A great mod, I had forgotten I had this installed and went to go, place and sort all of my books in Solitude. This mod saved me several hours of placing, organising, and reorganising!
Everything is so neat and organised, I love it!

Thanks for the mod, highly reccommend it for anyone who likes to keep a lot of books for aesthetic reasons, the RPG hoarding that always happens, or future reading.

what have u got planned next for this mod pack line ?
Gol Zin Viing Jun 25, 2015 @ 5:59am
Again NP Blunt....with all the references to " Argonian Concubines" made by some Nords it's a wonder at times this DB doesnt JOIN the Dragons so he could have them EATEN OFF....They can thank their Divines that he is a lil more patient with the LESSER RACES.....

The Mod is still great reguardless hopefully adding it to the Hearthfire homes wont be Aa major deal (just build a library tower on the house)......so far Ive only built one house this game (lakeview) and it has a library tower....I'm gonna start on Hejerlachen soon but havent decided if it will have a tower.....Lakeview at least is a comfortable environment......the other 2 locations seem much to cold.
Bluntaxe  [author] Jun 25, 2015 @ 5:39am
@Gol Zin Viing - The reason is, if you make a mod that adds entries to the purchase list, it will over-ride any expansion or mod that you don't include support for in your mod. So because this mod doesnt include hearthfire support (being the vanilla version), it over-rides the "buy a childrens room" entry
Gol Zin Viing Jun 25, 2015 @ 3:08am
Something Ive noticed....in any of the HOLD homes Ive bought when I buy the library I dont get the option to get a kids room whicj would be fine for my PC,,,,since he is Drachis Argonian he'd want to protect his children from rude hairy Nords ( and the Guardsd at Lakevieww keep their mouths SHUT and stick to buisness)....I suppose the real reason is each house can only hold so much.
Gol Zin Viing Jun 22, 2015 @ 6:14am
@Shadow....The Thalmor embassy has a rather large library.....:)

@Blunt ....Hope your Studies are going well....I also Hope you will make a version of this mod ( well both this and the Blacksmith mod) for the Hearthfire homes.....I have Dragonborn but haveremoved it from my game as it really doesnt add much to the game and CAUSES mod conflicts with some other mods I use.

This mod inspired me to go on a book stealing spree across Skyrim...

11/10

@david - Click subscribe on this page. Then, start skyrim from your library and wait for the launcher to appear. Once the launcher has appeared, leave it alone until the text at the bottom says "Finished synchronizing subscribed mods". Then, click 'data files' and make sure that this mod is ticked. Once thats all done, just run the game.

@Bluntaxe On how to activate the Mod
Bluntaxe  [author] May 23, 2015 @ 4:07pm
@david.c.wilson - Are you wondering how to activate the mod itself, the library in a specific house, or the sorting system once you've made it appear in a house?
david.c.wilson May 23, 2015 @ 3:22pm
@Bluntaxe I"m a bit confused on how to activate it and yes I did read all of the information, do I go to the main Menu ?
Bluntaxe  [author] May 13, 2015 @ 5:41am
@smitedcox78 - Those are not errors that i've heard anyone else experiencing, I also tested for them thoroughly before releasing the mod. The problems are possibly caused by mod conflict? or due to your having DLC activated?
Frost78 May 13, 2015 @ 3:22am
I have a issue, in solitude after buying the scholar's library it will not allow the living room to be built. Also in white run it will not allow the alcamy lab to be transformed into a bedroom for a child. Can you fix these issues in a patch?
Bluntaxe  [author] May 4, 2015 @ 3:17am
@mafia - yes you can, regardless of the house
Gol Zin Viing May 3, 2015 @ 11:19pm
@Mafia I have both in Honeyside and HAD both in Breezehome ( sold it back to the Jarl)
Peter May 3, 2015 @ 3:45pm
Can You Have Both This And Your Blacksmith Basement Mod Working Together In The Same House?
Gol Zin Viing Apr 24, 2015 @ 7:50am
@Blunt...Glad to hear it....Another Creator ( who shall remain nameless) that created another truly useful mod has decided to make his a " pay" mod....I cant trll if the person is serious or Joking but being a person of EXTREMELY limited $$..I find their humor somewat laacking and distressing.....If need be I'll simply delete that mod.
Bluntaxe  [author] Apr 23, 2015 @ 11:52pm
UPDATE - I am NOT intending on changing this to a paid mod. Everything currently available under this mod will remain free. I will be releasing a paid mod in future that incorporates this mod, blacksmiths basement, and further updated features. I do still intend to release a patch for this mod that will also be free
Jelly Apr 9, 2015 @ 4:49am
@Bluntaxe Thanks for the reply! :D
Bluntaxe  [author] Apr 4, 2015 @ 6:16am
@nihiLignator - This mod will work with any combination of the DLC, the only drawback is that you wont be able to access the hearthfire specific content once I add it.
Gol Zin Viing Apr 4, 2015 @ 3:03am
@Blunt...Broke down and bought ONE home in a hold....Nords make my PC's scales crawl (shudders)....it is to be hoped that when you return to working on these mods that there will be a hearthfire version that only requires Dawnguard at the most and of course that they are linked ( the Libraries at least) My PC bought Breezehome because it's closest to High Hrothgar, and Lakeview.....that library is filling up and looking impressive.....Same goes for the Blacksmiths basement.

