its set in the UK, I've purposefully left the region generic so any stock can be used.
John Marston the Rancher Oct 22, 2021 @ 5:38pm
Any idea what county this railway is meant to be set in? You did make the route after all
Warwick Rail Aug 19, 2021 @ 9:47pm
Here is a list of all the workshop scenarios for the route.

@Trainz1905 Sounds great! I'll keep my eye on the workshop :)
Trainz1901 Nov 21, 2017 @ 11:48am
Cool, I was thinking about doing a scenario where the line is closing done (since It looks like that either way) And an excursion train is going up to the Colliery for people to look around and possibly buy the old Austerity's and battery engine(cause small shunting area next to sheds connected with turntable).
TrolleyFodder  [author] Nov 20, 2017 @ 10:49pm
@Trainz1905 sure thing! No need to ask, Its an honour :)
Trainz1901 Nov 20, 2017 @ 7:41pm
Is it possible if I can publish a scenario for this route?
TrolleyFodder  [author] Jun 28, 2017 @ 2:32am
@Schuey Well, theres a sale on at the moment, so you might be able to pick up the DLC much cheeper than you would normally, so I suppose its good timing :P
Girth Control Jun 28, 2017 @ 2:24am
Dam, I was hoping you wouldn't say something like that xD
TrolleyFodder  [author] Jun 28, 2017 @ 2:23am
@Schuey Both technically, Maerdy is used for the track and some scenery assets, and Western Lines of Scotland is used as the base for the route for textures and most scenery assets.
Girth Control Jun 28, 2017 @ 2:19am
What is more important? Memories of Maerdy or the Western Lines of Scotland?
TrolleyFodder  [author] Apr 1, 2016 @ 5:11pm
@[CRP] Casey Thanks :D I'm glad you like it
Casey_Victoria Apr 1, 2016 @ 3:21pm
Very nice route! And excelent music choice too!
TrolleyFodder  [author] Mar 20, 2016 @ 4:24pm
@mark.exley The track is wobbly to simulate poorly maintained track to fit with the theme, as for the issue with the 'track break', I can't update the route anymore as it is now set to final, which prevents me from adding anything new or fixing issues sadly.
thomas.exley Mar 20, 2016 @ 8:30am
just before the viaduct at ridwick you can only go a couple of MPH otherwise derailment happens. it looks like some sort of track break? Can you fix this?
thomas.exley Mar 20, 2016 @ 8:25am
Why is it so wobbly? lol
TrolleyFodder  [author] Mar 19, 2016 @ 3:53pm
@mark.exley I used the track from the 'Memories of Maerdy' pack, one of my favourites to use :)
thomas.exley Mar 19, 2016 @ 11:23am
What track did you use? it is so wobbly!!!!! lol :-)
DJ Spicey Pigeon Dec 24, 2015 @ 6:45am
I think this route, plus the heritage route would be perfect for a railway series.
TrolleyFodder  [author] Sep 7, 2015 @ 6:19am
I've now fixed the Quick drive issues (hopefully), and you now have the ability to make scenarios for the route and publish them on the Workshop. Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with :D
DaveHaych Jul 30, 2015 @ 6:49am
ps Thanks for all the hard work and generosity in sharing it
DaveHaych Jul 30, 2015 @ 6:48am
Really enjoyed this route...so atmospheric. One crying need for a fix is to have workable points at the Leder Colliry end of route ...so a run-around for up and down working is possible (Not to say the least that all QD consists I've tried are pointed to the buffers!)
TrolleyFodder  [author] Jul 25, 2015 @ 6:05am
@Chris Thanks for the kind words, it would be possible, but it may take a few weeks/ months to do so. I'll see what I can do :)
chris Jul 25, 2015 @ 5:33am
very good route indeed. Would it also be possible to make this route as if the Dr Beechings funding cuts haven't happened.
steffs885 Jul 22, 2015 @ 12:54pm
What a great video and that beechings what a clawn he was.
TrolleyFodder  [author] Jun 30, 2015 @ 7:02pm
@wobblyTooth Thats out of my control sadly, it needs a certain amount of ratings (I think above 20) for it to get switched to final, as its the way the steam workshop works.
WobblyTooth Jun 30, 2015 @ 11:39am
Hi, is it possible to make the route final so I can publish the first scenario?
WobblyTooth Jun 28, 2015 @ 8:07am
Thanks. Will do
TrolleyFodder  [author] Jun 28, 2015 @ 7:29am
@WobblyTooth Of course you can :) Let me know when its done and I'll give it a go.
WobblyTooth Jun 28, 2015 @ 6:02am
Can I make scenarios on this route for Steam Workshop?
TrolleyFodder  [author] Jun 21, 2015 @ 1:24am
@diesels if the demand is high enough, i will definately extend it (and fix some bugs i found)
diesels Jun 21, 2015 @ 12:30am
Just curious. Is this the final state of the route by the way, or do you have any plans expanding it?
(I might save a copy for myself to edit some very minor things, such as lower speed limits here and there)
TrolleyFodder  [author] Jun 14, 2015 @ 1:30am
@diesels thanks :) I'm glad you like it
diesels Jun 13, 2015 @ 11:48pm
Yes it's Quickdrive not freeroam I was talking about, obviously, but you got that:) Did a full run now, lot of fun, one of the best there is. A keeper
TrolleyFodder  [author] Jun 13, 2015 @ 5:46pm
@diesels thanks for the feedback :) I can't figure out why they're facing the wrong way in quick drive. I'll have another look and see what I can do :)
diesels Jun 13, 2015 @ 12:05pm
Looks very good, I like this kind of routes. One little thing, I think the freeroam arrow faces the wrong way, it starts towards the buffers instead of the other way, sp you can't get very far (unless you are in a DMU or light enige)
AllyourKitty Jun 13, 2015 @ 6:35am
Nice little route and thanks for sharing.
Beanzi Boi #TF2SP Jun 10, 2015 @ 10:45am
looks amazing!
TrolleyFodder  [author] Jun 9, 2015 @ 5:53am
Hey guys, I'm not sure why Steam thinks the route requires the Norfolk Southern Coal District route, as I haven't used any content from it. Odd...
