One of these mods is causing no resource deposits at all to appear in my game. Anyone know which one?

What MOD is used to be able to see the map fully without the darkness or fog of war?

Can we make a list of non-mac/non-linux compatible.

I guess this should be called the Mk. 1 pack
JustWilhelm Jun 23, 2015 @ 10:04am
Sorry. It's just a bit annoying when things never work.

Anyway, I got things working with the help of the debug panel and now I have an A.I. battle royale game running (albeit without Chile, Gran Comumbia,or Argentina).

Thank you anyway.
TPangolin  [author] Jun 22, 2015 @ 10:47pm
Civs work properly when they're installed. You need to read the instructions regarding manual installation.
The map includes way more than one map, are you sure you're using the right mod?
Colonialist Legacies civs are taking a break from this pack because of obscure errors that show up in the civ descriptions.
No idea how to fix the missing city bug, I think that's a problem with individual mods.
JustWilhelm Jun 22, 2015 @ 12:32pm
Why don't some of the civs work?
Why does the map only consist of ONE map?
And why are some civs MISSING from the pack?
How do you fix the missing city bug?

So many questions... AND NO ANSWERS.

I need answers to this...
christian Apr 25, 2015 @ 4:27am
Seeing plenty of people reporting the issue with missing city names, anyone know a proper fix for this? I have removed the Qin Dinasty and North Koreas as Civs as per Kobazco's suggestion and downloaded the patches from civ fanatics, but no city names when starting a game. .

So - any good ideas? About to read through the 94 page thread on civfanatics now...

Does EUI work with this? I seem to get annoying UI glitches.
SuperPershing1945 Apr 4, 2015 @ 9:01pm
@LegoLink11 For some reason, whenever you found a pantheon while the ingame editor mod is enabled, then it crashes. There are two ways that I know of to get around this bug.

1. Set your civ's faith to 0 using the ingame editor. That way, you will never have enough faith to found a pantheon, and thus you will never be forced to found one and crash the game.
2. Exit out of the game session, then reload it with the ingame editor disabled. Then, found a pantheon, quit out of the game again, and return with the ingame editor enabled again.

Hope this helps.

For some reason, it crashes when I choose a pantheon. I assume it's because I have no cities, but is there a fix to this?
Et snobrød Mar 31, 2015 @ 3:06pm
Which of these mods will work on Linux?
baldspot360 Mar 30, 2015 @ 10:49am
Game crashes every time I press play
Kobazco Mar 25, 2015 @ 6:21pm
Well I fixed the issue by disabling my mods 1 by 1. I believe I am not currently using Isreal, the Ayyubid, and the Qin. The issue started appearing after I manually added the Qin starting location to the Ynaemp. I would rather not re create the issue but just imagine having a city without the name bar over it
TPangolin  [author] Mar 25, 2015 @ 6:00pm
Can you upload a screenshot?
Kobazco Mar 25, 2015 @ 5:32pm
Sorry let me be clear cause i see that i wasnt my last comment sucked xD. After adding in support for the Qin dynasty, upon loading a game and finding a city you are unable to see the city name, production or population thus making the game unplayable as you have no way to acsess the city name.
TPangolin  [author] Mar 25, 2015 @ 4:44pm
Not sure what you're talking about in particular - sorry.
Kobazco Mar 25, 2015 @ 4:11pm
TPangolin, any idea how to fix the city name missing? I eventually got it to work but that was after deleting all of my mods and re-installing civ V and even then it didnt work until i disabled a bunch of my other mods.
TPangolin  [author] Mar 24, 2015 @ 5:14pm
@Herbivore - It's really simple - just choose your observer civ, reveal the map using IGE, then delete your settler and give yourself some Nuclear Subs in the Arctic. All you have to do from then on is click Next Turn!
Kobazco Mar 24, 2015 @ 3:39pm
Alright people, heres the deal. EVERYSINGLE ONE OF THESE CIVS HAVE PATCHES FOR YNAEMP EXCEPT FOR THE QIN AND NORTH KOREA. If you go to the Ynaemp OP like TPangolin said, you can find patches for everything to work excluding North Korea and The Qin. When I manually tried to get them working, the names for my cities disaperead as Tom Bambadil said. Just play with normal Korea and China. Also the Patria Grande patches are for Chile, Gran Colombia, Argentina, and the Inuit testing and it all works.
Ball-Stabbing Emmanuel McCoy Mar 23, 2015 @ 8:15am
Hey, could you make a small tutorial on how to set up an all AI game? I'm a bit confused as to what to do to get it working right, thanks.
TPangolin  [author] Mar 18, 2015 @ 7:33am
IGE
gogogoluke Mar 16, 2015 @ 5:37pm
This is awesome, however, which mod is the actual mod that allows a full AI game?
Comrade Doggo Mar 8, 2015 @ 3:01pm
Thanks! That worked for most but Canada and the Inuit still won't show up on the mod list, and 7Zip can't unzip them, is there something I'm still missing?
TPangolin  [author] Mar 8, 2015 @ 10:05am
You'll need the patch from the Ynaemp OP listed below :)
Comrade Doggo Mar 8, 2015 @ 6:13am
Couldnt get Israel, Qin, NKorea, Colombia, Boers, Canada, Mexico, or the Inuit to work, even with manual extraction of some of them, theyre all in my mods folder but some dont show up in the mod list and even more don't work with YnAEMP... What's wrong?
Tommy Bombadilly Feb 28, 2015 @ 9:29am
I found a solution to my problem. If some civs don't show up on the list when setting up the YnAEMP game then you have to get a patch for those civs if there is one, otherwise you have to manually make them compatible. To do this, you have to add to YnAEMP a starting position for those civs that don't show up. There are instructions for this here under the customize section: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=397387

