I can't chose the modded civilisations when the mods are activated, if i start a game i just spawn with a random civilisation from the original game

@diamond_ten: Unfortunately I was never able to get something functional for Daenerys, and I've long since stopped working on this project. It was a massive undertaking, and moving from high school to college has simply taken away the time I had to work on this. I'm just glad I made as much as I did and people enjoy it.

Is there any ETA on the Targaryen mod? Love all the civs here and just want to know if this is still being updated and will we get a Targaryen mod or has @llMatteo moved on to other projects? Is there a way to fund getting a Targaryen mod with dragons to become a reality? Thanks

@IlMatteo i have a bug on the true starting map where the wildlings would spawn 2 units every turn in 2 different tiles, so near the end of the game when they were the only civ left to conquer, i spent like an hour trying to kill the units, this was in september, is it still up?

Could someone please help me with this? I subscribed to all 23 of them, the map didn't appear so I dragged and dropped it from mods to maps folder, it shows up now, but it freezes when I try to play it and all of the civs I downloaded (starks, baratheons, etc.) don't appear at all in my civ list. I really want to play this and could really use some help!!!

( I don't have any dlc but it seems that I don't need it to play these)

This looks great! I can't wait for house Targaryan (and dragons!?) IMO the Night's watch should be a UU of House Stark, even though they're tecnically independent in the series.

But is it normal i can't play with the Dothraki, the first men, the slaver's bay and the children of the forest?? I've "only" 14 civs playables..

Slavers bay unique resource doesn't work. I capture a city, create a puppet but i don't get the resource. Is it a glitch or am i doing it wrong?

I believe the White Walker civ causes conflict with the unit promotion text in Vox Populi. Is there a civ here that uses unique promotions?

@Letsgogh find the Steam Mods folder in my computer copy the file for the map mod and past it into the MAPS folder within Steam

For some reason the map does not show up as a choice, even if I have all civs and wonders enabled in mods.

@Liberty_Prime: Right now, I really don't know. I started college earlier this week so I've been busy, and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to create and/or implement custom models.

I think what I'll probably do is use the model and method of implementation from the wild dragons mod, but I'll create my own textures so the dragons look like Drogon, Viserion, and Rhaegal.

@MixUpPixels: You have to do a few things to get mods to work with multiplayer. Look for guides, there are some good ones out there.

@jman99: On a scale of zero to ten, they have every war-related value set to ten and every peace related value set to zero. I think the civ AI just doesn't like going to war too often.

Is there any way to make the white walkers more aggresive? I was hoping they would be more dangerous when I played the true start map, but they were so far behind in techs and what not that they could barely do anything. So I changed the map a little to make the lands of always winter a little more hospitabal, but despite the white walker army being almost 3 times more powerful then the wildlings army they wouldn't declare war unless I payed them, but then after 10 turns they made peace despite the fact that they were eaisly over-powering them. If you don't want to change the actual mod, if you could tell me how I could change it myself I would really appreciate it.

@valton: I thought about making Daenerys start without a city, but ultimately it wasn't viable because when she was controlled by the AI she wouldn't really go conquer anything. Also, if you make her starting dragons and units strong enough to take a city, it wasn't necessary to start at just one, and she'd conquer the world really easily and early.

First... AMAZING Mod. I´m having a blast using it. Just need to find out how to remove the standard religions from the game so that the Lannisters does not found the Catholicism... :)

Second, can hardly wait for Daenerys... Would be really cool if her civilization started only with some Dothraki warriors and the 3 dragons units (really powerful units that cannot be built during the game, just upgraded into bigger dragons)... No settler, no starting city, so that she has to go and conquer a city for her. Sounds I cool idea, just not sure if playable.

@OopsSorryI: The only problem with that is I have to release a single map for every configuration where there are multiple possibilities. I'd need the one map as is, one with Ned and Euron, one with Robb and Balon, and one with Robb and Euron. And once there are more variations, like a Jon Snow Night's Watch and such, it'll lead to more variations. This would create unneccessary clutter in the mod collection imo.

If you're familiar with the map editor, you can create variations yourself; I know other people have.

@LambKyle: I've never tested it or heard of anyone testing it on multiplayer over LAN, so I don't really know if it would. I know there's online guides out there for making mods work with multiplayer, so I'd advise searching for those

@The Quiet Wolf: It's hard to say. I'm about to start college soon so I'm trying to get as much done this summer as possible. I'd like to port them all over to Civ6 when I get it, but I probably won't be getting it anytime soon because of how busy I'll be. Also, it's hard to say how directly they'll translate with Civ 6's mechanics. Some of them might require a lot of reworking.

Speaking fo Civ 6 what will be the future of this mod? do yo think you'll complete it for civ v before converting it to civ 6?

I had to delete my Jon trait suggestions because they devolved into a rambling disquisition about the long-overdue climax of his slow-burning evolution as a character. God, that was an exicting couple of episodes. Now if only GRRM would pick up the pace and give me something to chew on between seasons.

Anyway, I guess we'll be onto Civ 6(!) before we know whether Jon's UU needs to be one of the lesser dragons.

@Sakota: The tech tree for the scenario will be modified so there's still some benefit to science without there being progression through eras. Tech unlocks would be things like faster ship movement, wildfire, better castle walls, better road movement, and other minor things.

One last question: are you going to change science or keep it as a normal civilization game? (i mean, since its a GoT mod, are you going to allow all researches to be done or prohibit some? )

@etotheblack: Do you have the BNW and G&K dlcs? Are you going through the mods menu to start the game? Are you using any other mods at the same time?

@The Queit Wolf: I guess the show keeps putting more on my plate! I'll probably have to wait quite some time to see what Jon is like as king though so I can give him a UA and unique units/buildings different from the Night's Watch led by him.

@nunorcfgomes: The Twins will be a civ eventually; I'll think about moving them up in my priorities to fill that space.

I somewhat understand how mods are supposed to work. I have used some custom maps and such, but none of these mods seem to show up anywhere where I can actually play them. I see them in the mods list, but thats the only place. I've enabled them all.
