It is likely that the published unofficial B42 maps might all be invalid when the official tools come out because the binary code to the mapping will likely be changed, especially regarding the coding/functionality of the new features (ramps etc.). I won't be moving this map to B42 until the official tools come out to avoid map corruption issues, and I want to guarantee this map makes it to guarantee that everyone will be able to play it in the future. @alexgreater1

does it work for b42?
DevTech  [author] Oct 17 @ 7:55pm
you'll see the map but not the actual level in person unless you reset all the cells its located in -- and that no one rendered the cells already in MP @M1rkural
-M1rkural Oct 17 @ 5:50am
hat if I add the map to an existing server and it starts up normally?
Jack Rossman Oct 15 @ 12:42pm
Sequel? I'm guessing it's the Aftermath version?
If not, what is this mysterious sequel?
DevTech  [author] Oct 15 @ 12:25pm
Right now I'm doing a heavy playtest in MP for the sequel
DevTech  [author] Oct 15 @ 12:25pm
@JackedDandels that content is coming but is first for Mount Crow City: Aftermath.
JackedDandels Oct 15 @ 4:53am
Does this map has some exclusive weapons/armor that can only be found inside the city?
DevTech  [author] Oct 8 @ 10:38am
I'm so confused XD @gamestalker
gamestalker Oct 8 @ 9:43am
to bad it's not working with Vanilinha City.
DevTech  [author] Sep 30 @ 7:33pm
@XKaş --- many people play Mount Crow without this problem. Your map priority order may be out of place or if its a multiplayer server --- and if you added the map during the wipe --- you will see the map and the level will not be there. It must be loaded with the server on a fresh start.
XKaş Sep 30 @ 4:39pm
it seen in the map but there is no building at all playing multiplayer and b41
Jack Rossman Sep 30 @ 1:51pm
fair nuff.

Out of morbid curiosity...
Can't you just back up your map mod files before porting to B42?
So that if the files get corrupted, you have a BUP?
DevTech  [author] Sep 30 @ 1:46pm
I would say but it'd be rude towards the mapper. @Jack Rossman
Cuddlygunman Sep 29 @ 8:54pm
Interactive as in a PZ Map Project version I think, but that's a lot of work and requires a whole dedicated hard drive, the tools to do it are here https://github.com/blind-coder/pz-mapmap if anyone has like 300 GB of free space to do it
Jack Rossman Sep 29 @ 3:42pm
What map got corrupted? Am curious.
DevTech  [author] Sep 29 @ 1:37pm
I know at least one very popular map that became corrupted.
DevTech  [author] Sep 29 @ 1:36pm
Theres a risk with moving a map to B42 on the unofficial tools that you can corrupt the map. so its not worth doing until official tools come out.
Willy Finger Sep 29 @ 12:50pm
why not move this to build 42?
DevTech  [author] Sep 29 @ 12:02am
interactive?
T0x1n Sep 28 @ 11:47am
interactive map when?
Mango Sep 26 @ 10:49am

Mango Sep 26 @ 10:48am
map when????????
DevTech  [author] Sep 26 @ 10:00am
I have a sequel maybe coming out within a day get ready ;)
DevTech  [author] Sep 26 @ 9:58am
It will, also thank you :)
Brindav Sep 26 @ 8:08am
ok so it will still be update after that ? props to you man the map is insane and i love dense city maps (my pc don't) but i don't really care, always been hyped about the potential for those with subteranean levels and skyscrapers on B42
DevTech  [author] Sep 26 @ 7:45am
Both. It won't have all that content immediately as Mount Crow is very large and that will take time to make. The first release of Mount Crow on B42 will likely be as it is on B41.
Brindav Sep 25 @ 12:22pm
sorry if its kinda annoying (i know those must be) but when you say it'll migrate to B42 you mean it will be supported on B42 or keep going on 42 with basements/new maximum floors ?
DevTech  [author] Sep 25 @ 10:08am
When Mount Crow City is at the final version it'll migrate to B42. @RattleB0nes
Rattle B0nes Sep 25 @ 1:37am
not sure if its been asked but will there be a b42 anytime soon?
Jack Rossman Sep 24 @ 1:51pm
nice. Good stuff.
DevTech  [author] Sep 24 @ 1:46pm
You'll be seeing somethin pretty epic pretty soon. I'm finishing the trailer --- then one final test ;)
Jack Rossman Sep 24 @ 10:16am
The deadline nears....
But you can't rush perfection!
DevTech  [author] Sep 18 @ 4:07pm
nah this all takes time, lots of time XD
ASINSINA Sep 18 @ 4:05pm
finish?
;)
DevTech  [author] Sep 18 @ 1:06pm
within this week @Jimmy :)
SIG-7D // Jimmy Heckjumper Sep 18 @ 5:14am
Just discovered this mod as im putting something together, excited to see this expansion! eta?
DevTech  [author] Sep 17 @ 9:47am
Close, just testing it mostly.
ASINSINA Sep 17 @ 3:18am
is finished? thanks
DevTech  [author] Sep 14 @ 12:37am
Expansion is coming. Get prepared ;)
DevTech  [author] Sep 1 @ 12:31am
@KappaID They'd have to update the mapmodmanager.
KappaID Aug 31 @ 12:04pm
anyone knows why the map is not appearing in map mod manager ?
DevTech  [author] Aug 27 @ 12:24am
Yo guys, massive Mount Crow Expansion coming out. A separate download. Yall gonna love it.
Fabri Aug 26 @ 2:24pm
It’s a Brazilian server, but we have players from several countries with us. The name is Contágio.
About the loot, I think it’s fair to make some adjustments so it matches the reduced number of zombies. Taking into account that there are also the sandbox settings themselves, which directly interact with the map’s distribution.
DevTech  [author] Aug 25 @ 5:00pm
@Fabri wat server btw
DevTech  [author] Aug 25 @ 4:31pm
@Fabri I'm considering releasing various versions of Mount Crow to fit different server or player needs.
DevTech  [author] Aug 25 @ 3:20pm
@Fabri only way to fairly do that is an eventual "(LITE)" Version but I would have to gut a lot of the loot out if I made it less zombies.
Fabri Aug 25 @ 12:49pm
I think the map is awesome and I’d love to add it to my server. It usually handles around 40 to 70 players at the same time, but the only issue for me is the high zombie count. Any chance of a version with fewer zombies, maybe using chunks, or even a file I can tweak in TileZed? Big servers with tons of zombies tend to run into stability problems, and it’s tough to make players always allocate extra RAM.
DevTech  [author] Aug 23 @ 4:23pm
Mapwide optimizations have been uploaded.
