Would it be possible to use the less paranoid Yuri voice lines? I mean it is the one who rejected the journal, so "the journal teaches" and "if kislev doesn't care, why should I?" are less fitting for the character.

I don't know if it would be within your skillset, but a Landmark at Volcanos heart to represent the diverging path and give you something to benefit from it being your "capital" would be neat.

Otherwise, it's pretty great. Absolutely going to do another Yuri campaign if you give him a norsca vassal mechanic.

Hello! first off absolutely love this mod! just played a very long game with it. i did notice some issues. the quest item weapon never spawned in even after i reached the level for it. but the pendant of winter did spawn in. and yuri's faction seemed unable to use modded heroes and lords like the hag mother or frost guard(not sure if that's a them or you thing though)
love this mod hoping for more;)

A bug has been discovered: when this mod is run alongside MCT,

the cities of Ungol Kindred will become part of the Kostaltyn faction at the start of the game.

This results in Kostaltyn lacking early-game enemies; it is suggested they be classified as Sarl of the Nosca.

If players were to play as the Katarin faction, I'd like a quest-like mechanic to recruit Yuri after defeating the Daemon Prince. It would be fantastic if Yuri could also have a transformation skill, turning into the Demon Prince during battle.

@strazhari I got Yuri via Recruit Defeated LL and he wasn't even wounded, he was ready to go instantly. Got him in a campaign where I did not have Mixu's active but deselected the 'playable factions only' option of RDLL

Nope, default game doesn't have Siege Attacker or Immortality - that's the issue (or a personal choice: doesn't bother me, just an FYI for the mod)

Hmm. Yeah, Yuri can be killed & doesn't have Siege Attacker. Is he designated as a LL? Or is that a spawn issue? (spawn wh3_main_ksl_yuri)

Oh, wasn't worried about it - I'm perfectly happy to console in...was wondering if he just didn't have the Immortality trait or something.

Much more interested in what your doing for Gerik if you mean to work on something.

Recruit Defeated LL does not work - it works on the faction, but Yuri doesn't come with it (should list as wounded in LL pool, does not). He can be consoled in & renamed, but does not come over as is

PSA as I've seen more than a couple of people post regarding this subject: You cannot play any faction that you do not have a minimum of 1 DLC for.

Owning Warhammer III for Immortal Empires without having purchased the base game/upgrade pack OR the Mother Ostankya locks this mod out from play until you do. The same goes for any mods that rely on "locked" faction units.

I got the 'First to Fight' one which applies to Boyar, Druzhina, Ataman and Boris; so it seems like it would fit Yuri - but it does not give him the ability.

It should apply to Yuri, even though the UI doesn't show it. I'm going to investigate further, but if you manage to unlock that ritual, do tell me if it applies to him.

I started a new campaign with only this mod and another with this mod and mixu's unlocker. In neither of those Yuri's picture appeared on C&O in any technology like e.g. 'Blessed Leaders' or 'Ursun's Favoured'. I could not unlock those yet.
Or is the picture irrelevant and it will apply to Yuri anyways?

I don't think it's a problem from this mod's end. The effects from technology and court and orthodoxy apply just fine to my game. Can you tell me which specific technologies or effect aren't working?

Yuri does not seem to be affected by technology from the research nor by unlocks from the Orthodoxy & Court system. Mind enableing him? Thank you

Hi ! I suppose it's a compatibility issue, went here to know first if it was known, starting a campaign as Vlad, searching for why my game is actually not working properly, been trying loads of mods configurations etc, still not finding, among my 90 mods list (from 200) why the game doesn't load.

I had this error while loading the campaign, for the first time !

Do you know any mods that might conflict with it ?

I'm sorry. It definitely sounds like a compatibility issue. spawn_zorya is a script that spawns the starting ice hero agent. It needs Yuri's army to exist on the map to fire properly.

Can you describe to me in more detail what happens when the bug appears? Like are you playing as Yuri when it happens or as a different faction.

@Marsu573 you might be able to resurrect his faction by staging a rebellion on the Zoishenk province. Another commenter said that recruit defeated legendary lord should work though.

Hey, great mod and definitely a better lord than the demon prince! I specifically started a campaign with a few mods for Kislev, but I'm having a bit of a problem. While playing with another modded Kislev faction, I wanted to confederate Yuri, but he got wiped out before I could do anything, and the 'Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords' mod didn’t work (or maybe I accidentally pressed something to eliminate the faction). Is there any way to bring Yuri's faction back to the campaign, perhaps using console commands?

Yeah fair. It would be great for this one that doesnt require it to still be avilable but i understand maintaining two versions of the mod might be a bit annoying.

It would be very interesting if he could unlock a custom "Defeated Traits" when he kills the Daemon Prince, like what normally happens when a Bretonnian kills Louen or Surtha Enk kills Settra.

Yeah, he appears without Mixu for now because I'm overwriting a faction that exists in vanilla. In the future, he might become a fully custom faction and you'd need Mixu to spawn him.

Yuri's faction in the Old World is a different one from Immortal Empire. You gotta scroll to the bottom of the faction's select screen to see him.

When Playing in the Old World Yuri's sub faction is replaced by a random kislev faction in the middle of kislev.

that used to be in the mod, but I removed it because it doesn't make sense for order-aligned Yuri to still be carrying a chaos sword around. I'm going to replace it with something else eventually.
