There used to be a 40 mod limit, else the models of units would turn grey/disappear. Hopefully they fixed that

I have 72 mods on as Rome,there is no 35 mod limit.You have a mod conflict some where.

It is suggested that the author revise the shock cavalry data in Rome. The armor damage and shock are too low, so it is not as good as the auxiliary cavalry. Are you sure this is called assault cavalry?

@beard - usually if you use more than 35ish mods, I've noticed assets like faces from chararcters disappear. For me, I've looked to prioritize which mod is really needed and try to keep it under that magic number, or look to consolidate the mods by installing it yourself rather than via beta launcher :)

Are you sure it isn't another mod that is doing that because this mod does nothing to Carthaginians.

Hey, I'm running into the same problem that Greasy is! When I have this mod enabled, for whatever reason Carthaginian - that's right, Carthaginian not Roman - units are extremely bugged; generals are missing arms, torsos, the colours are all messed up and without contrast... I'm trying to reinstall the game, but so far it hasn't really worked. Do you know if it's perhaps a load order issue?

I uninstalled and reinstalled game and now they all work fine, thanks sorry for any confusion.

Hello, I use alot of your unit mods BlackSea,Carthage and Iberans,Gallic,Nomads,Parthian and Pontic have used them for years and they work great. nothing but love here, I just wanted to let you know Merc Warfare,Epirus,Balkan,Greek,Iceni,Successor Kingdoms,Suebi and last but not least Roman all cause units to disappear and seem not to work for me. I went through each mod one at a time loaded the game and looked at custom battle, deleted mod one after another and can confirm the top ones work and bottom ones do not, thank you, keep up the great work.

I have updated the mod now so that volones have a significantly lower AI quality value. That means the AI now thinks they are much weaker and should recruit less.

Wonder if a volones-less version would ever be possible, problem is that AI recruits only them instead of hastati
