Working hard on new map, will try to improve them. It's also going to be quite a lot larger in size than the maximum "huge" level. Hope your computers can handle it but I just felt like I needed more canvas to play with.

I added a dropbox link if you want to try manually installing the map. Not entirely sure if it'l work with just the map file but give it a go. Make sure you uninstall it before going into multiplayer or anything.
How do you not have a my games folder? It should be in Local Disk/Users/(you)/Documents
So basically my documents.
Swanky Sweden described how to get it working in the comments below, I don't really have any idea why steam doesn't automatically put the map in the right place.
Thanks for trying it out! The indonesian luxuries were unintentional for this workshop version of the map, I put them on the map for my own playthrough, they are accessible if you settle a city on top of the resource which can save on tile improvement costs and space.
I'm sorry about that natural wonder double-upping, I should have kept record of what I was doing but it took a fair amount of time and I was just sort of paying attention to a small area at a time.
If you want I can try to update the map and mellow out those wonder problems any anything else you have in mind, just let me know.
I found some of the Indonesia luxuries scattered around the map. This may be intentional, but it should be noted that they cannot be improved, and so are relatively useless.
Also, I found it a bit of a shame that some of the natural wonders doubled up. There may be balance reasons for it, but I don't really like the idea of having 2 Sri Padas or Mt Sinais.
Otherwise, fun map!
Yeah Steam workshop and Civ 5 have been known to hickup while attempting to work alongside one another, what I do is subscribe to the mods in the workshop here in Steam, and maybe if Steam's feeling up to it it'l download a "workshop items" update for the game, other times magic invisible downloads happen while I'm looking at the mods list in-game, it can be awfully complex.
I keep a backup folder for all of my mods and just copy them back into the actual mods folder every time I launch the game, ignoring what's still there, since it isn't unusual for civ to delete some of my mods on its own every now and then.
I started off by looking in the MODS folder, but it wasn't there. I've tried redownloading it 2 or 3 times, but I might try again later.
No idea why its that complicated, I just made the map and followed a few tutorials on how to publish it. Thanks Sweden for clearing up what needs to be done, let me know if you like the map.
I'm not sure what it's called in game, it may be something like CXU1 or something, I used that when I was testing it but give me a few moments and I'll try and find out for you
The map looks really Nice but i can't seem to find it in the Map menu :/ whats the map called in game?
*ahem*
I also play Civ primarily for the role-playing and concept of ruling a nation. It's why I mostly play on lower difficulties, despite having played the Civ games for almost five years.
Looks like an awesome map! :D
