that looks like a vanilla thing that will require for my research bench to replace, if they didn't have the require thingy it would work but it looks like they all require the hi-tech research bench at that point, like i need to hijack it to use my bench instead. maybe with #C? I dont code though and I'd rather not touch those core vanilla things, it might break a mod for all i know.

nope, its a big W to the half life fans tho which includes me, since if I get tired on playing my stuff theres always another mod with different art to play around with, I'm hoping more half life mods comes out since I'm excited for these kind of HL content.
however, there is currently no faction that should spawn with any of the combine gear. You should not have to worry about them showing up in raids at all, unless another mod somehow grabs the unique tags we have on the equipment. Eventually I believe Status will implement a faction but if you make a local copy of this mod you will not have to worry about it.
I'll have to find references for synths those too.

Dude I'm a huge fan of the Combine aesthetic. I know that you don't have any priorities for the faction but man it would be so freaking cool!
In scenario if you didnt choose a combine colony then youre enemy, ill have to check my 1.5 test faction and see what changed in 1.6 but not my priority right now.
