there is afew on ck3 all called mercenary kings but outdated the newest and most up to date one is Universal COntracts and FOment revolt mod togethers as one mod

Oh my bad I thought you meant this mod, not Landless Adventurer. Yea you're right you get a titular duchy and the ability to spawn troops via event in certain areas (Constantinople, Paris, and Baghdad). The landless mechanics in that mod (and the Landless Courts and Kings, for that matter) are really well thought out and work so well, especially for a mod that literally breaks the rule about being landless. Ik the mod developer of Landless Courts and Kings said he wanted to be able to make becoming a mercenary and forming your own company an option in his mod, which would be cool and something that could possibly be done looking at the mechanics of an updated version of this mod

Excellent mod so far.

However:

1) The game crashes when pressing the title flag in the top left corner by the character portrait.

2) Perhaps it is too easy to acquire a holding? If you are allowed to borrow the money from jewish merchants you can purchase a barony right from the start, and that takes the challenge out of it, I think. You might want to raise the necessary cost significantly and/or introduce another requirement, such as being allowed by the county holder to buy it.

3) When unlanded, most councillors can't be assigned missions. Obviously you need land for your steward to harvest taxes or to oversee contruction work. But otherwise, it would be great if there was some place to put your assigned councillors.

Please keep up the good work. It is a much needed and very enjoyable mod.

How hard would it be to tweak some of the bands? To change things about troops or succession.
For example, the Pictish Host's troop numbers don't scale super well as time goes on.
Also, would it be possible to make other playable bands use the Elective succession system the Pictish Host uses, rather than Open Elective? Or even changing the gender succession laws?

Just did one solo, and I did get some gold, and I THINK my prestige increased despite not showing up in the results screen, so I think the answer to my question is "yes?"

Is there a benefit to fighting in sieges? I notice the results screen doesn't show any prestige gain, and so far the money gain seems to always be zero.
