Attempting to load this mod, even alone, crashes me to desktop. Please help.

It does indeed work, though there's some mods that are incompatible and mods which changes the DLL requires some additional steps (All which you can find in the second link in the mod's description.)

The amount of comments make me feel that this mod doesn't work, could someone confirm or deny if it works at all? If not, this needs to be removed, ideally.

I'm trying to use this with Really Advanced Setup. After make the modpack, all fields are empty and no buttons work in advance setup.

Update: I got it to work, for some reason the Paraguay Civilization mod was the cause.

For some reason the mod pack breaks the cultural overview and I dont know how to fix the issue, (It should be noted that the culture overview works fine when loading the mods on the mod menu before converting them into a fake DLC folder)

Just a heads up for anyone looking to do this with gaia, as stated last year by someone else further down the comments, the corporations/monopoly button is broken. Not that it opens and you can't close it, you can play the game fine. You can't open it though. And you can't choose to enhance your religion either. When you try you get the second belief but not the enchantment,it won't let you select it and thus not confirm the enhancement to the religion.

For anyone has no command line in firetunner:
Press TAB first, then type CreateMP() directly and press enter.
At least it works for me.

Hello all, it's not MPMP State anymore but MPMP_Maker (still on top on the list with \users\etc..)
I had some issues like mods doesn't apply correctly, the solution is to unistall everything and delete ALL in steam folder + in "my documents/Mygames/civ5/etc...")

Since the OP don't seem to come here anymore it'll probably mean nothing, but thank you a lot for this mod and the help to how create specifics games with friends.:steamthumbsup::claptrap:

To those wondering about Gaia, it is considered a DLL mod by this mod(MPMW) you will need to remove a DLL file and possibly a line of code from the .modinfo file. Read the instructions provided in the link above. (second link)

Nevermind, seems the problem was I was trying to use Gaia Core Mod. After reading some other comments, it's apparent that this tool doesn't support that.

@razamondo I have managed to make a pack with gaia's core mod, though it broke in other ways. The map's it adds arent available (not super surprising) but also the corporations feature is broken.

I'm also trying to make a modpack with gaia's core mod but I can't get the game to start after loading mods without crashing when the DLL and the line of text from the .modinfo are removed. Anyone manage to fix crashing when dealing with DLL mods? or has anyone successfully made a pack with gaia's core?

I've got a problem with setting this up. When attempt to launch a modded game with firetuner connected it crashes the moment i hit 'start game'. I've enabled firetuner in the config already. Does anyone know a fix?

Hello, I tried to do this and made a modpack for my friends to use and gave them the correct instructions for it. However they cannot see the or use the civs we tried to implement and they also have all the mods subscribed to as well just in case. We all have the same modpack so i am not sure as to why it does not work, any clues or guesses as to why?

Hey, so I've been using this with vox populi, along with EUI, more wonders for VP and more uniques 3 a 4th. Works great by the way! However, when I try to run it with all 9 mods I don't get any achievements. Running Magnus' vox populi modpack however does give achievements. the 2 extra mods i'm using (More uniques and more wonders) are both not .DLL mods. Does anyone have any ideas how I could get achievements to work with the custom modpack? Thanks in advance!

For now I'm going to try using the workaround with magnus' vox populi as a base instead of the original VP. I'll post the results here in case anyone else finds them useful later.

Had anyone gotten the Really Advanced Setup mod to work with this? Also, I know this is multiplayer, but can I still use this in single player games to allow achievements to work again?

Update: I have done some brief testing and my hypothesis appears to be correct; DLL mods will disable achievements even when using a modpack, but no-DLL modpacks do enable achievements. Testing was not particularly rigorous, so take with a grain of salt.

I have a theory that it is DLL mods that disable achievements in singleplayer when attempting to use a modpack to play with achievements. I need to test this, but can anyone here share their experiences?

hey there so my friends and i downloaded Bacon Bombs ultimate Civ 5 mp Modded experience, It works and such up until turn 10-12, then it just flat crashes to desktop, no error report or anything, We cannot figure out what could be causing the issue, but this seems to be a problem with the modpack in general as almost everyone who tries it has the same issue, has anyone found a fix to what might be causing it

Viewed the code on github.
That's only packs files from modification(s) to game and all, why it is cannot be done with other languages or embedded to the game files (it have LUA directory in main and dlc files), is there a limitation on interacting with FS?

Came to this idea before getting to know that it's already exist.
One question - is Civ5 lua language allows to run executables/scripts or interact with FS, so it can be automated and embedded to the mods' side?

@Thandius I dont think so, the whole point of the MMP is to let the game think its a dlc, so if you disable it you cant use it

Is there any version of this that doesn't require the expansions?
The reason I am asking is that I want to play some older stuff that needs the expansions disabled (for example to complete the oder,autocracy and freedom policy tracks), but you can't disable them without breaking the MMP created DLC.

I have the mod downloaded but whenever I run Firetuner to look for the lua, it does not show on the list of mods. Is there a separate name the mod sometimes shows under besides what's listed?

I additionally knew the cause. [120237.656] In Query - DELETE FROM Worlds;
[120237.656] Database::XMLSerializer (Assets\DLC\MP_MODSPACK\Override\CIV5Worlds.xml): There was an error executing the delete statement! See Database.log for details.

And I found using <Update> columns in my modpack's mod. It seems to raise when <Update> was working, it found the info in the CIV5Worlds and etc and finally it is directly connected the error because of executing DELETE in the CIV5Worlds instead of CIV5Units. For resoving the issue, you should 'disperse' contexts in the CIV5Units or reflects Update contexts in the all mods.

I found issue about CIV5Worlds.xml and CIV5HandicapInfos.xml. If your modpack contains any mod changing pregame info, the game always crashes because infomations in XMLs do not exist. I think it's a problem of not being able to perceive relevant contents in CIV5Units.xml. I check if CIV5Worlds and CIV5HandicapInfos contents insert into relevant XML files, the modpack issue disappears. Idk why can't all CIV5Units contents perceive, but because of this fact, the error rises.
