Where exactly is the file nowadays? Anyone know in 2025? I found my Maps folder, in Steam-Steamapps-common-Civilization V-Assets-Maps

Is there a G&K version of this? The other Game of Thrones one is buggy, keeps the normal civilizations with the character names :|

hello,
it's my first try on your mod, i have two problems, one of my dragon were killed when i cross the sea because he take the boat who are very week, why the dragons can't fly over the sea? and second problem, i've got a prophet and i found a religion but all the icon were selected by others civilizations, the game ask me to selecte one but it's impossible... i can't play this party anymore.
but the mod is very fun!

Great mod! Am having playing the Free Folk though. The Crannogman unit (upgrade of Bannerman) is not available as it says the unit requires the Crannogman Building, which I cannot find anywhere in the buildings list. Am I missing something or is this a known issue? Thanks.

I have the same problem as @TheLastCrusader, everytime i look at the in-game mod folder the winter is coming to civ mod is nowhere to be seen and like him I would like to ply conquest of westeros, but unlike him the same happens for the deluxe version so I can't play that either :'((

@nokmirt i have trouble downloading this mod,i subscribe to it and it does nothing,cant find it in mod folder for civ on in maps.Newer version works fine but i need this one to play Conquest of Westeros any idea how to fix this? any help would be appreciated

Check out 'Conquest of Westoros' new map http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=736748692 , it is made under contents required from this mod. Therefore, please do not delete this mod, I see it as the most stable Ice and Fire mod in Civ V.

Please do not delete this mod, I have subscribed and tried the 'deluxe' one and there are still slight differences that made me to stay with this one. Namely, the special units longship, bannerman that focus on Seven Kingdom Age etc.

Hey nokmirt, please don't delete this mod. While it may or may not be obsolete to the other one, some of us may enjoy using it still.

@punkdrood Hi man. Subscribe to Winter is coming to civ deluxe. Characters work fine in it. I may delete this mod because it is obsolete now. @Stannis if we could find a good artist we'd love too.

Hi Nokmirt I am still trying to use this mod on a second computer but I have got a bug. I put the map in /maps and the modinfo in /mods but when I choose the map in Mods and load the scenario, I am still viewing the "classical" characters and not those from GOT,, why please ?

Could you guys please change the way the units look like? That would be awesome. I've seen many greate GoT mods but none of them had changed the look of the units.

@sazooki I had the same issue. I don't remember exactly what I did, but I managed to fix it. Just try fiddling around with it for a while.

can you make an option to go past the renaissance era?

Broken mod. Followed instructions perfectly, blank screen when trying to choose civs. Starting as random (only option) gives one of the defaults.

@nokmirt Both mods work fine now, scenario included. So it was a conflicting mod, I just don't know which, so I have 'em all disabled for now. Figures I'd figure it out AFTER posting a comment. XD

when i go on a city like astapour and am dany i cant build any of the special units like unsullied or whtever just comes up with cannon , musketmen or what ever . Do i have to download somet mate

The scenario froze everytime when pressing begin your journey button (same with every other GoT mod), since I was always starting with Robb Stark. Then I chose other leader and it did not freeze. So to be able to start with Robb you have to choose other leader and then back to Robb, and it works.

I have did everything you said but still the westeros map does not appear :(

@WolfBloodRei it could be. Conflicting mods could be a problem. I think I only use info addict with it.

@Irish I never noticed them stuck at level 3. This is interesting.

@nokmirt When I select the map and then try loading the scenario, it automatically crashes. A Mod of Ice and Fire did the same thing before, but I have fixed that since leaving my comment, so I think that this mod should be able to work now. It may have just been a case of conflicting mods, so it was just a mistake on my end.

@Wolfblood you should not have a starting settler. The game should be played with the map provided. I have not tested it otherwise. So, I don't doubt it crashes.

The moment I click to start after loading scenario and choosing my leader, the game crashes. Similarliy, if I start the game regularly with the civs, the game will crash as soon as I tell my starting settler to make a city. o-o

go to mods, then click next and at the top of the window showing installed mods click single player.

I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I'm not able to see any characters when I try to choose my civ.

Hi, if I start a new game with this mod the game freezes right after I click 'begin journey'. Any idea why this is happening?

Issue:
When WhiteWalkers (Barbarians) plunder a trade route it lists them as Barbarians instead of WhiteWalkers.

The longships for the iron islands aren't showing up as ships, just normal pikemen, how do i fix this ?

Great mod. One question, how do you get the custom map to show up? I only get the standard map options. Not sure if it makes a difference but I am using Civ on a Mac

If no civs show up, then here's how I fixed it: Don't remove the modinfo file from it's original place, copy and paste it. There needs to be a modinfo file IN the mod's folder

so how do i get them to show up?
