In Artisan Touch we specifically place modifiers before the item name (e.g. “Quick Revolver”), so they function as prefixes. That’s why we’ve kept the Terraria-style wording of “prefixes” throughout the mod.
Thanks for the feedback — I’ll make sure to add a note in the description clarifying this for new players!
You were right — the list was incorrect. I really appreciate you pointing it out! Here’s the corrected version (updated on the description as well):
Legendary → Up to 3 prefixes
Masterwork → Up to 2 prefixes
Excellent or lower (down to Normal) → 1 prefix
Poor or Awful → 0 prefixes
I’ll also attach an image of the prefix configuration tab for clarity.
Regarding your question about item naming
You make a great point, and I’ll plan to add this as a feature today — it makes total sense.
I guess I was still stuck in that Terraria-style mindset of always putting the prefix first, but I didn’t realize that with multiple prefixes it could become confusing.
I’ll start working on this option right away. Thanks a lot for bringing it up!
Legendary → Up to 3 prefixes
Masterwork → Up to 4 prefixes
Excellent or lower (down to Normal) → 1 prefix
Poor or Awful → 0 prefixes
That should be legendary up to 4, and masterwork up to 3, right?
