Well, this could atleast be added as a Cow Mangler reskin....come on Valve!

If the BFG was added to TF2 as a new weapon rather than a reskin, i would think that it could work really well as a heavy weapon, because: 1. It's the BIG FUCKING GUN, 2. It would create a new play style for heavy, and 3. Heavy is bulky, strong and able to tank blows like the slayer. Overall, yeah just put it in the game.

I like the doom reference but it covers the head to much and the rockets or what ever they are are off and doesnt come out of the middle like the original that is also in the middle of the screen

Man I had this mod before I found this and it's epic as hell!

Direct upgrade from the Cowmangler because it doesn't have team colored Particles, or at least it would be if it wasn't a center firing launcher like the original

That might not be too hard. I'll download the mod and see if I can mess around with it that way. No promises but I'll see what I can do.

oh that's super sad to hear. I love this mod and I'd appreciate if you made a version that just kept the other effects if you aren't willing to update the model (which currently seems to be the only thing broken.)

Specifically it's been broken for ages. And it broke again right away in the next update after the last fix so we're basically like "screw it"

I no longer have the source files (got lost when my old computer died), and I realized that updating the mod to continue working is an uphill battle. TF2 is one of those games where even a minor update can completely ruin some mods. And even then the changes to sv_pure means most people can't use it.

tldr it's not worth it to me to maintain it. I'm sorry.

hey it may be just me and my computer but everything works except for theactual texture of the BFG. it just shows a cow mangler shooting green balls at my waist
