"This mod is outdated. Unfortunately I cannot find the original files for it so I have no way to update it. I'm sorry :("

Then remove it so that more and more people are not mislead!
starmind 17. apr. 2019 kl. 0:25

Oh how I wish there were an update :(
kris220b 6. juni 2017 kl. 14:34
Currently when walking down the stairs, they act as if they have a way larger hitbox, same for going up, where you cant get up on the stair when starting from the buttom, and you fall trough it about 2/3's up'
French_Bread 3. feb. 2017 kl. 11:10

Lvcian 18. nov. 2015 kl. 20:36
Oh I guess we can let it slide this time....BUT NEXT TIME! (lol well no hard feelings, sorry to hear about all the lost work; it's done when it's done) Thank you no matter for this mod!
MMaster  [ophavsmand] 18. nov. 2015 kl. 15:13
yeah Lvcian I'm sorry. I didn't have too much time to work on my mods since I reinstalled my computer and lost all the settings and modding stuff. Unfortunately I can't promise any time to have it done because my real life job is just crazy and modding took away all my free time in the past so I had to slow down. It's hard to support many mods :/
Lvcian 18. nov. 2015 kl. 11:49
Where is them smaller square types at? You've hads that on there for sum time
JWA 16. sep. 2015 kl. 12:50
Ya this really makes more sense for small ships, we don't have much like that. Need like a 1x1 ladder for the side of fighters and a bigger one for shuttles and such.
bloody death 1. juli 2015 kl. 7:04
hi if u cant think of any other mod to make here is an idea you should try to create a ladder that can go up and down i dont if u can because i dont know how to make mods
ʀɪᴋᴀ 27. juni 2015 kl. 23:32
How long to wait for small ship version? Do want.
Lvcian 26. juni 2015 kl. 23:50
Yeah, two blocks out and two levels down! That or possibly even larger than that to turn these into access ramps for entering/exiting a ship when planet side, that was my thought process
Kranyolsu 16. juni 2015 kl. 11:02
any way you can make one that extends 2 blocks verticly?
Avelius 2. juni 2015 kl. 5:40
Small ship?
MMaster  [ophavsmand] 31. maj 2015 kl. 2:45
UPDATE: reduced mod size significantly.
MMaster  [ophavsmand] 31. maj 2015 kl. 2:45
@Jay I will look at it.
wOoki 29. maj 2015 kl. 21:12
cant stack the floor x 2 stairs one after the other, for some reason at the top of each set I cannot walk up to the next stairs, have to use jetpack.

UPDATE: DX11 Support & Block Groups
MMaster  [ophavsmand] 28. maj 2015 kl. 11:22
@Critor oh I missed your comment. I will look into it.
Critor 18. maj 2015 kl. 17:51
@MMaster - Hi, Great mod. Is it possible to make the stairs so that they dont collide with the next block at the top of them.
I am using them with my transit system, so when the vehicle pulls into the station, i want the stairs to extend out to meet the train edge. At the moment the stairs are damaging the side of the train every time they extend.
MMaster  [ophavsmand] 14. maj 2015 kl. 11:11
@Tek wow. that's interesting find. I didn't even think that airtightness would work on them in any reasonable way. so current stairs do not make too much sense in that case. I would still have to think if it is even possible to do it in that way because the movement of parts is hardcoded, but I would really like to fix it for existing stairs too. That would unfortunately break all existing designs using stairs as new stairs would probably be upside down. hm... I will have to think about it. Maybe if I will be able to fix it as you suggested I will release new airtight version so people can stop using this one and use that one but it will still not break designs using this version.
Tek 14. maj 2015 kl. 8:37
Awesome mod!
I've run into only one design-problem so far: If I use floor-stairs upside down for stairs that unfold from the ceiling, I get funny results with the air-mechanic. When I lower the stairs I end up with airtight open stairways, while retracted stairs -that are smoothly integrated into the upper floor- leave me with air-leaks.
Could you add a second set of the floor-stairs which are closed when retracted and open when unfolded?
Shmebulock 12. maj 2015 kl. 11:38
NICE! Good job mate
Fluffy Owlkins 5. maj 2015 kl. 2:40
Absolutly AMAZING!!! IS it possible to make a metalic one as well? Love the utility the flat/stair x2 one gives, going to be using that one a lot
Korvatus Klok 3. maj 2015 kl. 18:11
Please hurry on the small ship version. I need it for the entry ramp of my small ship gone large

Coooooooooool... :O
aether.tech 30. apr. 2015 kl. 12:48
I don't care about walking on them - I use them as giant folding doors.
MMaster  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2015 kl. 11:57
@aether.tech 45 degress is max that you can walk reliably so 1x2 would not work, but I'm thinking about making 2x2 but it will take a while. Try to use retractable glass bridge if you want longer glass doors.
@S.T.E.V.E. :D thanks!
UltraEmailMan 30. apr. 2015 kl. 11:01
seems like I've seen this before...
Parboleum Loyce 30. apr. 2015 kl. 10:48
Can i kiss you? I've been waiting so long for a retractable stairs mod!
aether.tech 30. apr. 2015 kl. 10:29
I use these as big ass doors for my hangar. Works great! And looks really cool when two rows of about 20-25 close up together! very nice ... how about, an even longer version?!? or a 1x2 (1 wide, 2 tall)
MMaster  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2015 kl. 10:22
thanks for support guys!
btw. it's written in description:
How to figure out orientation:
Only first stair can be attached to surface. Try to rotate the stairs to figure out which side is not attaching - that is the side that will be extended.

@Delta07 I'm not sure how ramp would look like .. the leafs can't rotate, they can only extend in one direction so retracted ramp would look weird.
@TheRealLazybum just rotate it upside down and it extends down.
TX 30. apr. 2015 kl. 8:22
Man this one lookes like crap, like who wants glass...
J/K, its beutiful man.

Perfect add on to a glass "ship" i wanted to build :)
TheRealLazybum 30. apr. 2015 kl. 5:59
im with Delta it is hard to tell but i need a floor that extends down not up and it not there :(
delta07™ 30. apr. 2015 kl. 5:49
also would it be possable to get it more "ramp" like instead of stairs ?
delta07™ 30. apr. 2015 kl. 5:24
im having an issie telling how some of them extend like the wall. i put it on the wall i cant tell if they are going to extend upwards or downwards
