Hey! I'm liking the map, but the barbarian camps definitely have something wonky going on with them. Other than seeing a bunch being placed right next too each other, they don't seem to want to spawn many barbarians at all. I started China and saw about 5 or 6 camps around me, and with the Barbarian mod I have, they all eventually received Great Generals of their own. I honestly thought i was fucked! Then I noticed they never spawned anything, untill I failed to kill the last one in one wave with my army. It pooped out a barbarian before dying, so it seems the spawn rates are turned down really low for some reason... This part of the intentional thing?

I've noticed that as well. I'm not really sure why thats happening.

Small misunderstanding I thought it was odd that no new barbarian encampments spawn after you clear starting ones.... not that there is empty map. New barbs should spawn as long as there is room for them

Its intentionally supposed to be that way in the region the Mongols are in. Other parts of the map are a lot less empty.

I am thinking of restarting with just map and my favorite civs . One thing I have noticed with the scenario is that no new barb encampents are appearing since they were cleared out in classical age. still lots of empty space on map now late reneseince era seems odd.

@Kennethsw: Feel free to mess around with the map and add your own nations instead. Forcing a scenario to use certain MOD civs though make it inaccessible to those who don't want to use those civs, or really people in general since the scenario would be geared to a bunch of specific mod civs instead of normal civs.

You can always run the map without the scenario, and have randomly placed civs as well with your custom civs that you want to use.

Ok the map itself is excellent so far playing as khan so started in far east desert, good resources only into mdeivel aera so far so much to explore yet very big map. My only problem is that since it is a scenario I am stuck with the original leaders bit bored with them like to use custom leaders and civs only running a couple of small mods unlimited barb experience works fine and a couple of new modern unit mods mech antiair and tank destroyer and a few others have not gotten to them yet. Overall great map voting it up.

OK got it to work . It has been a long time since I have seen that little load scenario button under the map missed it. Will let you know my first impressions after played for awhile maybe tommorrow

I'll post this in the description as well, but once you have the map in your maps folder, you still have to go into mods to run the game with the scenario. So, go to mods, don't select anything (unless you have a mod you want to run with it), then find the map, select "load scenario" under the maps name and you should be good.

moving map from mods to map folder allows me to play the map but just the map. The 16 civs 29 citystates did not work only played a few minutes but the first barb I saw were normal from your description I thought it would be preset starts.

you may have to manually find the file in your mods folder and place it in your maps folder. First upload here on the workshop, but I don't see why it wouldn't show up in the maps list after activating it...

downloaded installed and activated but does not show up in map list . Am I missing something or is it just not working.?
