jerky pounded into a fine powder, perhaps alter your recipe to reflect that?
