2 - I find this strange because the kazanji custom faction mod clearly has a screenshot where it does show up as another faction in the selection screen, i didn't test it personally but since no one complained about a bugged diplomacy screen i thought it was working.
3 - ah i guess i should have expected this since i never saw a mod with its own models. also its just a suggestion but if its possible to do with retexturing, the buildings could benefit from having more lights/glowing parts to really make it clear that its a robotic city and not just futuristic designs.
1. It's part of the 3 mods that should unite into kind of fan expansion to the game. The other 2 will be focused not on major factions but on quests, heroes, minor factions, buildings and something else
2. It's impossible to create new faction with it's own arts wothout breaking the diplomacy screen - thus breaking the game. Mezari replacement is necessary so the faction can work at all. Mezari is just reskin for the Vaulters, so I don't see any problems with that.
3. The EL modding is not supposed to do such things. Even for my faction I had to do replacement of game files externally - it's immposible to add own models to the game. Only possible thing - retexturing, that i actually did and it took quite a bit of time
if this is the first part are the other two more factions inspired by endless space or expansions for this one ?
Why did you make it replace the mezari ? ( i've already seen example mods that add the faction to the pool without having to replace anything )
Since you've clearly put a lot of work into it you should look into making custom models for the faction too if that's not in the other parts.

(ENG) Okay, I'll say this. I was a new player and I'm happy with this faction, but for me it was difficult, especially there were problems with the army. But the balance is good and the faction is unique, but for me it's still a bit early
