some of the levelling ones I'd tweak the options to not get too OP if that's what you want, but it's really just up to you, can have as many or as few extras like accessory slots etc, I'd avoid going much above 23 otherwise things get laggy, the other mods aren't really adding lag, its just when you go overboard on extra items :P
So fargo's souls mod is good for combining items to use less slots but still have all the powers you want ^-^