A new issue I found though is now that I can set up a game with all the civs I want, when I get into the game and found my city I can't actually go into the city because the city name bar is no longer there.
LordOfTheUHauls Feb 28, 2015 @ 7:23am
I have downloaded the entire collection, compatibility patches, and even manually extracted the oddball civ packs, and I STILL can't get them all to work with YnAEMP. They seem to all be available outside of YnAEMP though. Here's what I can not seem to pull up in YnAEMP that I've tested so far:
Chile
Argentina
Gran Colombia
The Ayyubids
Israel
Qin Dynasty
North Korea

I did end up manually downloading JFDs v23 of YnAEMP as well and deleting the v22 one hoping that would fix it.
As far as testing goes, I'm trying to load up the specific Civs used in the Battle Royale.
Any ideas?
StayGold Feb 26, 2015 @ 10:40pm
Then unpack the zip folder same way as above to the MODS directory and make sure to enable in Civ 5. Here is the YnAEMP link if any other civs aren't showing up for you: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=397387 scroll down to the patches on the first page. Hope this helps!
StayGold Feb 26, 2015 @ 10:40pm
Two issues I found; either some mods don't show up in the selection screen or once selecting the YnAEMP I couldn't select certain civs seems to be common issues. For the first one steam doesn't unpack all the mods into the correct folder so subscribe to all and then go into the My Documents > My Games > Sid Meier's Civilization 5 > MODS folder and scroll to the bottom where a bunch of unpacked mod files are likely to be found. Unpack these (7zip!) by right clicking and selecting 7zip > Extract to "[mod name here]" and that should fix that issue.

The other issue is slightly more complex. I found that Canada and Mexico wouldn't show up in the civ selection screen but did appear in game. This is a YnAEMP compatibility issue so go to the civfanatics forums and search for the patch. Here is the Canada and a few others link that worked for me: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=13083351&postcount=493
Tommy Bombadilly Feb 26, 2015 @ 6:24pm
I installed all the mods manually and all the civs show up as options on the list in the custom earth tsl game setup menu except for Mexico, Canada, North Korea, Qin, Gallia, and Tahiti.
Remiarn Feb 25, 2015 @ 4:11pm
When I try to click on the button to activate the mod it says " previous mod verison already installed". Is this normal? The other mods are they working or do I need to reinstall them?
Craig Porter Jr. Feb 22, 2015 @ 7:43pm
maori are in the polynesia civ split
phoenixkage Feb 22, 2015 @ 3:21pm
Are the Maori in this list? I can't seem to find them
Wookiee_MoNsTeR Feb 20, 2015 @ 6:22pm
As an aside, I was also having problems with getting Canada, Boers, and Inuit to show up in my mod list. For some reason they weren't "installing". I went into my Mods directory and sure enough, those three were still in their .civ5mov format. If you follow the manual extraction instructions on the Canada mod page (right click if you have 7zip installed, etc) you can "install" them yourself.
Frank142 Feb 20, 2015 @ 2:03pm
When I have all these mods activated, city names disappear, making it impossible to access the city screen...
DrakenX999 Feb 20, 2015 @ 10:01am
No Historical Religions link?
RocketLord Feb 19, 2015 @ 9:00pm
Well, found out how to fix that. If anyone has the same problem, just manually change the filename and extension.
RocketLord Feb 19, 2015 @ 8:50pm
I'm trying the workshop downloader atm, but for some files it will only download them as an unknown file type named "download".
Aside from that, I had everything downloaded and installed properly with the workshop and had the civs selected in the mod list (along with all but the in game editor, historic era and BARBIE from this pack, as well as coast and river yield gold and unlimited barbarian xp), but they just didn't show up in the selectable list
Dirt McGirt Feb 19, 2015 @ 5:33pm
I'm having trouble getting TSL to work on YnAEMP?
TPangolin  [author] Feb 19, 2015 @ 5:04pm
I'd endeavour to install them manually. It's the same process for each civ.

In the future, http://steamworkshopdownloader.com is a fantastic tool to utilize.
SuburbanHell Feb 19, 2015 @ 3:21pm
Having the same problem as @RocketLord - Argentina, Canada, Chile, Gran Colombia, Israel, Mexico, North Korea, Qin China, Ayubids, Boers, and Inuit not showing up as civs -- AND -- Canada, Israel, Boers, and Inuit not even showing up as mods to enable. :glitch:?