@Nihi...at the Moment only the Hold homes have Libraries nut this mod will work if you have Hearthfire.
Jelly Apr 2, 2015 @ 11:10pm
will this work if i only have hearthfire?
Gol Zin Viing Mar 24, 2015 @ 9:06pm
@Blunt....perfectly understandable Studies do take a considerable amountg of time and effort....Would it be possible when you do return to this that you could make a version that only requires Hearthfire?I have all 3 DLC's but I have been having Mod issues with Dragonborn and have removed it from my system....Same with the Blacksmith version please.
Bluntaxe  [author] Mar 15, 2015 @ 2:14pm
@BAPACop - Im not currently doing any work on my mods for the next month or so (uni started up for me a fortnight ago).I'll put it on the list of things to address however.
Too Much Violins Mar 14, 2015 @ 3:39pm
If using Book Cover Skyrim (the basic version, not Lost Library), the books appear on the shelves upside-down. Would a patch for this be feasible?
Bluntaxe  [author] Mar 3, 2015 @ 10:58pm
@Blargurded - I will be adding that section to my basement mod somewhat shortly
Blargurded Mar 3, 2015 @ 7:26pm
could you make something for alchemy or is it already in the works?
Bluntaxe  [author] Mar 2, 2015 @ 3:10am
This seems to be a consistent issue despite it not showing up in testing, i will be looking into it within the next few weeks. I'm actually not sure why it occurs for the moment. Sorry i can't help more
Cyravehl Mar 1, 2015 @ 11:37pm
Slight Issue, taking books from the Library is classed as Stealing!! Why?

I need a book called "Chimarvidium" (or something like that) for the College of WInterhold. Although the note I was given gives me a location to get it, I had one on my bookshelf. To save time, as I was headed back to the College I figured I take that one, and replace it later.

But after Reading the book, the option is Steal, not Take. It's MY book, on MY shelf, how is that Stealing?
Bluntaxe  [author] Feb 28, 2015 @ 3:20am
@pschanuth - it is, unlimited bookshelfs only interacts with the vanilla bookshelf system, this mods shelves are entirely different
†¤Erik51324¤† Feb 27, 2015 @ 9:32pm
Finnaly, a mod that allows for my book collecting habbit.
z22y Feb 26, 2015 @ 5:39pm
Is this mod conpatible with unlimited bookshelfs?
Bluntaxe  [author] Feb 26, 2015 @ 5:18pm
No, although there are plans in future for it to effect treasure maps and possibly journals
kaher44 [UN] Feb 26, 2015 @ 5:16pm
Looking forward to using this, your blacksmith basement mod is awesome. Only worry about using it right now is it will sort certain "permanent anchors" items that I use for permanent thralls since moving them out of your inventory can cause some to lose their permanency effects. Does this mod affect journals, treasure maps and notes too?
[LTMD] Alexstarwras123 Feb 26, 2015 @ 2:53pm
@Bluntaxe - okay thanks for the info
Bluntaxe  [author] Feb 26, 2015 @ 4:46am
@Alexstarwras123 - Yes it will, but you won't see some of the upcoming features (like hearthfire support), despite owning hearthfire.
@Brezlon - The library doesnt include books that come from storyline quests, within the games code they are kept as a separate series. I could have included certain books if I wanted, but I had to draw a clear line of what was and wasen't to be added in the collection. I'm considering adding a separate library for questline books and dungeon journals, however in the meantime id recommend using the vanilla bookshelves for the books my library doesnt include.
[LTMD] Alexstarwras123 Feb 25, 2015 @ 8:17pm
does it work if you just have 1 of the dlc's like hearfire?
Loutripioute Feb 25, 2015 @ 5:33pm
THANKS A LOT !
bruhsalad Feb 25, 2015 @ 4:15pm
These mods are as fire as daquans mixtape.
=EndOfToon= Feb 25, 2015 @ 4:15pm
@Bluntaxe: Concerning Vdarkcharlie's inquiry, does that also include both un/signed cookbooks?
Bluntaxe  [author] Feb 25, 2015 @ 3:39pm
@vdarkcharlie - if you bring another copy of a book that the library already has, it will automatically place the book in the "extra copies" chest which is always located nearby. Only one copy of each book appears in the library itself
vdarkcharlie Feb 25, 2015 @ 2:49pm
Excellent mod. Can you add multible copies of the same book to the library? If so, will the library get over-stocked to the point that no new books can be added? Thanks and good work.
Pepe Feb 25, 2015 @ 2:17pm
Thank god finally someone did this.
NorthStrider Feb 24, 2015 @ 1:37pm
Now if only the books stood up right. *Sigh*
76561198059951009 Feb 22, 2015 @ 7:04pm
Nevermind its working. They're like shopkeepers I guess and you cant buy house upgrades during the night
76561198059951009 Feb 22, 2015 @ 7:03pm
I can't pull up the menu to buy the library upgrade from Proventus. Is it because my house is fully upgraded?
