I've made an update to add compatibility with Dual Wield for when I release that. I've rewritten how it handles the patches, but everything should still function the same ^.^ Please let me know if anything is broken now

Glad you like it <3 I put in a lot of effort to improve it before release. There's also Dual Wield coming soon, dealing with a mod conflict between these 2 mods before I release it though

The patch is to disallow trying to fire your gun over and over again while moving when it has no ammo. Is that part still working?

Ah, after some investigation, it seems CE accidentally pushed out a bad update (old version?) onto the Steam Workshop, and then immediately fixed it (I think?). I just verified my game files and it didn't give me the fixed version though, so it's also possible their fix is actually the broken part :shadowheartlaugh:

You'll probably need to wait for them to fix it. Or if you know what you're doing, you could clone and build CE from Github

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, but I'm running a multiplayer game with a couple friends with the 1.6 multiplayer beta, and this version of Run and Gun is not recognized by the Multiplayer Compatibility mod. I know the old 1.5 version works for multiplayer with the compatibility patch but I am not sure why this one doesn't. Is it a mod ID issue that I might be able to manually fix so Multiplayer Compat recognizes this mod and applies the patch?

@ApokalyptoJr ~ Yeah, that was an issue from the original mod that I fixed in 1.6.

@Slinkerdeer ~ That actually should be fixed pretty soon, as soon as CE does their next release. The PR to fix that issue has been merged on their side and is awaiting release

When I posted it was specifically the Marksman Rifle and Sawed-Off Shotgun both from Vanilla Weapons Expanded. Upon a bit more testing it appears to be because I have the accuracy penalty raised to 75% for R&G, since lowering it back down to ~15% makes (the guns I was testing, base game pump shotgun and autopistol) work as intended. Hope my half-ah testing helps a lil lmao

in 1.5 (not sure about other versions) This mod causes unarmed Pawns to punch at super fast speeds. one of my guys whooped a thrumbo's ass in 2 seconds with his bare hands and level one melee skill. melee weapons on the other hand are unaffected.

@Arcane Jelly ~ I don't have that issue, and I use Simple Sidearms as well. Might be another mod conflicting with it, I'd probably need a modlist (exported via RimSort to rentry) to debug that.

@Асура ~ Just looked up that mod, doesn't seem to have another continued version, I'll take a look at it ^.^

@Unigamer ~ That mod is still unreleased, so expect errors. Also yeah, that could be a CE error as well, since it needs to do a lot of patches to change verbs

@Lovhes ~ That's really weird, although I haven't tried switching forks in the same save, I'd say at least someone else has, and I would have heard about the issue before now. It's possible it's a mod conflict? Would probably need a modlist (exported via RimSort to rentry) to do anything

weird, using this version of run and gun (tbf i replace another run and gun fork in an ongoing save) caused an issue where pawns just got frozen in place. when clicked they'll show an infinitely growing action circle thing.

had to go back to the fork instead of this one.

With this and Simple Sidearms pawns constantly switch between their long and short ranged guns when running and gunning, leading them to never end up actually firing anything

Both mods seem to be working fine but I just thought I'd let you know in-case - I'm getting a red error on game start relating to Combat Extended and this mod, stating "Combat Extended :: Failed to find injection point when applying Patch: Harmony_Compat_RunAndGun". Like I said both mods 'seem' to be working fine though

Experiencing a bug where no pawns are visible on the map or in the bar up the top of the screen. Have only checked on a saved game so far, but seems to survive through reloads and restarts of rimworld.

Removing Run & Gun fixed the problem.

No other mods were updated since it worked last, I'm not sure if there was a base game update today too though.

am downgraded to 1.5 cuz not all mods get updates or take a while, common denominator version to make sure it all works. sometimes it'll still work but its kind of situational i guess. thats the downside to modded playthroughs, am rarely on the current version.

Dual Wield is not fully released, and Ogliss has mentioned that they don't really have the time to finish it. I'm taking a look at updating it to 1.6, will see what I can do about that issue then ^.^

Am experiencing the same bug @ふうねる reported. The pawn just gets stuck and the action wheel infinitely grows. Reloading the save fixes it, but it makes this mod un-useable with Dual Wield.

@deeznuts ~ Ah yes, I've made a lot of changes to modernise the mod, it's not surprising it's not fully compatible with 1.5 anymore. I might go back and fix that at some point, because it is important to preserve it, but there's also a lot on my list that's way higher priority ^.^

Curious as to why you're still playing 1.5 though, if you don't mind me asking ^.^
