The team coloring was definitely a concern when texturing this item, here's a reworked color scheme based on 'The Ball Buster' that should make team identification clearer: http://imgur.com/iFcMv

Too much green, makes it hard to tell what team he's on. Very distracting. A good model, but needs a different colorscheme.

maybe make the checkers lighter and darker Team spirit instead
