Take the source code provided for this mod, and the source code provided by Vikings Conquest, open up a file comparison application and insert the Vikings Conquest specific coding into Vexed. You'll see why I don't like merging mods hahaha.

I do want to clean up the coding at some point, but now I'm basically out of time to do that with college starting.

@PFC - You'll have to have the Viking Conquest source code, then you basically just merge both of the codes.

Star - I understand, the easiest way would be to edit the colors in TweakMB. Once you change colors, a new game is required to see the color change.

Shogun - I'm sorry, new job and going to college. My free time is screeching to a half for awhile. The source code is available if you'd like to though.

I have a game where I'm a desert raider so obviusley I'm fighting the Sarranids, the problem is most of my soldiers are sarranid so I'm getting a massive -95 moral for them and even though my party has 99 moral I'm loosing troops daily so I was wondering if there was a soloution wich allows me to continue fighting the sarranids, thanks.

That's weird, you may have a glitch in your save game. I didn't add custom troops, but that's a good idea.

The cheat mode was off and I still can buy troops from there, but only from the existing kingdoms, mine just says nothing. And I am quiet sure I had enough money. Unless they cost over 500k.

I am just wondering if its possible to make custom troops with this mod. Would be awesome.

How much denars did you have, Sam? You may not have had enough to buy some. Also, I believe the buying troops requires you to have cheat mode enabled. It's been a long time since I've checked the code, sadly. I want to get more added in the future.

I realized that you can hire any troop you want from tavern keeper including the lvl max variants of them all (its kind of op but I like it hehe). And I see a option to hire troops from my kingdom along with all the existing ones. When I click on it my dude just says nevermind and that's that. Is there a way to make custom troops because that would be super cool. Oh and also the bank account is op af aswell. The interest are just way too high. Anyway thanks in advance!

you know, Sir Dildor, you start your own kingdom by leaving/not joining a kingdom, then taking a castle for yourself. ata least thats how i have always started my own.

Does this mod change anything regarding rebelling against your king? Because I keep getting all the castles and towns i capture without the King declining. Because of this I cant start my own kingdom.

It makes a new folder and saves the games there. Tweak MB will work only if you select Warband and the "newest" version it has.

Hey NiftyPower! If you're into scripting, the script can be found in module_game_menus.py (I believe), search for the tavernkeeper and you'll find it (I do not have any of the source files on my computer right now). If you're looking for the regular file (menus.txt) in your Vexed folder, I'll have to compile it a few times to see where the changes take place and can tell you after that. It wasn't my script, it was on the Taleworld's forum and I only tweaked it a little to my liking.

How can I change the prices for purchasing troops from the tavern owner such that it way, and/or the cost of upgrading troops, such that it is more expensive to buy the troop outright than to train one from a recruit? I haven't done a formal calculation, but it does seem to be cheaper to buy an elite troop than to pay for a recruit's upgrading to elite troop status, at least for huscarls.

I cannot be sure to be honest. I've been wanting sliders in for adjusting things like that for awhile now, but it's a complex process that I have not really studied in-depth yet. I'm actually pretty amazed that there isn't a mod for vanilla warband where there is a menu to adjust everything like that..

I've been playing your mod for some time and it is really good as an plus mod though I was wondering if you are planning to expand the mod? Creating your own forts would be nice, as well as an interface to edit different variables (xp multiplier, mercenary group sizes, leadership bonuses, ect) would make the game even more customizeable and enjoyable.

@Codge, It's really only modding two numbers. Copying and pasting would probably take more time than to just modify the two numbers to be honest. All you have to really do is search for the line

(assign, "$g_player_party_morale_modifier_food", 0),

and the 4 and 5th line below that are the two numbers you'll want to modify. Module_Scripts.py of course. I think I'm understanding your question.
