Description
=========

Scholar's Library adds a functional library to each Vanilla player house. This library automatically sorts and maintains a collection of each world book that the player brings home.

The Library can be added to each of the Vanilla player homes by purchasing it from the applicable town's steward (Whiterun, Windhelm, Solitude, Markarth, Riften).

To open the automatic sorter menu, activate the orb near the library. The first option 'Add New Books' will automatically take any world books from your inventory and add them to the collection. The second option 'Clean entire library' will reset every book currently in the collection to its correct place on the shelves.

Each Library is linked, meaning that any book a player adds to one player home will appear in other player homes when the automatic sorter is next used in each location.

Other BHM Mod

Please check out the other mod in this series, Blacksmith's Basement, which adds a system for sorting and stocking crafting materials. - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=387689664

Future BHM House Mods
====================

The BHM Mod Series is a set of 2 mods, both intended to provide players with an automatic inventory sorting system that physically displays the items being sorted.

The first mod in this series is Blacksmith's Basement. This mod creates a linked basement that is accessible via each player home, and provides automatic sorting and display for -
- Crafting items such as ore/ingots, soul gems, dragonbone and gems.
- Alchemy Ingredients; (future update)
- Cooking Ingredients; (future update)

The second mod in the BHM series is this mod, which focuses on the display of collectible items. This mod will eventually include a number of other collections which can be chosen in a modular fashion -
- The Scholar's Library (Already available)
- Mask/Claw/Insect Jar display shelves - These shelves will be linked between player houses.
- Treasure Hunter's Map - A world map that automatically stores the treasure maps from the players inventory, while providing clues as to the general location of each treasure. As above, this map will be linked between player houses.

I would eventually love to tackle daedric artifacts, weapons and armor, however such a project would require skills outside of my immediate skillset (A Modelling/Texture artist), and as such I am reluctant to commit to anything.

Support & Donations
================

Developing this mod series is a lengthy and time-consuming process, made more difficult due to my full time studies. Should anyone wish to provide me with financial support, any assistance is greatly appreciated. Donations can be made via the nexus using the following link (donate button in the top right) - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62918

Should anyone wish to provide more general support, rating the mod here, or endorsing the mod at the nexus (using the above link) is always of great help.

A great mod, I had forgotten I had this installed and went to go, place and sort all of my books in Solitude. This mod saved me several hours of placing, organising, and reorganising!
Everything is so neat and organised, I love it!

Thanks for the mod, highly reccommend it for anyone who likes to keep a lot of books for aesthetic reasons, the RPG hoarding that always happens, or future reading.

Again NP Blunt....with all the references to " Argonian Concubines" made by some Nords it's a wonder at times this DB doesnt JOIN the Dragons so he could have them EATEN OFF....They can thank their Divines that he is a lil more patient with the LESSER RACES.....

The Mod is still great reguardless hopefully adding it to the Hearthfire homes wont be Aa major deal (just build a library tower on the house)......so far Ive only built one house this game (lakeview) and it has a library tower....I'm gonna start on Hejerlachen soon but havent decided if it will have a tower.....Lakeview at least is a comfortable environment......the other 2 locations seem much to cold.

@Gol Zin Viing - The reason is, if you make a mod that adds entries to the purchase list, it will over-ride any expansion or mod that you don't include support for in your mod. So because this mod doesnt include hearthfire support (being the vanilla version), it over-rides the "buy a childrens room" entry

Something Ive noticed....in any of the HOLD homes Ive bought when I buy the library I dont get the option to get a kids room whicj would be fine for my PC,,,,since he is Drachis Argonian he'd want to protect his children from rude hairy Nords ( and the Guardsd at Lakevieww keep their mouths SHUT and stick to buisness)....I suppose the real reason is each house can only hold so much.

@Shadow....The Thalmor embassy has a rather large library.....:)

@Blunt ....Hope your Studies are going well....I also Hope you will make a version of this mod ( well both this and the Blacksmith mod) for the Hearthfire homes.....I have Dragonborn but haveremoved it from my game as it really doesnt add much to the game and CAUSES mod conflicts with some other mods I use.
