would you be able to tell me how you make changes to the DLCs because every time I try the creation kit crashes.

Bonemold weapons can now be salvaged with the appropriate skill. Salvaging of DLC armors will be in another mod to come.

New update! Bonemold weapons are finally here! Also some bug fixes.
El_Tres  [author] Feb 6, 2016 @ 5:07pm
You could easily change the perks to be like that though if you wanted in the creation kit.
Loreknight Feb 6, 2016 @ 5:02pm
awww :(
El_Tres  [author] Feb 6, 2016 @ 4:07pm
If the perks are on the tree by themselves then it will conflict. If the Dwarven smithing perk has 3 extra levels.. (looks like Dwarven Smithing 0/4) Then it won't.
Loreknight Feb 6, 2016 @ 11:53am
It adds 3 new perks onto the tree
El_Tres  [author] Feb 6, 2016 @ 12:46am
No it wont conflict with this mod as long as it doesnt change the tree and just changes the perk.
Loreknight Feb 5, 2016 @ 9:22pm
I have this mod called engineering that basically lest you craft dwemer constructs at forges, but it adds 3 new perks to the smithing, so will it conflict with this mod?
CENTURION Jan 24, 2016 @ 10:22am
thx

If you have the chitin smithing perk, You take chitin plates, mudcrab chitin, or chaurus chitin to the tanning rack and break them down into chitin pieces, also you can salvage falmer and chitin gear at a tanning rack to get chitin pieces. If you don't have the perk you can still take mudcrab chitin to the tanning rack and break them down into chitin pieces.
CENTURION Jan 23, 2016 @ 6:42pm
how do i get chitin pieces
El_Tres  [author] Jan 20, 2016 @ 5:51pm
Added a smelter to falkreath in latest patch. Will be looking into ways of improving this mod, I hope to get bonemold weapons done at some point, I lost most of my graphics files in my last computer upgrade.

I have found some load order compatability problems with my Skyrim mods.. If you have a mod that changes the weight of objects in the game, such as "Lighter Supplies Materials ETC" or "Weightless Gems" please load that higher than my mods as my mods have extensive reworking of the same items. Thanks.

Just a thought on somthing you might add to this mod if possible. that is a single mod that allows you to reforge weapons and armor up to +5 in any catagorie of smithing. Just so long as you have the required 2 identical items and the correct smithing skill to do so.

YES... YES....

Many Bugs have been fixed in this latest update. I still need to finish the Bonemold weapons, but Axe and Battle Axe are now available. All Dark Brotherhood armors should all be upgradeable now, let me know if there are any bugs. Thanks.
El_Tres  [author] Jul 24, 2015 @ 1:00am
yes I believe nightingale armor is effected. not sure about dawnbreaker. I need to look at the special armors more closely when I get some time to work on this.
[REDACTED] Jul 19, 2015 @ 12:18pm
perks*
[REDACTED] Jul 19, 2015 @ 12:18pm
also does dawnbreaker benifit from any new oerks as well?
[REDACTED] Jul 19, 2015 @ 9:30am
if not do you know f a mod that does this
[REDACTED] Jul 19, 2015 @ 9:05am
hey, jut wondering if the nightingale armour and weapons beneift from any of the perks added with this mod
El_Tres  [author] Jun 10, 2015 @ 12:36am
Ok well the bug probably happened when I changed the perk tree.. I can change the conditions to allow tempering(what they call upgrading) for specific items so that isnt a problem.. i just need to know exactly which items.
Karliah the Nightingale Jun 9, 2015 @ 4:07pm
It isn't the first because I've upgraded the armour before, and it can't be the second because I only have this smithing mod downloaded
El_Tres  [author] Jun 9, 2015 @ 5:48am
well if you dont have my mod anymore and it still happens it means either the original game didn't allow it, and I forgot to make it possible, or another mod is conflicting. The first case seems more plausable since they were very lazy with the crafting system.
Karliah the Nightingale Jun 9, 2015 @ 4:31am
Shrouded Armour both Anchient and Regular. (I have every armour set and weapon set available to me so I'll check back with a longer list. Additionally I've since deleted the file and the issue perseveres.
El_Tres  [author] Jun 9, 2015 @ 2:28am
Can you tell me exactly what type of item you are having problems with? That would narrow down the search.
El_Tres  [author] Jun 9, 2015 @ 2:27am
That might have to do with the tempering recipes having the wrong conditions..(which I perhaps forgot to change.) I will look at it and fix it soon. My apologies.
Karliah the Nightingale Jun 8, 2015 @ 1:04pm
@El_Tres I like your attempts (in principle) but sadly in practice it doesn't work, I'm level 100 with the magical smithing perk but I can't improve some magical weapons or armour because th game thinks I lack this perk (the only perk I lack is the Stalrim perk)
El_Tres  [author] Jun 4, 2015 @ 4:45pm
Its possible, but might need to be scripted. I'll have to look into what Fallout New Vegas did with their time lapse and see if I can replicate it in Skyrim.
The Shrekoning Jun 4, 2015 @ 3:22pm
Actually, if there was even a mod that made it so one hour elapsed upon exiting crafting, regardless of how many items were crafted, I'd be happy. But obviously one that scales based on items crafted would be more realistic.

Thanks again
The Shrekoning Jun 4, 2015 @ 3:21pm
I am looking for a Smithing Mod that makes it so game-time elapses when you use crafting apparatus. I shouldn't be able to craft 100 iron helmets in 00.00 time. I am not saying I want to sit and watch my character craft for hours on end, just something like "wait" or "sleep" wherein time elapse when I exit crafting based on the number of crafted items.

Thank you 1000x if you make this happen or know of a mod that already does this!
Vault_Boy321 May 31, 2015 @ 3:25pm
That's just the way this system is.
bread May 30, 2015 @ 1:30am
NOOOOOO!!!! D:
El_Tres  [author] May 29, 2015 @ 8:31am
Nope, you lose the perk point if you don't have the mod anymore. One of the bullshit things that comes with modding with the bugged out editor they provided us with.
bread May 28, 2015 @ 4:15pm
Hey guys. PLEASE ANSWER THIS IF YOU HAVE TIME or IF YOU'VE BEEN IN A SIMILAR SITUATION. I invested in one of the perks, but I decided I don't want this mod anymore, so if I unsubscribe, will I get my perk back or will it disappear forever?
Vault_Boy321 May 26, 2015 @ 5:46pm
Ok I hope that you get better because I really like this mod so far I'm gonna recommend this to my friends.
El_Tres  [author] May 26, 2015 @ 4:18pm
I should have Bonemold weapons available in the next few days, But I'm having problems with my eyes so might need to take a break from modding for a little while.
Vault_Boy321 May 26, 2015 @ 3:10pm
I can't really seem to find that many bugs when I'm playing, but anyways I would always like to see a mod get better in any way possible!
El_Tres  [author] May 25, 2015 @ 7:07pm
Still working the bugs out, thanks for your comment Not-Exert.
Vault_Boy321 May 24, 2015 @ 7:37pm
Why is there only 1 comment from somebody that's not the author? Anyways great mod!
El_Tres  [author] May 21, 2015 @ 6:36pm
Just updated, Chitin weapons are now available to craft.
El_Tres  [author] May 19, 2015 @ 7:53am
Thanks.
