@Jane - I think there are many levels of copyright, generally speaking video game music can be used all over the internet without much concern or copyright claim, mainstream music on the other hand is a completely different story

Out for curiosity, how come all these music mods are still up and running in the workshop? I'd expect steam to take them down as soon as they hit the shelves, that's what usually happens when people use copyrighted material in mods, even if it's completely non-commercial.

(I'm not morally opposed to these mods, just curious)
