managed to 100% all of calamity within 05:22:00, murasama scaled up to 1.9m dmg with all bosses killed and end game equipment + buffs (+ all menacing)
seems quite broken with per boss scaling as it spikes to over 100k dmg pre moonlord, which is genuinely absurd

Toned down the number is easy,and in addition, i also make sure this red funny sword will not exceed 150 damage until wall is dead. But Right now i don't have access to the computer i used to mod terraria , So i can't push the change now. Please be paitent,and thank for downloading my mod

I really like the idea of this mod, but it seems pretty overtuned. I played a little bit of infernum with it, and after beating king slime and eye of cthulhu, I shredded through crabulon in like a few seconds.

@Xyntol /240mm peek/ the setting to give the murasama in your inventory during char creation is disable by default. turn it on if you want to use it

Per boss is possible. i will do it that way then. it may take a while because i have to rewrite the whole thing,but Your suggestion is valid,so i will follow it as close as i could

I don't know if values can be tweaked per boss or if it has to follow a linear formula (+15 (* 1.2)), but with how much the difficulty of hardmode and the post moon-lord spikes, that's probably when the weapon should spike as well, rather than following a hard line.

I don't have any solid numbers but through a bit of math, I do have recommendations.

• For King Slime, 15 is probably fine, though an argument for 20-25 could be made.

• Against Wall of Flesh, the cap probably shouldn't pass 50-70. Night's Edge (45 damage) is already a monster of a weapon against Wall and Murasama works almost identically, and so should match or only slightly exceed it's damage; especially considering the 65% crit.

• Following that, while scaling would need fine tuned in hardmode, it should cap around 300 for Moon Lord. End DPS would be ~3400. Dividing his Max HP (429,165) by that value would be ~126 seconds, for a ~2.1 minute fight. A fair boss fight duration.

TL;DR - Initial 15-16 damage too low for fighting King Slime, damage scaling too high for all bosses after. Didn't test past Eater of Worlds so it may balance out later, but for those few I did fight? Too much.

I like the idea for mod, but I noticed an issue with scaling. Namely that, going in recommended order on the Calamity site (Slime, Scourge, Eye, Clam, Crab, Eater) that the 15 or 16 damage it starts with is far too low to effectively handle King Slime. After which it just got out of control. The damage it went up to tore apart Desert Scourge, and while the damage it then increased to for the Eye afterwards was closer to what I'd consider 'okay,' even fighting it while learning its mechanics still only took me two tries - so while closer to 'okay,' it was still too high. Clam and Crab afterwards then only took seconds to kill, mostly standing still, and Eater only took seconds to delete WHILE standing still. If it's relevant, I'm playing in Death Mode on a Master World.

Only if you enable the setting before create your character. Otherwise,you have to search it normally
