Clean saves are incredibly important when you swap in and out mods. If you don't clean save, you can end up getting bugs. Because the previous mod data is loaded and some portions of it are operating like the old mod, even if you put a new mod in.
You need to remove an old mod, load Skyrim and save a game without the mod. Exit Skyrim, put the new mod in, then load it up. This is generally how clean saving works and helps prevent bugs. Though the easiest way to prevent bugs is;
Stick With Your Load Order, from start to finish with a game. Make a Tes5Edit Merged Patch + Make a Bashed patch using WyreBash for maximum stability. This is what I do. Nothing enters my game, nothing leaves my game.
And when I'm going to release it is, I don't know. Not in a week at least. I'm taking a break for the moment and trying to play a game to some length.
I can lead you through some attempts at diagnoses.
Go to your console and type; help "sin7"
You should get a lot of return data, concerning global variables and the status of quests.
The value on "Sin7_Counter" should be going up as you level. What is the current value?
Second, type "getqr <name of Sin7 Main Quest here, it will be listed in the console info above>"
This will return values, 0 tells you it is not running. 1 tells you it is running.
