Mod is lovely, has bugs but all mods do, altough i will say the pistols look comicly small, maybe make thema bit bigger?

Yo, good night @Filibuster Rhymes, i have something to report! i was playing my runs with some mods, and before i use acceptable guns DEMO, i was using guns of 93, going straight to the point, they “ work“ together, but there is something that brokes and make your mod less playable. And that is u cant put back or change weapon parts of your guns from acceptable guns DEMO, like if u remove a part u cant add it back later, but not only this if i got like a aim or silencer also cant put it too on the gun, and yes this is because i was using guns of 93, i removed only guns of 93 and it works, i put it back, and it broke again, also it doesnt returns errors, but it surely brokes the add/change weapon parts of your guns when using together guns of 93, Thank you for the attention!!

Can you please buff the damage for the Mini-14 please? It doesn't seem like it's doing anything, even a 9mm pistol is more effective, literally can take 3+ headshots to kill a single infected. Overall, great mod.

Hello! I’m a huge fan of your work. I was wondering if you might consider adding or modifying a sight—a modern-style red dot for the M4 platform would be amazing. Interestingly, prototypes of very similar red dots already existed in the ’90s, so it wouldn’t be anachronistic. Please, I would be thrilled if you could add it!

In muldraugh police station, in the basement, there are criminal themed duffelbags that spawn with vanilla guns. Could you fix it? Great mod btw

Might already be aware but seems like Bandits (friendly and hostile) from the Bandits mod will still carry Vanilla firearms. Just killed a Bandit carrying a vanilla Magnum

Larrycañonga: It doesn't. It only replaces the spawns, not the actual vanilla guns. If you choose the starting kit, the pistol will be the vanilla one. I might add in an option to replace that later on, but I did it that way to keep it as compatible as possible.

Sebby R. Darkheart: It'd be pretty cool, but not the style I'm going for. I'm not sure I could code that, but I'm tryin' to keep it more on the realistic side, too.
Xefaria: Nah, nothing like that. I was thinking more like carving a rough stock outta a board or welding one outta metal. If I do it, I'd be using real makeshift guns for inspiration. Any makeshift scope would be something like a binocular busted in half and work like shit.

fried_nuggets456: Like Lol<3 said, you likely need a wrench. Some stuff like automatic pistols and pump shotguns don't need any tools, though.

Would be nice to see Lousiville PD, State Troopers and Sheriff Dept all get more accurate weapons. So far it seems like the vast majority of cops are using .38s. Don't know if its in the scope of the mod, but adding the S&W 1076 for Troopers would mean adding 10mm, so maybe that's a reach in terms of suggestions.

Yo Fili, you say you plan to add homemade parts. Are you talking about something like, replace the stock with a shovel handle, grip with an old wrench, or a scope made of a soda can and magnifying glass? Like Fallout 4 level of makeshift parts? Cuz in PZ, that would actually be pretty cool, if it's done right. *just plz no guns made of drift wood, zip-ties, screws and lead pipes*

Attach the barrel with duct tape and a screwdriver, and if it's a high-caliber gun, use some glue and thread too.

To attach a barrel to a upper receiver you need a wrench
in real life you would use a torque wrench but idk how many foot pounds and or clicks

Beat Down Babylon: I'll check into that, but it should just remove items from the spawn pool. I'm not sure why it'd cause any issues with loading saves. Would you mind joining the discord to give me more details?

drshahramanvariazar: Shouldn't cause any errors, but it'll be whatever item that mod starts you with, not my guns. I might add an option that replaces vanilla weapons on equip too, but no promises on that. I'm trying to keep it as compatible as possible to prevent errors.
Courier 6: I saw some stuff on bottle suppressors that actually kinda work on .22s for one shot, that might be pretty cool. Any other kinds probably won't happen unless I get a chance to do the full version and can get part durability working.

If anyone gets a conflict/save game load issue with other mods, what worked for me was:
1. Disable Filibuster's really rather excellent mod
2. Find to the mods (3554570236) sandbox-options.txt and set the [option FRGunMod.RemoveVanilla] to default = false.
3. Restart the game, so the new value definitely gets read
4. Enable the mod again

While having the old vanilla weapons spawning isn't ideal, the upside is you can load a save again.The mods original default setting can prevent that.

I'm sure it's coming with different mag types but having a different model for a gun with an external magazine and a gun with the magazine inserted is something I would LOVE to see! It's one of my biggest gripes with vanilla guns or other gun mods!

Courier 6, SDgamer: No SMGs yet, but if I can keep working on it, there are a few I wanna add. It has a few suppressors, but none are improvised. I might add some of those later on, but they'll be pretty crappy.

NotSoEpic: Hold reload to pop open the weapon wheel. I'll try to write up some instructions for the new features sometime.
Kurt Knispel: Might be a mod conflict, but could also be a misclick or something and it didn't turn the mod on. Check the simplest stuff first, even if it seems like there's no chance.
Trey: It doesn't replace the guns, it just removes them from the spawn pool.
