@Charlston So glad that worked! Yeah that was my bad, I mistakenly had those conflicts in there. Collection is all updated now so these issues are fixed!

Removing Spongies Retexture did the trick, not one error now.

Just realized the collection has 2 character models; Spongie's Retexture and Tomb's Player Body. Just choose 1, whichever you like more. I may stick with Tomb's personally. Spongie's Character Customization Menu works with Tombs, so does Spongie's Clothing, Hair, and Open Jackets.

@ Charlston Shrew Lmk if you need any help, and see if you can click the little red magnifying glass at the bottom right hand corner and lmk what it says.

And make sure followed the install guide with the KNox Expanded Event NPC's

Then If I were you, now that you did a clean install, run a game pure vanilla first, then exit game, run game again, enable mods 1 by 1 manually yourself without copy pasting my files.

Maybe refrain from adding big map mods at first. Just some tips. Hope it helps

I've gotten it running but it is spamming errors now. It spams a few errors constantly while outside of the map and then once I open the map it spams thousands of errors constantly.

After this latest update as of today I can't load into a new world. I've gone as far as redownloading pz and your collection. If you need some more info let me know.

After further testing, the Bandits mod was having conflicts with Knox Expanded NPC's.

I am removing the Bandits mod for now, as it has certain conflicts and is causing performance issues, moreso then the Knox NPC's are.

Use this mod to increase your performance as well. Loads in a smaller number of squares near you.

@life is beautiful What do you mean, unplayable? Not sure what to say, it's working great for me.

If it crashes on first start up, just reload and try loading in again.

Go through your mod list. Make sure any duplicate mod options are not enables all together
(I believe the Bigger Character Avatar can have all 3 options ticked. Make sure only 1 is ticked.)

If you have to reduce performance for the start of the game, I'd do that. Then once things ar eloaded in, it'll start running okay. I too have performance dips when I am entering a large town with lots of vehicles, zombides, etc. Sometimes just quitting to desktop and reloading back in helps.

Turn down max texture sizes, turn down ragdolls active at once, reduce screen resolution, play in full screen, lock FPS at 60, etc.

Whenever I try to boot up a new game, instead of letting me click to start once the "this is how you died" text dissapears, it gives me an error and makes me quit to desktop.

Considering changing from Escape from Kentucky Weapon Overhaul to either Real Firearms 1.1 or Rains. Will see. Also testing a new version of this collection with 40+ mods added to the list.

Yeah I guess I should clarify that the steam library may not be in the C drive.
If you right click any game in steam and click Manage -> Browse Local Files it'll take you to the install location

I'm in Program Files and Steam doesn't show up. Is there any other easier way for you to tell me how to do this? I *really* want to play B42 with this mod pack.

@life is beautiful Hm interesting. Did you follow the install guide?

Make sure you did this step for the Knox NPC's:

Go to your install drive, like C: Program Files - Steam - steam apps - workshop - content - 108600 - 3397396843 - mods - KnoxEventExpanded - java
- copy the Zombie and Knox folders into your Project Zomboid install directory
- C: Program Files - Steam - steam apps - common - Project Zomboid
- overwrite all files

When you start the game, it'll show you a new window of the map to stimulate the NPC's spawning. Then you are good to go.

@Una Curita B42 does not have mutiplayer rn. For B41, I this list has mods specific for B42 so no this won't work for B41. Plenty of great collections out there for B41 mutliplayer though

Everytime I try do do a sandbox game with these mods, in ANY way I do it, on either regular or alternate launch, my game will either go black screen upon starting, or will go through the "these are the end times... etc" text before PZ tells me to return to desktop. The game files stay, kind of, because when I click Load, I can select them, but they are not playable (can't click load/play). Need help.

@Wicky yeah is the AoM Zombie animations. I am removing it from the mod list. At first, I thought i looked creepy, but then in game, it just made me lol

Hey, I'm just only using your collection without using NPCs mod only. Turned it off. All zombies heads' are spinning around like a toy but if I knock them down, they go back to normal. I guess there is a mod affecting zombies and their heads look funny, always spinning around 360. FYI

Haven't checked this out but regarding mod load order as i see you mention it in the bug report discussion, (since i know KEE needs to be at the bottom, for example) it might be a nice idea to share your mod load preset like in Sophie's collection ; where users can copy and paste the preset load order and just enable it in game rather than using enable all which might not respect the mod load order of specific mods.
