Hello, big fan and long time player of rome 2 DEI, recently came back to the game after a break and was going to do the wrath of sparta campaign, i used to have a submod i believe that was official that enabled it instead of the Macedonian wars but for the life of me I cannot find it. was wondering if it was deleted or if it still exists, thank you for any assistance and again such an amazing mod.

@joey556 I understand your request but, because a person who plays total war would want fewer units in their armies. not enough to put the units in small? I mean if I could I would use mods to double the number of troops per squad but my computer would not allow it for performance so I find your question incomprehensible for someone who plays warlike rts as total war. maybe you see yours be tactical games like COH2 or MenOfWar

I've been looking everywhere on every tw game to have smaller armies...I hate 20v20 or 40 etc stack battles, I always play on unit sizes low, I like having my units mean something and small groups turning the tides of battles, is there any way I can get a mod that actually has like 4 or 5 stack armies throughout the campaign? not just 20 stack armies by turn 5?? It's driving me insane, or even limiting the actual size of army stacks per battle, please help.

Hey Dresden, Could you make a no agents submod? The AI just spams Mass Poison on my armies, They basically wipe out my army in 4 turns (half strength remaining). It's just not fun.

Would it be possible to have a submod for splitting up the peregrini(Foreigners) class? For example to show the difference between Greeks and Gauls in Roman territory.

Does an easy mode submod exist to sabotage the incomes of 1 settlement minor factions (that actually works, unlike the "Its a small world after all") so that they can only field ~1 army of 20 units?
Also is their a submod to stop factions zerg stacking you with armies of 20 noble class infantry?
I understand most others would simply enjoy the challenge, but I find it more of a annoying slog.

играю в большую компанию, с этими модами и не могу понять, когда там появятся легионеры, казармы уже построил, а нанять можно только копейщиков, что за фигня. А, вот в императоре Август сразу легионеры появляются, кто нибудь мне объяснит как сделать.ю чтобы в большую компанию появились легионеры

@Xenofex early game it doesn't matter too much, but mid to late game you'll want to have governers (agents and generals) with skill focused on reducing empire maintainence. Makes all the difference.

i dont know why but im not very far in the campaign, and my empire maintenance is like... 70%. so my biggest city, Carthage, generates like 3500 income. But Massalia faction generates 3000 in even their smaller towns, and they just keep raging on in germania... Massalia itself generates 6500. Seems alot like they arent getting any maintenance. Im running it with the softcore submod.

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to ask but the mod heavily hampers the performance of my computer. Usually i can run on quite high settings and good fps but with the mod the game suddenly looks and runs like crap.
Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and knows how to fix.

Thanks. One other question i had, Is there a submod that improves the AI's diplomatic intelligence? I'm playing as Rome, and after having been fighting carthage for about 30 years i can safely say the first Punic war has been won, I've pushed them out of Sicily completely and i'm raiding and sacking carthages African holdings alongside Epirus (who interestingly enough is still at war with carthage, and is now my trade partner). Yet despite the fact that the war is pretty much won, Carthage won't accept my offers for peace, even though i have offered over 30000 gold for a peace treaty. If there aren't submods for it, Will other diplomatic overhaul mods work with divide et impera? I don't want to wipe out carthage yet, as i'm trying to follow a somewhat historically accurate path of Roman expansion.

Is there a submod that decreases the amount of troops in units? At first i liked the 225 troops in various units but it's been causing me lag issues lately and the AI just loves spamming units that number over 200

This mod is always amazing and I love it although I do not recommend using the
"All factions playable" Although it is cool to be bale to play as them etc.
Turn times are waaaaay slower because they're so man factions

@Dresden I may not be right on this as a I have only very basic understandings of how modding works in general let alone how it works for Total War games, however, I am fairly sure the reason most mods that reduce movement speed don't work with DeL us that it require campaign movement points (or something) of each individual unit to be reduced accordingly. Which I understand would be a long and boring task and make mods for vanilla total war not work as you introduce so many new units. If someone where to provide a guide on where the movement needs reducing and how to provide a submod for DeL I would happily do the work and spend the time going through each unit and reducing that number, but I would need to be shown how?

Hey Dresden, thx for the reply and a big thanks to all of you for your work.
I will look at TWcenter, for that Mod but right now im playing with Scipios DeI Realism Mod/submods and it took me 3 days to get it working correctly, everything is working now, with the downside that the realism Mod reverted the Movement range to vanilla. (I dont know if i will take the risk to corrupt the working mods, just for this one adjustment.

Imho i think that the movement Range in "Stock" DeI with the 4 TPY is really good balanced, because its not lowered that much that it is historacally nonesene, but you cant move from most cities to another in just one turn, which makes it very valuable in tactical campaign map gameplay.

@jokerahh, Thats ecaxtly what im looking for!, evveryone uses 2,4,12,24,56883 turns per year, but NO ONE reduces the movement range properly, dont know whats the problem with that....

I know I have asked it before but is there any chance of a sub-mod that reduces campaign movement distance for armies, navies and agents to held slow the speed that players and AI expand making the campaign flow at a more historically accurate speed? I just think something like this would slow the pace enough that players wouldn't see massive empires appearing at way to early a period. Something like half the movement distance. This would be particularly previlent with the longer year mods such as the 12 turns per year mod
