He got so bad he went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the Feds decided that best idea was to get rid of him so they set up a special room to kill him, as inhumane as possible. And he sat there in agony for hours until he died. Now every week on the day of his death he returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00 a.m. He creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by pegging you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen: sorry man i am not taking the risk

It's absolutely hilarious to ask for examples of other peoples work so that they can take over a project that you have no interest in. Ridiculous.

Ty for all the hard work you did, i never tried it due playing on friends severs 99% of the time, but respect your hard work. Pics look nice,and the back story was wonderful, i truely hope someone/group with both skillz and respect to your work picks it up. And as the saying goes "you can always come come back". Last, TY for being a modder that comes back and at the very least to tells tell us what is going with the mod, shows character imo:D

I am working on a map spotlight video series. I will plan to add this one to my list. Not sure when I will be able to get it doen but hopefully i will get to it soon, or as soon as I can!

Perhaps I was being a bit overzealous with my last remark, if you are really interested in inheriting the headache just send me some of your work and I'll consider it.

@Jordi La Forge Fair enough, that wouldn't be me then. I am not a beginner, but I am not an expert. I do have 20+ of software development exp, but that isn't the same thing :D Sad because I see so much in your map that I love and would like to see completed. You on discord (ark or otherwise) or spend anytime in the Developer Discord channels?

I'd be willing to pass on the project files, but it would need to be to someone who can show me they really know what they are doing. I've overwritten ton of base functionality, and in order to pick up where I left off they would need to be very famliar with both ADK and UE4 itself. Even if I never finished it I did put a few hundred hours of hard work into it and it would hurt to see a beginner try to complete it.

@Jordi La Forge any chance you would be willing to let someone else work on the map, help or even take over? I would love to do any of those if you wouldn't mind.

This isn't being worked on really at all anymore, although I still have the project files. TLDR is the Ark modding tools are very unstable (last I checked), and I havn't even played the game in over a year so not much motivation. Sorry guys!

I think if I were the devs, I'd be spending my money on crafters that demonstrated the ability to complete projects. I dunno if you're seen the list of projects that received support this last time, but it's like a who's who of unfinished maps.

Yeah that's all I can do at the moment. Unfortunately Patch 255 came a long time ago and still no fix.

An unfortunate product of early access, at least they patch often so keep your fingers crossed for a fix.

Np, things like those just hit my eyes and I must say it out loud. I love the map, been testing it in my singleplayer. Getting really tired of ARK though due to patch 255 breaking this game completely for AMD users mostly.. I play 10-15 min and I crash :(

Things went very well, once I get all my Zelda out of the way I'll likely be restarting full devlopment.

So I heard that mods are getting sponsored now, and $4k a month is definitely enough for me to put the timeinto this map again. Redowloading the SDK and we'll see where it goes from there...

this map is fucken awsome , alot of flat surfaces to build on . can build big bases easy with no fucken headaches. best map in ark .....

Well I have just try the map and I didn't see bug/texture on the land, she's simple but can be cool with more biome and mod
Now problem than I found:
1) We don't have the map on the card, it's complicated for expedition
2) The part Sud (like 1/3 of the map) is completly inexistant ! No dino in land and ocean + ocean bug texture and glitch (we can cross the map)
3) Big incredibly spawn of Pteranodon and Argentavis (sometime Quetzal) "on the Sky Island" who fly everytime for rejoin the land like a migration ! They have OP level like (200 at 450)
4) No biome except a little biome swamp in the Nord (I think but not sure)
5) Dino aren't really present sometime you found a little pack of herbivor (1 paracer + 1 trike + 1 parasaur + 1 gorilla + 1 pachy + 1 turtle)
You need to make more biome/dino + corrige the bug for the ocean and the bug spawn flyer on the Sky Island !

Although, I always thought the barrier was a particle shield, which itself would not be affected, instead of an energy shield, which would be affected. The particle shield would explain the behavior of the barrier in game, just keeping stuff out or in, instead of an energy shield, which would deflect objects instead of just stop them. To disrupt the particle shield, they would need to aim at the shield generator itself, which would be, in my oppinion, under the central mountain. (I thought the Founders, the name I gave to the aliens(?) who built the ARKs, would be smart enough to create the barrier strong enough, if it was an energy shield, to resist even an extremely concentrated EMP burst from the oblelisks, but maybe not. )

The backstory though! Even better than some I think of!

there are Questz on the Island in the sky and there were Ptera's as well. I've tamed a level 600 after using a bit "Quetz"

†THExUNKNOWEN†, the dinos are the thing that makes ark special. PLUS they will make them act like real animals when they are ready to release.
