Do they require more power to run?
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 12. juni 2020 kl. 19:52
Good to Know
Loxnol 12. juni 2020 kl. 16:21
It's still working and it's veryyyyyy powerfull !!:steamhappy:
ThePuddinatorNF 18. maj 2019 kl. 0:06
does this still work
Legion 27. juni 2017 kl. 21:45
Could you make them 1x1 even if the cost quintuples
dRuPpI 20. juni 2017 kl. 19:12
are you planning to update the models / textures to SE beta style?
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2016 kl. 12:19
yeah all good, its actually originally made by Keen ;)
Zader64 3. dec. 2016 kl. 13:15
Can i use this model for one of the mods im working on

Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 27. aug. 2016 kl. 23:31
yeah il get one done soon :)
Anach 27. aug. 2016 kl. 21:56
Great idea. Give a lot more flexibility. Any chance of a 1x1 set with half the bonus of vanilla for confined spaces?
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2016 kl. 2:43
XPL Cython has made a mod to use refinery and assembler in the suit ;)
nomadicbrain 28. juli 2016 kl. 18:43
A suggestion for a mod i haven't seen yet, A refinery made of raw stone and assembler made of only ingots so its possible to start from a suit.
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2016 kl. 21:39
yeah il do it :)
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2016 kl. 21:39
oh so a super fast refinery that yields terribly ?
Borker 30. maj 2016 kl. 14:46
It was a suggestion for you. lol
Try making a mod where theres a special refinery that refines down resources really quickly into ingots but you get less.
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 30. maj 2016 kl. 14:25
i hope it goes well :)
Borker 30. maj 2016 kl. 14:12
I got an idea for a new mod.
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2016 kl. 7:41
Update - Rebalanced

each module is approx 2:1 the value of a vanilla module and you can have twice as many of them so using all ports on a production block would result in a 4:1 ratio
Snøfler 29. apr. 2016 kl. 0:26
How is it coming with re-tweaking the modules?
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 19. apr. 2016 kl. 11:52
well see
Snøfler 19. apr. 2016 kl. 11:35
So there is something to be fixed?
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 19. apr. 2016 kl. 9:00
fyi when i do fix these i will balance them based on vanilla blocks not mod blocks.
Snøfler 19. apr. 2016 kl. 8:22
Update again. It is actually 1118% vs 760% on the factory, no idea why its 500% vs 540% on the vanilla refineries. Something does not make sense.
Snøfler 19. apr. 2016 kl. 8:18
Well... seems I compared these with the multi upgrade modules, but they still seem broken.

All my figures are with fully (8 slots) upgraded refineries, in the format "Vanilla vs Modded" :
Productivity:
500% vs 1540%

Effectiveness:
200% vs 724%

(Power) Efficiency:
500% vs 540%

As it seems right now, the power efficiency modules are better, but not near what they should be.
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 18. apr. 2016 kl. 20:59
I will look into it, this wasnt the case before. thanks for letting me know somethings changed.
Snøfler 18. apr. 2016 kl. 8:39
A fully (vanilla module) loaded advanced assembler gave me 1118% boost in power efficiency, but one fully loaded with these only gave 760%. Shouldn't these give more since the production control component costs so much, it says advanced and they use more space?
afetogbo 2. jan. 2016 kl. 20:30
I would like to use this but I would like them to give 1/3 that of a vanilla module. Attaching a vanilla module to 1 port gives you 1/2 the power of the module and this little guy saves on space but gives less power.
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 29. dec. 2015 kl. 21:52
G menu ;)
Baron 29. dec. 2015 kl. 15:31
Where are these upgrade modules located as I never used upgrade modules before?
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 9. dec. 2015 kl. 3:48
OK
Cthulhu 9. dec. 2015 kl. 2:01
OP
Tommy Smith 16. nov. 2015 kl. 11:28
Your model is Keen-based? I thought it was yours?

The ports themselves could be used from Small Ship modpack .
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 16. nov. 2015 kl. 0:28
Only if keen ever releases a version of the model for small ships :(
Tommy Smith 15. nov. 2015 kl. 14:50
Is there any chance of making your module available for small ships?
Houstonruss 6. nov. 2015 kl. 12:03
@Visentinel 1100%+ effectiveness on advanced refineries! I guess that's worth something eh? It took finding like, 2 plat veins, but now each vein is worth 10x what it was.
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 6. nov. 2015 kl. 7:08
Because they are called Production Control Component
g_BonE 6. nov. 2015 kl. 5:54
Why do the added components show up as "productioncontrolcomponent" in my LCD screens?
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 6. okt. 2015 kl. 7:23
hehe i tried doing a fresh start in my world mod setup and allot of the stuff iv made was definitely a week away.
Houstonruss 5. okt. 2015 kl. 16:01
That's why you think it's so cheap for you, Haha! You've been on the same world for hundreds of hours. I only have 45 hours on my current world.
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 5. okt. 2015 kl. 1:02
a few times iv found deposits that i remember bragging to freinds in-game when i found them, biggest haul was almost 50 million plat ore, lol took my refineries almost a whole week to refine (and my world is set to 25x refinery speed plus 6 industrial refineries which themselves are 15x refine speed ontop of that, the server runs 24/7)
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 5. okt. 2015 kl. 1:00
wow i guess some people really do get unlucky with the ore deposits, i have almost 500,000 platinum "Ingots" just my collection in my survival world iv been playing for about 4 months now.
Houstonruss 4. okt. 2015 kl. 18:42
That's depends on the world, asteroids, and RNG. A whole deposit could net you upwards of 300k, and if you're lucky maybe over 2mil! The price however, still makes them kinda impractical !
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2015 kl. 20:20
lol isnt 65k worth of any ore like really really really easy to get ?
Houstonruss 2. okt. 2015 kl. 20:17
You need thousands of ore per ingot though ;D
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2015 kl. 20:08
its 675 plat per set of 45 production control component's

i just went through the mod and confirmed the math, its impossible you needed 65K worth
Houstonruss 2. okt. 2015 kl. 14:33
Actually, after processing 65k plat ore, I can finally afford 1 module! :steamsad:
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2015 kl. 11:27
somewhat yeah or if you stumble across a huge plat deposit :)
Houstonruss 1. okt. 2015 kl. 11:12
I suppose they are more exculsive to endgame. ;D
Visentinel  [ophavsmand] 30. sep. 2015 kl. 21:52
I mean i play survival almost exlusively and at the moment iv got nearly a half a million plat just sitting around i have no use for at the moment, this game if anything needs serius resource nerfing.
