I saw this on the popular mods section of the Workshop, and just wanted to pitch in that I have a complimentary mod that removes nukes from CtW missions: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2179378160

I basically just added a very slightly modified no_nukes script into each scenario's runtime.

campaigns use different rules and I have no idea if its even possible to tweak them. This mod only affect custom matches (against ai or coop)

Does not appear to function. Playing Conquer the World campaign and as soon Modern hit it's raining Nukes as usual. No other mods installed.

@Mhitc757, I think, indestructible wonders should be possible via increasing their health/defence values to insane numbers (but it will affect all game modes). But again - Im not sure if I ll have a chance to do so in foreseen future

@Mhitc757, Im not sure if its even possible - as far as I remember, there wasnt anything relevant in game's xmls. Plus I've left the modding scene long time ago. Sorry :rendoh:

Oh and pls I need 1 extra mod also related to conquer the world:
indestructible wonders OR if a wonder has been destroyed in-game it will not affect anything when the battle's over

i tried scripting my own by settings a delay but i realised that it has nothing to do with how its executed its simply that the game desynchs if you play in single player you never crash or desynch etc this is a server issue or game engine issue so i dont believe there is a real fix for this issue unless the game devs decide to fix it.

Do you have any scripts enabled? Did you restart the game and check, is this mod enabled after it?

We all had the mod we even clicked reload assets before starting a new game, also we had this mod only installed.

Do other players in your lobby have it? It basically removes nukes from missle silo (removes missle silo from buildings, where it crafts), so - if someone doesnt have it, they will be able to craft nukes. Also, other mods, override same file, may conflict with it

@rsalan, nope, sorry - I've lost this file in time and space and not able to download from steam, cuz RoN isnt avalaible for my current OS.

Not sure, if it will work with non-remastered version, but whatever.

this isnt fix clearly. Its just a "replace" of in-game script. Overall - its not designed to being used with in-game script at all :ltshaggy:

New match friend :( we use the 700pop limit+ no nuke script built in your mod, and the fix too. We cannot use the script no nuke, because it makes our game desync. We subscribed your fix(it's unitrules.xml). Update: @Yuki: it works correctly now :D, just edit a string. You can apply this rules with everything you want to deactivate, just locate that thing in the right file.

I can confirm, i can still build nuclear icbm even with the mod activated(it's white on the mod manager of rise of nations)

idk rlly oO Just find submenu (didnt play game for very long time and sadly cant launch it now) with mods and enable this one. Ah, also: to enable this mod in multiplayer, all players in your room must have it. Or it wont work

@Theo, it must disable nuclears in EVERY BATTLES - in custom, in campaign, in single player, in multiplayer. It cant only disable nuclears on the world map (for example - cold war), cuz world map is like lobby-room.
I can remove missile silo, i can make its cost higher (i also have plans to re-balance game, includes price rebalance and units rebalance)

Also for another thing, do you think you might be able to make a mod that disabled all missles, like cruise missles and those other ones, or just the missle silo completly, they are so damn annoying and just make it seem like in the late game all you do is rush for missle shield.

So just for clarification this disables the nukes in a battle correct? Even battles in the Conquer the World. Sorry if i worded it wrong, i didnt mean nukes on the map i meant nukes just in battles which take place on the map...if that makes any sense >_>

Hmmm... It must work with matches (fights), but, on the world map - it doesnt work

does this work with conquer the world campaigns? Im guessing not cold war cause thats the entire idea of it, but what about the conquer everything campaign?
