yes it's possible. Will look at this when I have time

Is any chance you could update this mod or add a companion mod to auto-assign education focus based on child personality trait? For example rowdy children all get martial, curious all get learning, etc.?

update : educate child ineraction rework

Now when using the educate child interaction to a child (or yourself if you are a child) it will preselect the best candidate for the education based of the same value of the auto guardian appoint above. In base game the preselected guardian doesn't really check the aptitude of the guardian.

This also apply to AI, which will choose better guardians for close family children

Okay, just trying to figure out what mod I've installed that would prevent me from seeing my daughter has no guardian. (like it never popped up, and doesn't show my daughter as needing a guardian in the tooltip stuff)
Ourg  [author] Sep 16 @ 2:31pm
No because children get a guardian so the nofication is not triggered
Renown Sep 16 @ 2:27pm
Q- you said this on Sept 7
-------------
I've made this mainly to prevent the spam in notification asking you to set a guardian to your child/greatchild/greatgreatchild. Quite annoying when you have a lot of them.
------------

Does this mean those notifications don't pop up any more?

It's possible, but don't think it's really needed. The only fine option would be to allow conversion of you own culture/religion but will only work with guardian of the same. Better to do it manually when you want to convert someone in a specific culture/religion like hostage.
Osium Sep 14 @ 2:00am
Any way to add that as a toggle option?
Ourg  [author] Sep 14 @ 1:03am
no it doesn't change religion/culture
Osium Sep 13 @ 10:04pm
Does this auto convert religion/culture as well when assigning a guardian? Or does it just leave them as is. I didn't need to check before because my entire court was my culture/religion ;)

ai piss varnish splashed all over this one

Also, so far it doesn't seem like that big of a deal. The other mod was causing massive interaction errors when it assigned baby dragons to be wards. I've not noticed it happening with yours since I disabled the other one, uninstalled it, and cleaned the save of it.
Osium Sep 9 @ 1:04am
Yea, I got this after you updated saying you made it agot compat. If you right click interacted to try and set a guardian the tooltip said "is not human" 2x. So somehow it is still sneaking through, I've had a few suddenly pick up guardians at like ages 9, 11 and 14 (installed after they had aged passed 6).
Ourg  [author] Sep 9 @ 12:33am
I've just tested. I've spawn a egg and hatch it in debug mod. Wait the age of 6 and the mod didn't give him or tried to give him a guardian.
Ourg  [author] Sep 9 @ 12:19am
I've set the is_human = yes in every character trigger/effect. Dunno how baby dragon are defined but it should not trigger. Try unsubscride/resubscribe also
Osium Sep 8 @ 11:45pm
It is still appointing guardians for baby dragons. I just had it happen with the new version fyi!
Osium Sep 8 @ 5:49pm
Nice :)
Ourg  [author] Sep 8 @ 1:28pm
update : i've made it compatible with agot to prevent dragon triggering the script.
Osium Sep 8 @ 10:50am
Is this compatible with agot? The other auto guardian mod isn't. Not that it's to be expected, but, I believe compatibility is pretty simple. The mod just needs an "is_human = yes" check for the recipients of the education interaction to prevent the mod from trying to give baby dragons guardians which can cause a run of errors which can cause a several second lock or crash the game because a baby dragon isn't a viable target for the interaction!
Vseman Sep 7 @ 8:14am
Understood, thanks anyhow
Ourg  [author] Sep 7 @ 6:14am
It won't give more that two wards per character like in vanilla. It's not possible to check the empty ward slot, we can only count the number of wards
Vseman Sep 7 @ 5:11am
Does this work with mods that give infinite ward slots
Ourg  [author] Sep 7 @ 12:55am
@雲雲火山 : yes

@Cavve : yes it's partially true. But some governments don't have access to the court tutor (landless adventurer annd nomad without the building). In addition it's still better to have a guardian because some education events only trigger with a guardian

I've made this mainly to prevent the spam in notification asking you to set a guardian to your child/greatchild/greatgreatchild. Quite annoying when you have a lot of them.
Cavve Sep 6 @ 9:16pm
I though the court tutor educated the children that do not have any guardian.
According to the wiki they do it.
